Chapter 54. Love Padlock

I don't know because of who. The holiday turned out to be nothing like Vina had imagined. At night when Vina wants to go to Namsan, only Galang can accompany her. All members of the Vina family agreed to reason that they were lazy to come out in very cold weather. Even mama Laras also reasoned too tired.

"Why put on such a pouting face?" ask Galang.

"They're all shitty. I've been expecting this holiday to be enjoyed together, but they instead .... "

"Already, don't get angry. Later the beauty is lost," said Galang cut Vina's speech. The man pinched Vina's cheek which was flushed red because the air there was indeed quite cold.

Vina just glanced at Galang with a face that was getting flushed with embarrassment. Now they both arrived at the top of Namsan. Where a lot of couples put a love padlock there.

"I've been here with Dad. If it hasn't been removed, I've forced you to put a padlock in here. Vina squatted down and started looking for the padlock she had put up with her father.

"Ah, meet," cried Vina pleased. He rubbed the padlock while smiling bitterly.

"Dad, Vina came back here. Look, Dad. Vina fulfilled Vina's promise. Vina came here with someone who really wanted to accept Vina for who she was and love Vina."

Without feeling the tears Vina immediately invited the river. Galang pulled Vina into his arms.

"I used to whine, forcing Dad to put a padlock in here. Dad said the padlock had to be with a loved one, but I told him I loved him. Dad laughed then. He said it had to be like mom and dad. Now I brought Mas here because I wanted to tell dad. If I had found the person I love. Thank you Galang for being in my life."

"What are you saying, don't thank me. I should be thanking you. Thank you for suddenly being in my life." He reached into his pocket. He pulled something out of his pocket.

"Will you put this padlock with me?" Vina pulled her body away from Galang. He stared at the two heart-shaped padlocks with a full glare.

"Mas, this .... " Vina was no longer able to say anything. He directly hit Galang and hugged him tightly.

"This is our love lock. From here we will start everything. We will sail the sea of life with the household ark. We'll always be together." Galang unravels Vina's embrace.

The man knelt down, resting on one leg. "Vina Adiatirta, will you marry me?"

Galang thrust the padlock he brought to Vina. Vina smiled and nodded steadily. In that romantic moment. A boisterous sound of applause emerged from behind the stairs. The Vina family was all present. They were indeed intending to give a surprise to Vina. Some visitors who have been there since then clapped to watch other proposals than usual.

Vina laughed as she continued to wipe her tears that continued to flow profusely.

"Mama." Enzo suddenly ran over and hugged Vina. From the face of the boy looks once if he is feeling the happiness of his future mother.

Laras smiled happily, finally he could watch his son propose to the woman he loved. He hoped that his son and grandson could be happy forever with Vina.

The big family finally went to dinner after watching Galang and Vina lock their Love padlock at the top of Namsan Tower.

Although her face looked puffy, Vina looked very happy. Evidently since then she always smiled to see her extended family gather with the family of her future husband.

Vina is now at peace with her past. He hopes his future with Galang can be better than what he has been through yesterday.

After dinner, the family returned to the hotel. Galang and Vina rooms are next to each other. Galang accompanied Vina to the front door. Vina turned around and looked at Galang before entering her room.

"Mas, thank you for today. Have a good rest."

Galang smiled and gently rubbed Vina's cheeks. He took something out of his shirt pocket.

"I'm not a romantic guy, but I hope this ring can prove my seriousness in making you my wife." Galang put a ring on Vina's ring finger.

Vina was no longer able to say anything. He just stared dumbly at the beautiful ring that was now coiling on his finger.

"Sleep, it's late" said Galang, the man raised Vina's chin and then gently kissed Vina's forehead. Vina closed her eyes feeling the warmth of Galang's touch that ran through her entire bloodstream.

Vina closed the door with a racing heart. He will mark this day as the happiest day of his life.

He entered his room. He laid himself on the bed with the same happy face as Vina. One more step, returning from Korea, he will take care of all the papers for the purposes of marrying Vina.

Galang can't wait to see that. Getting married to a woman like Vina was something that Galang had never thought of before, but over time everything changed. Galang does need a soft-hearted woman figure like Vina.
