ARINDAS
Fretted

“No need to dress pretty-beautiful!”

“What, anyway, Ricko?”

“You deliberately want to show your beautiful face to that director?!”

Arinda hit Ricko's arm pretty tight and said, “What are you talking about, anyway?! I'm with you to meet a client. Aren't you ashamed if my face catches?”

“No. It's just like that,” said Ricko while pulling Arinda's hair that has been nodding high. “don't also show your neck. You want to tease her?!”

“Ricko!”

“What?”

“What are you?”

Ricko impaled Arinda. “Better you don't have to come. Be quiet in this room and don't go anywhere until I get home.”

Arinda clucked in annoyance. “No. I want to come with you.”

“Arinda!”

Arinda pushed Ricko away. Then, move on and go outside the room without caring that the man will get angry.

All the way in the car, no one spoke. They both showed annoyed faces.

Thirty minutes later

They reached the restaurant where the meeting was agreed. Arinda came out first without waiting for Ricko.

“Enjoyed once he. Just look out for you, Arinda!”

Ricko got out of the car. He stepped fast. In order to align the steps with Arinda who is far ahead. The two of them started to enter the restaurant and approached the client.

“Good day, Mr. Ricko,” greet Tyo, Finance Director of PT. Adi Raksa's. Then, he turned his head towards Arinda, “Good afternoon, Mother Supervisor. You are getting beautiful.”

“Good day, Mr. Tyo and Mr. Bambang

And, thank you for your praise," Arinda replied as she stared at her clients' eyes alternately.

Ricko's thumping voice made everyone focus on the marketing director.

“Can we directly eat. I happen to be starving to eat people,” Ricko said.

“You mean?” ask Bambang confused.

“Ah, that means I'm hungry want to eat fast,” replied Ricko.

Arinda breathed a tired sigh. Start being possessive of me. Are you still in love or not, Ricko? his inner.

They eat in silence. Finish finishing the food. Conversation briefly talks about work and continued signing of the contract letter.

“How are you doing, Arinda?” ask Tyo.

“He is fine. You don't have to worry, Mr. Tyo,” Ricko replied.

“Ah, I see,” said Tyo rather surprised to hear Ricko who said. Then, he opened the wallet and took one card. “o, yes. Here's my business card. And, may I have your phone number.”

“No.” Again, Ricko answered Tyo's question. And, that business card had quickly moved into his hand. “Thank you for the card.”

Tyo gawking. Then, cleared your throat to neutralize awkwardness.

“You two have a relationship?” ask Tyo.

“Sure,” Ricko replied.

Arinda's happy not to play. Eventually, Ricko admits to their relationship.

“Love?” ask Tyo again.

“Working partner.”

The carefree face instantly turned flat. Later, Arinda. A co-worker? Just lifted me high into the sky, but you quickly dropped it hard on earth.

“Then, I don't care if you approach your coworker, Mr Ricko?” tanya Tyo started to get angry by the behavior of the man who was with Arinda.

“Sure to be my problem. Because, it is still working hours and we are both busy,” Ricko replied.

“Ah, so. Means ...”

“Sorry, Mr. Tyo and Mr. Bambang. We both have a lot of other work. Come Arinda, back to the office.”

Ricko pulled Arinda's arm to stand up. The girl complies. However, those eyes could not lie, mutely.

“Log in!” Ricko pushes Arinda's body into the car.

The girl was silent, according to her return. But, unconsciously shed tears.

“We go back to the office,” said Ricko turned his head and immediately frowned in surprise to see Arinda cry.

“Arinda ...”

“Why not be honest if I am your lover?”

“I told you not to let anyone else know about our relationship.”

“Why?!”

“Have not cried.” Ricko hugged Arinda. However, the girl refused.

“Don't touch me! You don't like to see me teased by other men. But, I don't want to admit it either. I'm like your mistress?!”

“What do you want now? Want us to just break up?” ask Ricko to challenge.

Arinda was silent for a moment. Then, shake your head.

“Then according. I told you to be patient with my attitude. I can't admit you in front of anyone else.” Ricko.

“Iya, but why? I need a reason?!”

“Arinda, just listen and obey me. Don't ask anything else!”

“You till when?”

“Entah.”

Arinda is getting sobbing. “You love me or not?”

Love's.

“No.”

“You're evil!”

“Iya, I'm evil. Pleased! And, keep following, don't defy me!”

Work until the afternoon. Meeting with PT. The front guard went well. Just take care of the pile of documents and check the emails in the Office.

However, the air-conditioned room was hot. The reason, the two people inside put on a sour face and gave off an aura of hostility.

Time passes quickly. The clock showed at nine o'clock in the evening. Ricko is ready to go home. Meanwhile, Arinda is still struggling in front of the laptop.

Without talking to bring her home. Ricko just walked out of the room leaving Arinda alone.

Arinda looked at Ricko's departure wryly. Tears managed to escape flowing on both cheeks.

An hour later

After finishing all his work. Arinda glanced at the clock on the wall, it was ten o'clock at night.

Arinda closed the laptop. Walk out of the room to go home.

🌺🌺🌺

Travel to Malioboro at night alone. Arinda laughed at herself. Genas and ironic! Life full of suffering never ends. Expecting someone to be a place to lean. Pupus.

Tired of walking, Arinda chose to rest her legs in a garden.

Sitting leaning alone while saying softly, “Is there still anyone who can love me sincerely? Ah, moron. If there is, can I return his love? While this heart has already been engraved another name? I just want to have a relationship that reciprocates. That's it!”

“Arinda, I love you. Sincere love since the beginning of our meeting on campus.”

Arinda frowned at the familiar voice. Gluing the handle on the bag he was holding.

Then the owner of the voice sat beside Arinda. Then, touch her hands that were starting to get cold.

Arinda looked up and let go of the touch.

“Sir Alfian!” Shame is on. Arinda shifted her seat until it stuck to the end.

“Somebody hurt you?”

“No.”

“Then, earlier ... was making a cintakah rhyme?”

Arinda. He was increasingly embarrassed by his lecturer was found to be heartbroken. Her lips shook with the feeling of not being able to come out.

Alfian directly pulled Arinda's head and placed it on her shoulder. “Crying. Don't worry. Sometimes we need to shed a lot of tears. So that, the condition stabilizes again and tightness in the chest decreases.”

Hearing Alfian's words, Arinda cried. He spilled all his stifled feelings through tears. Both hands are used to cover the face.

Thirty minutes of crying. Arinda began to feel her heart plong. He sat back down with his back on the chair.

“It's better?”

“Thank you, Sir.”

Alfian smiled. “Call me Alfian. After all, our age is only three years away.”

“What is polite? Either way you are my lecturer.”

“I asked.”

Arinda nodded.

Silent!

“A woman walks alone in Malioboro and it's almost midnight. Says kid now says he's gabbling.”

“I just don't know where to go? So, yes, just follow these footsteps.”

“Is that? So, what are you doing in Jogja? Vacation?”

“Work.”

“Dinas?”

“Iya, that sort of thing. And, what are you doing here?”

“Again.”

They both laughed.

“I'm serious, Alfian.”

“Come, we get married if you're serious.”

Arinda laughs. “There is someone in my heart. Sorry.”

“It's okay. This is the consequence of daring to love. Clap one hand.”

Alfian's words were exactly the same as his heart when he was in the car this afternoon.

“But, why can you smile? Though, love is unrequited.”

“I want to force you. But, love will not end well if we force it, right? I've been chasing you. And you refused it a few times. So, yes, just waiting for fate. Who knows, we're still a fool. Hope you can, right?”

“Sorry.” Arinda smiled bitterly. All Alfian's words are true.

“No need to apologize. Make me you an amazing woman. Being able to love a girl like you is a joy.”

If only, those words would have slid out of Ricko's mouth. How perfect life is, Arinda murmured.

“You are very wise. What are you doing in Jogja? This is the second question. So, do not answer join again,” said Arinda while laughing.

Alfian laughed. “Introducing Mom home. Last morning just arrived.”

“I almost forgot if Your Mother is a Jogja. Excuse me. Titip my greetings to mom.”

“Sure. I'm sure glad to get your regards.”

Arinda smiled without saying anything

“ARINDA!”

That sound?
