One Week without talking. Eyes with empty eyes. Eat only it. Every day standing in front of the window of the room staring at the sky.
Mutely. Arinda refused to speak. He was so tired that he chose to ignore everyone. Refuse anyone who comes. Alone, that was all he wanted in order to calm his mind.
“Bu Early, can I see Arinda?” ask Ricko. He began to worry about the condition of the puja.
As usual, Ricko comes along with Dito and Zacky. Every day he never misses to visit Arinda. Rejection for rejection always happens.
“Good. As usual, if Arinda shakes her head. Come out or he'll hurt himself.”
“Ya.”
On the first day, the three friends were forced. However, it ends with Arinda taking the fruit knife on the nightstand. He pointed the sharp object towards his own neck. Then, with a tail of eyes and a sharp gaze told everyone to come out.
Since then, no one has dared to go into the room if Arinda has already shook her head. The fruit knife is always in your hand. They chose to budge rather than the girl realizing the threat without the sound.
“Zack, I'm alone in. You're not papa, ‘kan?” Ricko asked because it felt bad to step over his sister-in-law.
Zacky patted Ricko on the shoulder. “Nope! I believe in you. Make Arinda cheerful again, Rick.”
Ricko nodded then stepped into the room where Arinda was. Open the door slowly. As usual, the girl looked out the window as if it had become routine.
Ricko cleared his throat. Give the code if it exists.
Arinda. His gaze was not distracted at all.
Feeling Arinda let it go because she didn't shake. Ricko stepped in. Approach him with a slow foot swing.
Ricko breathed a sigh of relief when he was already at a distance of one foot only. He smiles. That means, Arinda allows.
Ricko's view focused on Arinda's hand with a knife. Think about how to get rid of that sharp object.
“The sky outside is beautiful, like your smile.”
A conversation opener that sounds like a rumble. Ricko did not know what kind of chat to not be expelled by Arinda. The words spontaneously came out because the last seven days of the sad net were always staring up at the sky.
Arinda was silent.
Ricko considers that to be his next deal. He began to grab Arinda's hand which was tightly grasping the fruit knife. Slowly release the sharp object.
A sense of relief was clearly printed on Ricko's face when the knife was successfully removed. He quickly threw her out the window and hugged Arinda.
Ricko rubbed Arinda's back. Hugged it tighter. The man gave up all desire for the idol.
“I miss you. Go back to Arinda. Don't be quiet like this.”
Arinda was still flinching.
“Speak.” Ricko took off his embrace and stared fixedly at the nether who did not turn the slightest away from the sky.
Ricko stroked Arinda's head. Gently rubbed his cheek.
“Mau pizza?”
There's no response.
“I want to kiss you? Can?”
Still not responding.
Ricko clenched his head closer and stuck their lips together. This time, he wished Arinda was angry then hit him. However, the girl was silent.
Ricko let go of his lips. “Rin, you are not alone. There is a me who will always love you. You also still have Zacky, Dito, Early Mom. We love you.”
Silent!
“What do you want, Rin? I'll grant it.” Ricko grabbed Arinda's hands. “Wedding? I'll grant it. Want when? Next month, next week, or tomorrow. Come on, we're married!”
However, it was not an answer that was obtained but a slap. Arinda stared hard at Ricko and told him to come out through the tail of his eyes.
Ricko smiled at the slap. At least, her girl started to respond even though her cheeks were victimized.
“Iya. I'm going out. Tomorrow, tomorrow, and tomorrow. I'll come back. Give it a harder slap or blow. But, don't use your hands, it will hurt. Use any thing. Okay.”
Ricko leaves Arinda. But, before actually going to look at it for a while.
After making sure Ricko left. Arinda hurried to close the door. It decays to the floor by leaning against the door leaf. His lips and body were shaking. Clear flowing thread.
“I'm tired, Rick.”
