Breaking the Door

Without even looking, Rae already knew who was speaking in a firm voice. Master Azura galloped quickly towards them, from within the castle.

“Never in my life as a teacher,” Master Azura is out of words. With eyes staring fiercely at Rae, “Why do you always bring bad influence to your friends?”

Uh that's not fair, Rae thought grimly. The prince of darkness who started first, he was not the only one involved, but only he was to blame, Rae sighed resignedly.

“Fight again Rae?” mounchi asked calmly, he appeared puffing from nowhere, suddenly having stood beside Master Azura.

“Prince Herados who started Master,” Rae whines while referring to Herados.

“Let me handle this Master,” said Master Mounchi did not press Rae. “Share your sword Prince! Princess Frya will definitely not let you hurt her friend, and you are also princess!”

Herados obeyed Master Mounchi, “Joking little Master,” cheered him while smiling guiltlessly, making Rae want to hit him. Yeah, a little joking, which is true, Rae almost died getting slashed. A second ago Rae had believed Herados did intend to do it, just to joke, obviously it was not funny. Frya followed Herados' movements, sheathing her sword casually.

“Of course Master Mounchi, you have to punish this child, he just keeps acting,” Master Azura said, Rae thought Master Azura already did not hate him, because now he has quite mastered magic. But it seems he was wrong.

“Follow me to my office now Rae!” Instantly Rae felt the blood disappear from her face, hearing the blaming tone from Master Mounchi. Master Mounchi turned around and again walked towards the castle without seeing if Rae followed him.

Rae followed behind, disappointed. He knew he would get in trouble for it, as the student with the lowest social status among Frya and Herados, making him the prime suspect to get punished if they got into trouble, moreover, Frya's status was a teacher at Snitchopalace, there was no way she would get in trouble because of something like this. And as to why Herados should be punished, he was a prince, Rae had no idea what his status was in Snitchopalace which obviously he was not a commoner like Rae.

Rae sighed, as soon as she walked into Rae's office and closed the door behind. Master Mounchi sat down in front of his desk and pointed at the chair in front of him.

“Sit!” Rae according.

“Rae! Didn't the punishment that I gave you give you an idea of the son of the royal master Svar alfar?” asked Master Mounchi sharply.

“Really Master, Prince Herados started it first Master, he approached me, I would have left if he had not attacked me. Do I have to let the prince of darkness slash my head?” cerocos Rae dramatic.

Master Mounchi took off his glasses, then another hand massaged the skin between his eyes in a frustrated motion. “I don't know what I should do to you,” he said tired. “You should shy away from him Rae.”

“I know Master. And I've been doing it, for a while, but ..” Rae sighed, “it is difficult if Prince Herados is the one who intends to find me,” complained Rae.

Master Mounchi looked at him from behind the glasses with a judging look as if thinking hard.

“Master Azura thought you weren't very good at mastering spells,” Master Mounchi said moments later, the change in topic left Rae confused.

“But I see you are able to cast a protection spell well.” The second passed very slowly, after Master Mounchi said it he fell silent, continuing to stare at Rae with a judging tantrum. Makes Rae nervous. Of course Rae was restless, Master Mounchi's blue eyes always made him uneasy, those eyes seemed to be able to see deep into Rae's innermost mind. Seeing who Rae really is, which even Rae doesn't know who it is.

“I was proven wrong to judge you,” Master Mounchi's gaze rained down on Rae.

“What does Master mean?” ask Rae.

“For several weeks I heard Master Azura's complaint about how you were unable to master the spell lessons he taught. And I believed it, but today it proved me wrong, you could be said to be quite capable of magic. I noticed your fight and Herados who, Ya Rae.. I noticed,” Rae grinned at Master Mounchi's remark.

“Not just once but several times. You managed to create the perfect barrier to ward off the Herados attack,” Master Mounchi was silent for a moment letting his words float. “Although the barrier is not yet strong enough to be able to ward off all Herados.” attacks

“And it proves you are capable of magic, But does it show Master Azura wrong, is he not a reliable Master?” ask Master Mounchi.

“No,” answered Rae breaking the silence. Master Mounchi smiled in satisfaction at Rae's reply. “I understand magic in a different way,”

“That's right,” says Master Mounchi quickly.

“Master Azura holds on to the memorization and pronunciation of spells, which I originally thought was the fastest way for you to master magic. But you hold on to understanding and meaning, that's where the mistake lies, that's how magic doesn't work for you in Azura.” Master class

“Princess Frya was right when she said you needed a delivery teacher, and a special class was the right answer to that. And this class is good for protecting you from Prince Herados. Princess Frya can't take care of you at all times because of her diplomatic duties, I think when she dragged you here she didn't think you'd attract Prince Herados of course. And again this particular class is the right answer to that problem.”

“Eh,”

“Go to the east tower, and come back here with Denzel and Zeine,” Master Mounchi said a moment later, with doubtful firmness as if he had found a resolution to this problem, not sure if his decision was correct.

“Sorry Master?” asked Rae surprised.

“You didn't hear me Rae?” ask Master Mounchi.

“No, yes...” said Rae quickly, hurrying out. A second ago he thought Master Mounchi would punish him by doing something, but he didn't expect him to just be asked to find Denzel and Prince Zeine. She vaguely remembered the boy she had met when she first came to the snitchoplace, who had seen him beaten up by Herados some time ago, damn it.

Rae finds Frya at the door.

“You're here? The prince of darkness has gone?” Rae goes looking for Herados.

“She's gone,”

“She likes to get me in trouble,” grumbled Rae.

“You're going where Rae” asked Frya when Rae didn't turn to the right wing where their hostel was.

“To the east tower, Master Mounchi told me to find your friend remember, denzel, and prince Zeine. Too many Princes here,” complained Rae.

“Why did Master Mounchi tell you to look for denzel?” ask Frya curiously.

“Come,” suddenly Rae realized, she hadn't thought about it before. And now he's thinking about it. “Why do you think?” ask Rae.

Frya snorted in response.

“They're there?” replied Frya calmly.

“How do you know?” Frya returned just shrugging her shoulders.

“Master Mounchi put me in a special class,” Rae said.

“Ah... that explains why you were told to look for denzel.”

“Why?”

“Denzel and prince Zeine are one of the special class members,” replied Frya.

“Indeed what is the difference of special class?”

“Actually I didn't expect Mounchi to put you in a special class, I was hoping you'd be given a new Master. But special class, I think good for you, it's elite class.”

“Really?” ask Rae to shine.

“Ya there is a special selection to be able to enter. Many signed up and did not qualify,”

“Really?” Rae feels special. “What are the qualifications?” ask Rae.

“I'm not sure, but Denzel is quite proficient in all things, the art of swordplay, archery, magic. Prince Zeine, I think he got special training anyway, I don't know the other members yet, so maybe his qualifications are the same.” Rae looked at Frya horrified.

“You are sure Master Mounchi told me to go in there really just to keep me away from Herados.”

“Maybe,” said Frya grinned. It seemed like the elf couldn't bear to not stain Rae.

They arrived at the north tower, there were only two doors in the north tower, Frya pointed to the one facing the stairs, Rae looked at him uncertainly.

“You sure this door?” ask Rae. “It looks like the stairs are quite high, very high even.”

“There is only one room in the east tower, up there,” Frya said as she pointed up. “You want to go up or not?” ask Frya impatiently.

Rae sighed, “ayo we finish,” and then start climbing the stairs one by one.

“Gosh this tower is so high,” Rae feels her thighs getting hot. Frya was just grinning beside him. They stopped at a door made of wood, looking very ordinary with a large ring-shaped staircase handle. Rae.

“Locked,” Rae said when she pulled it. “With magic,” Rae added with interest.

“You can tap it,” Frya's suggestion.

Rae flirted at Frya, “and where is the excitement,” he said ignorantly. He put his hand to the door, and began to cast spells. Stripped his middle finger with his thumb at several points, leaving a blue flame in each flick. The fire propagated as if there was a layer of oil, burning the entire surface of the door quickly, and leaving no burn marks.

Frya looked at him in awe, “where did you learn it?” tanyakanya.

“In the magic book I found in the room,” said Rae lightly.

“Ah..”

Rae knocked on the door three times before opening it. His hands trembled slightly when he did so. The magic he does is powerful, but not enough

“You tapped it?” frya said she couldn't believe it.

“Soluteness,” answered Rae while pushing the door handle. The door swung open.
