Chapter 7 Academic Meeting

Raden Ajeng Kartini Building at University Z.

Entering the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic year, University Z held an Academic Meeting of Lecturers at Raden Ajeng Kartini Building at University Z.

All teachers attended the academic meeting. In addition, this academic meeting, also attended by Vice Rectors, Deans and Vice Deans, Chair of Study Programs, Chair of Institutions, Head of UPT, Head of Section and Kasubbag.

Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Institution Development, Sitti Jamilah Amin led the meeting.

Academic Meeting of Lecturers is a consolidation forum for lecturers held before entering the lecture period.

This academic meeting forum is a place of leadership orientation as well as aspiration forum for lecturers in carrying out their main task, namely Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi.

In his briefing, University Z Rector Haikal Hasan Basri conveyed many things related to policy and dynamics of developments that have been and will be faced on campus.

At the beginning of his speech, the Rector expressed his gratitude and high appreciation to the lecturers who have carried out their duties and functions. According to him, what University Z achieved today is the contribution of all parties, especially the lecturers in carrying out the tasks of education/teaching, research and service.

One of the interesting things put forward by the Rector in his direction is the issue of the implementation of Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi. According to him, tusi in the field of education is no problem, but in the field of research and community service, the Rector judges there are problems.

The Rector hopes that the results of lecturer research not only produce output, but most importantly the results of the research provide benefits (outcome).

At least, the results of the study were embodied in the field of community service or other fields. The Rector challenges lecturers to conduct research whose results can be utilized in the field of education and service.

Now the situation must either feel happy or make Aya awkward, but Aya covered it with professionals.

In the warm hospitality to enjoy the banquet after the Academic Meeting, the kaprodi gathered together with the ranks of campus officials and of course the Rector was also located.

"Well it seems our campus is following the current trend huh? The young achiever." Said Mr. Bedjo as Chairman of the Senate.

The words of Mr. Senate Chairman and the Senate Secretary were greeted with a crisp laugh of all who heard while enjoying their lunch.
