Jerry gives Alexa a tissue because she still sobs from telling her past with Chris. She did not expect that Alexa knew Chris so she decided to tell him about Chris' past to be what it is now.
“When he was 19 years old, he had an accident hit by a car and his head hit hard on the sidewalk so he was amnesiac at the time. And every time he tries to remember his head hurts so doctors advise not to remember the past.” Jerry gave the tissue again seeing Alexa cry even louder after hearing that. “I was around the crash site and helped get him to the hospital.
