Between Revenge and Love

Between Revenge and Love
A Decision

There were cold sweat dots drenching Dinda's forehead. He was trying to regulate his heart rate.

"Oh my God, this man who has taken away my honor?" The complaint in the heart. There is no courage to speak the truth. What was in his heart was shame. She felt ashamed that her own lover sold her honor just for the sake of making money. Dinda lowered her face deeply.

It was as if he was trying to hide his face from the world view. Dinda's hands were shaking. His fingers twisted each other. Trying to find calm.

"Where is Dinda, has she made a decision?" madam Desy asked to surprise him.

"Ma.ma.ma.af Madam, I'd like a little time to consider it." replied Dinda crazily more like an *******.

Ridho grew curious about the girl in front of him. He remembered the girl he hit in the hospital lobby. Also the girl he almost hit on the highway a few days ago. And because the girl was screaming, she had to take him around. But he could not remember his name.

In Ridho's eyes, this afternoon the girl looked very pretty. Even as the girl suddenly ducked, her smooth cheeks instantly blushed. The girl had secretly stolen Ridho's attention.

"We haven't met?" ask Ridho suddenly.

Dinda was surprised. He could only swallow his saliva which instantly felt his throat dry. He also took his glass of water. Trying to cover up his nerves.

"This is Dinda Ridho, who's making our dinner today." Sela madam Desy.

Dinda smiled doubtfully. Because right now he really does not have a face in front of the two people. He felt dirty, what if Madame Desy knew that she had slept with her son. A speck of tears seeped out from the edge of Dinda's eyes. He hastily removed it fearing the known mistress Desy let alone the man in front of her.

"Oh... So you're the chef, who cooks the rice boxes for the company?"

Dinda answered Ridho's question with just a nod of her head.

"You continue to eat it. I'll get Dinda the bonus money first." Mrs Desy leaves her son with Dinda. Every now and then, Madam Desy looked back. She smiled at the interaction of her son with Dinda.

"So mama nawarin what cooperation?" search Ridho.

Dinda stammered, her tongue cackled. Did the man in front of her not recognize himself to be the woman he had slept with? Dinda observes the look on Ridho's face that doesn't seem to recognize him. Maybe because Ridho was drunk that night so he didn't remember?

Ridho looked at Dinda suspiciously. There was something Dinda had hidden from him. Does the offer of her mother's work have anything to do with her personal life? Is this girl possibly being matched with him? If that was true, he would not mind at all. Ridho put on a smile.

"Mrs Desy offers a job as a family chef." Dinda's answer dashed Ridho's hidden hope. He breathed a disappointed breath.

"Certainly.., you accept it?" ask Ridho curious. He hopes to get to know Dinda better.

"I haven't made a decision yet" replied Dinda hesitatingly.

"Why? Is the salary less? I can add to your salary."

Dinda was stunned, for a moment she fell silent.

"It seems I can't accept Miss Desy's offer."

"Why?" tanya Ridho was getting curious. He did not expect the plain girl in front of him to waste such a tempting offer from his mother.

"Ehm.I have to take care of my mother, because my mother is sick." Dinda looked for an excuse. Actually he was very interested in the job offer from the lady Desy but he could not rashly enter into their family. What will happen later if Madame Desy finds out about the incident that night. She would definitely hate him and regard him as a cheap woman. Even though he did not enjoy the illegal money.

"Sorry sir, I've been here too long. Fearful of the house looking for me." Dinda has to get out of that house. He felt uncomfortable lingering together with Ridho.

"Wait for mama for a second. Didn't you just tell me about giving you bonus money?" Prevent Ridho.

"I said thank you very much. This meal satisfied my guests. Also the dinner tonight is delicious. For my offer, please think about cooking." Mrs Desy was very much looking forward to Dinda's willingness. Because he had a plan to bring Ridho closer to the girl.

"Yes, I'll think. Sorry madam, it's starting at night. I'll say yes."

Madam Desy nodded.

"Ma. let Ridho between Dinda yes. I'm afraid I'll have trouble getting a car online here." Ridho stood up from his seat.

"Ehm.. Sir, there's no need. I can go home by myself. Thank you very much." Reject Dinda fine. He did not want to linger with Ridho.

"Don't be denied people's good intentions. Let Ridho drive you." Madam Desy forced Dinda to accept Ridho's offer to drive her.

Dinda no longer dared to reject the words of Madam Desy who sounded as an order in her ears. He followed Ridho who walked out first.

Arriving next to his car, Rhido opens the door for Dinda. Making Dinda flattered but her memory at the hotel that morning again tormented Dinda.

Throughout the journey Dinda fell silent. He only answered briefly to each question Ridho. Making Ridho astonished, Dinda who was known before was a chatty girl and very cheerful. But now it is very much different.

"Some time ago we crashed in the hospital. Who's sick Din?"

"Mother." answered Dinda briefly.

"What pain?" Ridho again threw a question, hoping to get a response from his interlocutor.

"Heart pain." Dinda gave a short answer.

Their car stopped when a red light flashed at the crossroads. A woman suddenly bangs on the car door near Dinda sitting. Dinda lowered her car glass a little, curious.

"Mrs. please, take me to the hospital. I want to give birth." Shouted the woman with an expression of enduring the pain. Dinda turned her head to Ridho. After all, he was just a passenger.

"It's up to you Din, if you want to help him get him in." Ridho told Dinda to make a decision.

"The lady's father is sir." Dinda said as she opened the door. He helped the woman into the passenger seat. Dinda saw that there was blood seeping in between the woman's thighs making her panic.

"Mr Ridho, hurry sir. This woman is bleeding!"

Shouted Dinda without hesitation. He was afraid to see blood. Ridho immediately drove his car to the nearest clinic. Arriving at the clinic, the woman immediately got treatment from a midwife. Dinda was confused, only this time he was waiting for the woman who was going to give birth. There is fear but also curiosity. He continued to pray for the safety of the mother and the unidentified baby.

Ridho seemed to understand Dinda's feelings. He remained faithful to Dinda, even though Dinda repeatedly asked him to go home first.

"Mom..it's his brother already born. Boy, mother and baby in good health all." A nurse told Dinda. The nurse showed me where the mother and baby were placed.

"Alhamdulillah. Mr. Ridho let's see the baby." Dinda clasped Ridho's hand and guided him to follow her.

They saw a tiny baby that had been laid and laid in an incubator. Dinda was so happy to see the little baby. A smile expands when he sees the tiny baby sleeping.

Instantly he realized his hand was still faithfully grasping tightly Ridho's hand. Dinda also reflexively released her hand grip.

"Sorry" he said. Dinda was really embarrassed at what she had just done. What if Mr Ridho gets angry?
