Chapter 18 - Return

The morning has arrived. Lika slowly opened her eyes. He is immediately shocked by the existence of Arini. But after remembering what happened last night, Lika felt calmer. He soon found Zafran.

Lika watched Zafran still asleep. He immediately woke the man up.

"Why?..." Zafran opened his eyes lazily.

"Before we go, we'd better meet Galih and Elis. Let's get ready!" take Lika while forcing Zafran to stand up. The two went to Galih's house for a while.

Zafran and Lika told Galih everything. The man was surprised. The same thing was felt by Elis. The couple was always amazed by the problems that befell Zafran and Lika.

"Me and Elis can only pray that all your problems will be resolved. Please do not hide your relationship too long. That's not good." Galih gave the advice that Elis followed with a nod of his head.

"Thank you, Lih, Lis. Me and Lika will not forget all the help you gave," Zafran said as he patted Galih's shoulder.

"Yes, thank you." Lika also revealed. She hugged Elis. They say goodbye quietly.

After meeting Galih and his wife, Zafran and Lika return home. They saw that Zayn and Arini were fully prepared.

Zafran and Lika just need to put all the luggage into the car. A few minutes later, they leave. Leaving the village that had been a witness to a secret marriage.

Zafran and Lika sat in the back. Silence enveloped the atmosphere. Zafran's hand slowly grabbed his wife's fingers. Lika holds Zafran's hand. He hopes to face it all when he gets home.

It takes almost all day to get to the city. Zafran, Lika, Zayn, and Arini spent the longest time on the train. They arrive at their destination in the afternoon.

"We better split up here. Lika and I are going to the apartment for a while" Zafran said. Talk to Zayn and Arini.

"We'll do everything tomorrow. I'll pick up Lika later" said Zayn. Making the look of Zafran's face immediately pouted.

"All right!" Lika immediately took Zafran away. The two took a taxi together. On the way to Zafran's apartment.

Upon arrival at the apartment, Zafran and Lika take a short break. Both of them put on blank stares. Blow together on the bed. The breath was interrupted several times by them.

"Everything's gonna be okay, right?" lika. She could not imagine Selia's response when she saw herself back.

Lika sat next to Zayn. He kept staring blankly out the window. He felt heavy parting with Zafran even if only briefly.

"Just calm. You're still gonna meet Zafran. At least after today's business is done. You can go back to your apartment and Zafran." As if knowing what Lika was thinking, Zayn tried to calm down.

"Please promise me one thing. If my aunt finds out about my relationship with Zafran, don't stop your cooperation. I did everything because of that," Lika said.

"All right." Zayn answered briefly. His car is now entering the Baskara family home area. She and Lika immediately went into the house.

I was busy in the kitchen. He was seen taking care of his four-year-old son.

Lika's steps came to a halt while watching Selia's back. He breathed out of his mouth. Prepare to face all of Selia's anger.

"Tante.." call Lika.

"Li-lika? You're..." Selia clenched her mouth tightly. Then ran to hug Lika. "Where have you been, huh?!" he lifted a hug violently.

"Sorry, Aunt. Yesterday I just felt unprepared" said Lika.

"You don't know that I've been looking for you everywhere! Chika and Nadia don't even know! You bad boy!" Selia slapped Lika's shoulder. He must be feeling a little upset.

"I'm sorry, Auntie. What matters is that I'm back, right?" Lika immediately approached Selia. It was then that Selia realized Zayn's presence.

"You came with Zayn?" ask Selia curious.

"D-yes." Lika had to nod.

"Lika called me first, Auntie. He had also apologized," Zayn said as he stepped closer to Selia and Lika.

"Thank God. Looks like you guys took a long time to get closer. We parents should not urge you to get married" Selia said. Holding his chest with one hand.

Lika smiled wryly. While Zayn smiled knot. The expression showed what they were feeling.

On the other hand, Zafran was back alone. Unlike Zayn and Lika who are back together. This is because Zafran really does not care about Arini.

Zafran also did not return home, but directly worked for his company. All of his employees were shocked by Zafran's sudden presence. Worse the man appeared and acted as if nothing had happened.

"Based on a brat! He left not to say. Came not even caught!" growled Gamal while loosening the tie. He immediately went to meet Zafran. Gamal also did not forget to tell Zafran's return to his wife.

The door of Zafran's workspace opened with a slam. The one who appeared was none other than Gamal.

"Eh, hi Pah." Zafran greeted with a smile. But Gamal responded with an eye-lotting.

"Here you!" gamal hasn't had time to teach a lesson, Zara's coming. He immediately pulled out Zafran's ears.

"I know you went with Arini! But should she go and go home secretly?! Your Papah and I are so worried!" said Zara while strengthening her jewelry.

Zafran can only complain. He tried hard to remove the jewel from his mother.

"Alright, Honey. He looks like he's been knocked over" Gamal said. Until Zara stops picking at Zafran's ears.

"Now tell us. What did you do when you left with Arini?" Gamal.

"Nothing is." Zafran tablewab while stroking his sick ears. He was lazy to give an answer.

"none. Don't lie to you! Papah same Mommy if watching tv together there must be something going on," Zara said. Makes Gamal's cheeks instantly flushed.

"Aahs... Papah same Mother if dumping garbage together must have happened something. Everyone knows, too," Zafran replied casually. He knew how close his parents were.

"This is why we even talk about Papah with Mother. We here want to know your relationship with Arini?!" Gamal demands answers.

Zafran was silent for a moment. He was trying to think of the right story. A story that certainly will not make misunderstandings even heavier.
