A loud slap answered Dinda's request. The harshness of Dina's punch made Dinda stagger almost fall. Luckily a pair of sturdy arms held him.
"Be careful!"
The sturdy hand immediately helped Dinda stand up.
"Thank you very much" Dinda said to her rescuers.
The man only smiled with a hard-to-understand expression. "Let's go!" Dinda's arm pulled her away from the group of girls who were bothering her. Dinda was in a daze, just obediently as her hand was pulled. A few moments without talking. Dinda simply observed her helper man from behind trying to recognize her.
The man was wearing a sleeveless shirt, as sweat flooded all over his body. Looks like the guy was one of the basketball players he had seen playing on the court. Dinda's reflexes looked back at the basketball court. Seen there some men look annoyed looking at him. Suddenly Dinda woke up. He shook his hand until he slipped out of the man's hand.
"Thank you I can walk alone." Dinda rushed to leave the man in his place. Dinda did not go to the lecturer's room. He chose to calm himself down somewhere. After telling his driver to turn around the campus, he told him to stop in front of a cafe. He wanted to cool his heart for a moment before returning home.
Dinda ordered a glass of mango juice and a plate of fries. He chose a bench in the corner of the perfect place to be alone.
Her tears sagged considering how her best friend Dina slapped her. Wouldn't he just want to hear a little of his explanation? Until his order was delivered to his desk, Dinda could no longer hold back his sobbing. Makes the waiter feel sorry. Unexpectedly the unfamiliar servant girl, suddenly hugged him.
Dinda was surprised at first, but she started to feel comfortable. Right now this is what he needs. A shoulder that provides support. After Dinda was relieved, she let go of her embrace.
"Thank you" said Dinda.
"Yes equally, I'm sorry to go back to work" said the servant girl with a big smile. Dinda just smiled taking off the cafe waitress girl. His heart began to warm. There are still people who love them, even though they do not know each other.
Dinda enjoys her drinks and snacks. He comforts himself. Dina's misunderstanding of him in time will definitely unravel as well. Now he will just live his life to the best of his ability.
His glass of juice was still half, when a voice greeted him. "It seems to be bad here." The familiar voice of the man in his ear. Sure enough as Dinda ascertained the origin of the voice, the man stood before her.
Dinda was afraid to respond.
"Didn't you want to treat me as a thank you for helping you earlier?" ask the man with a cold look.
Seeing the man before her instantly reminded her of her husband Raphael. Instantly a cold aura attacked him. Dinda was glued on without daring to take her eyes off.
The man without waiting for Dinda's answer immediately sat in front of Dinda. He also ordered the same drink as Dinda's order. Picking up fries without excuse. Seeing him makes Dinda go awry. The man who was now sitting in front of him was unfamiliar to him. Although it may be a college friend different faculties, but for Dinda the man is still a stranger.
"You don't know me?" the man asked showing his surprise.
Dinda just shook her head weakly. All this time his eyes only filled with Fariz's shadow so there was no place to see another man. Even when on campus he never once said hello to a boy friend.
"Yes, I'm not surprised that Dinda doesn't know me. Hasn't Fariz closed your eyes tight. How's it going now? I heard he's in jail? Good of it, let him rot in jail. He deserves it."
"If you want to give the punishment that's worth it to that jerk. I can help you!" The man said confidently.
Dinda was still quiet, to be honest, she was eager to leave. He's not comfortable being around that guy a lot of talk.
A servant girl approached their table to deliver the order. It turned out that the servant girl who had been hugging Dinda knew the man.
"Wah . tumben nih pak lawyer stopped by," said the girl cheerfully.
The man who was called the servant girl immediately gawked. He reflexively got up and hugged the servant girl.
"Yes my... Candy, I barely recognize you. Why are you dressed like this? And you serve yourself?" ask the man amazed.
"That's what my employees are coming out so I myself have to intervene while waiting for another employee to come in."
Candy glanced at Dinda who looked agitated. He begins to wonder what might happen to Steven and the girl in front of him. Is Steven the reason that girl cried?
"Steven, do you know each other?" Candy could not help her curiosity.
"This is Dinda my college friend at Nusantara University." Steven is confident.
"Yes, I'm gone, you guys keep talking." Said Candy as she passed. There was a cafe visitor who caught it. He also rushed there.
"Dinda .. You really don't know me? I graduated last year. Three years I was the chairman of BEM. Do you still not recognize me?" steven's question is almost inflamed.
"Yes.sorry I just remembered. Then you're Steven Zack?" tanya Dinda confirmed. Dinda and other female students often gossip about BEM's only chairperson who served three consecutive terms. It's very rare. Never in the history of Nusantara university has there been a BEM chairman who can survive like Steven. This is because many competitors are fighting over that position.
Steven is different, he has charisma and ability to support so he remains elected for three periods. Dinda only knows that, the longest running BEM chairman is Steven Zack. That'sallthatis. As for what the face looked like, Steven's appearance was never thought of Dinda. Hence, when he met Steven he did not recognize him at all. Only when Steven said that he was an alumni and had served as the chairman of BEM for three years in a row did he just recognize him.
"Yes.right." Steven looked relieved.
"Dinda.... Where do you live now?" asked Steven curiously.
"Ehm." Answer Dinda origin. He did not want to expose her about his personal life. He did not dare to reopen his remarried status. He was afraid that his friends' views on him would be worse.
"Where?" ask Steven again. He was very curious because the last month he could not find Dinda anywhere. And right now the girl is in front of her nose, of course she doesn't want to let go.
"I'm sorry I couldn't tell you" said Dinda half-heartedly. He no longer wanted to continue his conversation with Steven.
"I'm sorry I have to go home soon." Dinda grabbed her bag and intended to leave immediately. But Steven grabbed Dinda's wrist and held her back.
