Chapter 16 - The Deal Offer

Watching Zafran freeze at the door, Lika calls out. He who had just been wearing full clothes, immediately caught up with Zafran.

Lika's pupils instantly enlarged when she witnessed Zayn's presence. Saliva until swallowed by itself.

"Za-Zayn?" Lika marveled.

"You know what's more surprising? The girl who came with him was the girl I was betrothed to," Zafran said as he slowly looked at Lika.

"What?!" Lika was getting shocked. Because he had never met Arini.

Zayn appeared to walk toward the position of Zafran and Lika. Accompanied by Arini from behind.

"So you guys went here?" cetus Zayn forced himself to smile. His attenuation continued to point towards Lika.

"Wow, Zaf. I like your body shape" Arini said bluntly. Making Lika directly duck towards him. The woman immediately forced Zafran to get dressed.

"I'll take care of them. Put some clothes on!" let's say Lika. Zafran who was pushed, then according to him.

"You can go in first." Honestly, Lika was confused as to how. He just hoped that everything could be discussed properly. Lika actually felt guilty towards Zayn. He knew the man must have been ashamed of himself a lot.

Zayn and Arini nodded. The two immediately sat down to the sofa that was in the living room. They sit a little far apart. Showing the view in all directions. Until finally they managed to see a photo of Zafran and Lika getting married.

Zayn got up from the seat. Then take a photo that caught his attention.

Lika just rounded her eyes. He is ready to face whatever happens. Including the anger of Zayn.

"I'm sorry for everything that happened... I understand if you want to be mad at me, Zayn.." said Lika. He held two hands together on his knees.

"You're so outrageous. If you want to run away you should think far away. This was done on Day H. Zayn and his family must be very embarrassed," Arini said cynically. He crossed his arms in front of his chest. Causing Lika's head to slowly bow.

Instead of being angry, Zayn smiled gently. He immediately sat down before Lika.

"So you and Zafran got married without the knowledge of their families?" ask Zayn seriously.

Lika nodded. His forehead is crinkling deep. Surprised at the calm reaction Zayn showed.

"Why indeed? What is the purpose of your coming here? And how did you know we were here?" timpal Zafran who suddenly appeared. He just got dressed.

"That's a long story, Zaf. We are very difficult to come here" answered Arini as he observed his nails decorated with blue kotek.

"Me and Arini have different reasons. But our goal seems to be the same" Zayn explained.

Zafran and Lika reflexively exchanged glances. They were naturally curious about the reason mentioned by Zayn.

"There's a property that belongs to the Baskara family that I'm after. But that property I couldn't get easily without Lika's help" Zayn said.

"meaning?" Lika demanded an answer.

"The point is, I want us to pretend to accept the match until your family is willing to give up what I want. I promise this won't take long" Zayn explained.

"So you want me to keep my marriage to Zafran a secret?" Lika ensures.

"You could say so." Zayn nodded his head.

"I don't agree! That's crazy!" Zafran spoke up. Staring sharply at Zayn.

"Why?" arini asked while looking hard at Zayn.

"Speak! Zafran wants to hear why you came here" Zayn said. Come put on a stern look.

"Ah right." Arini looked straight at Zafran. "Look, I apologized earlier. But I confess to both of our parents, that we're going together" he explained.

"What?! Why are you doing that?" Zafran doesn't believe it.

"I did it because I ran out of money. My mom and dad would send me money if I followed them. And now they're telling us to go home." Arini put on a sad face.

"But you don't need-"

"They are also working on a new project together. And the project was a great success. Didn't you have to call? He said he also had trouble taking care of your company that was left behind. Because of that new project your company survived. And if they find out you're secretly marrying another woman, then I can't imagine what will happen." Arini spoke at length. He even cut off Zafran's words. His words succeeded in making the man's mouth shut.

"My family's very upset about what you're doing, Lik. And the meeting went to great lengths to persuade us to keep working together. You know that the Baskara family company is in a slump" Zayn said. Staring at Lika and Zafran in turn. "Your daughter is now desperately trying to find you. I deliberately didn't tell because I knew who Zafran was" he said.

Zafran grunts violently. He can't stop Zayn and Arini. Everything is always related to family and business.

While Lika, she lowered her head. He remembered Selia. Even though her aunt sucks, Lika still loves her.

Slowly Zafran's hand touched Lika's fingers. The two immediately exchanged a gentle look. Zafran and Lika knew that the love they had for each other would be a big risk.

"We need time to decide." After seeing Lika's gaze, Zafran immediately spoke.

"True, after all, Zafran and I are intent on returning to the city." Lika.

"That's great. We'll be waiting. Arini and I will spend the night here" said Zayn casually. He decides without Arini's consent.

"What?! An evening?! But there is no signal here at all. I was trying to get a message back from my friend but I couldn't!" arini Protest.

"Then go home alone." Zayn is indifferent.

Arini is upset. He scratched his head with a feeling of frustration.

"Yes already. I'll make you a drink." Lika immediately went to the kitchen.

"Wait a minute." Zafran hurriedly followed Lika. They talk in the kitchen.

"How's this? I didn't expect everything to be so complicated like this?!" Zafran rubbed his face rough repeatedly.

"me too. I think when we get back to town, we'll just face each other's families. I completely forgot about Zayn as well as that girl you were betrothed to!" sahut Lika's. He filled the water into the teapot.

"We need to think carefully. We also have to make a plan so that everything can run smoothly. Actually Zayn was telling the truth about something. I'm not fully ready to tell you everything. Especially when he heard what Arini said earlier."

Lika nodded. He agrees with Zafran. It seems their choice is likely to accept a deal with Zayn and Arini.
