Practicing Doesn't Always Make Perfect

The next day,

Rae goes back to doing the roaring in the morning, learning magic with Master Azura who once again does not make much progress on Rae's bewitching abilities. He had lunch alone, Rae told him today he couldn't help with his physical training, so Rae had to practice alone, but he didn't let Rae into the forest alone, so Rae had to learn archery without her. As a result after lunch he only practiced pulling his bow without using arrows. Rae sat cross-legged in the middle of her room floor, Fhire was busy playing with a roll of yarn in a corner of the room not far from her. Her Magic Book was open on the lap. Hand holding bow. He practiced pulling his bow before dinner.

Frya returned shortly after dinner. He takes Rae to the park outside his room.

“We will practice archery?” rae asked, his hand stroking the head of the Phire he was carrying.

“Nae, today you should practice strengthening your legs, come.” They stood under a tree in the middle of the garden. The Fhire slid down and began to explore it.

“Like this,” Frya bent, her left leg bent to the ground. He pushed his body up, his right hand reaching for the branch of a nearby tree. He glided smoothly, he used twigs to spin, jumped smoothly, and landed on the right foot first on the same branch.

Rae looked at him skeptic.

“Come, Rae!” persuade Frya.

Rae did as Frya had example, bending over with her legs bent to the ground. Rae glided, but before her hand touched the branch of a nearby tree, her thrust had defeated gravity. Rae fell down and landed gracefully on the ground.

“How can you do it and look so easy,” asked Rae. after trying so many times and not succeeding.

“Practice,” replied Frya briefly. He slid down. Rae threw her skepticical gaze.

Frya thrust her hand, “Let's repeat again.”

“While training her to be a princess monkey?” herados suddenly appeared. Approaching Rae with her intoxicating smile. “she has a human body, weak like an ant, her muscles will not be able to push her body up to the branches even the lowest.” Herados took Rae's hand. “easily broken like a twig.” The Phire descended from the branch where he climbed and hissed at Herados. For a split second Rae believed Herados was capable of doing it and would do it. But Herados smiled and let go of his hand instantly. Rae looked at Frya and saw the light elf looking at Herados warily.

Rae stands up, “of course I will be able to do it!” rae said firmly.

“Yes of course, keep dreaming hybrid,” said the prince of darkness. Waving his ladder. Reloyed away.

Rae stared at the departure of the prince of darkness in amazement, “What the fuck was, for a second I almost believed he would actually break my hand.”

“The dark prince's attention to you is starting to make me restless,” said Frya briefly.

“Ah.” Rae sighed in annoyance. “Will I prove that I can grab that branch.and the branch after it.” Rae stared at the branch where they were training, the height of the branch was two meters above her, Rae's guts shriveled at her.

Rae bowed and glided as Frya commanded. More determined than ever. He should be able to reach the first branch. Once, twice, three times Rae failed to do so, she fell on her hands, her legs sprained, her forefeet bruised and abrasive. And every time his wound was healed by his magic. The pain rained down on her body, but Rae kept trying.

The next day,

Rae goes back to doing the roaring in the morning, learning magic with Master Azura who once again does not make much progress on Rae's conjuring abilities anymore.

After lunch he went with Frya to the forest to practice archery.

There was no Herados, and the firing range was two metres longer, and he was firing more and more on target.

Rae goes back to doing the roaring in the morning, learning magic with Master Azura who once again does not make much progress on Rae's conjuring abilities anymore.

Time and time again, between Rae practicing archery or Frya just training her body agility. At least when Rae trained with Frya she made a lot of progress.

And that was how time passed for a few moments for Rae.

Practicing magic with Master Azura frustrated him, the spell did not work for Rae. Somehow the magic he produced was not the same as the spell he spoke. Several times he made an explosion that scorched Master Azura's clothes. And every day Rae would see a sense of tiredness and disappointment in the eyes of master Azura.

“Precise speech produces the right magic anyway, that” is always in the speech of Master Azura with annoyance whenever Rae fails to do magic.

Rae always felt frustrated whenever she would and finished practicing magic with Master Azura. Every morning Rae knocks on her office door and finds Master Azura's bored face, Rae feels Master Azura is overwhelmed by their meeting. Rae also wishes she was able to perform magic as easily as cast spells and bombs. After a while Rae stopped telling Frya about the difficulty of learning magic from Master Azura. He felt that it was unfair to blame the Azura master, because Master Azura was very skilled in magic, the award boards hanging on the wall behind his desk proved.

But on the other hand, Rae is able to master the magic she learned from her old book. Light magic like a barrier, although the magic drained his strength he managed to make a barrier. Barrier is strong enough. And several times he can try to shape the water, become the shape he wants, or manipulate the air to move as he wants.

Today was the day that Rae had to practice agility, she was still unable to catapult her body high, but she was getting stronger and stronger by the day. After dinner Rae began to jump under the lowest tree branches. Frya hasn't come back yet, she's alone in that handsome.

He recalled the words Herados said when he first practiced. “He has a human body, weak as an ant, his muscles will not be able to push his body up to the branch even the lowest,” without strong thrust his hands will not reach the lowest branch. Just like he's doing right now.

Therefore he had to give another thrust, a thrust beyond his muscles, because he was human, hence he had to find a way, he could manipulate the air around him, he could manipulate the air around him, being a tampoline to his feet then with air he can push his body. But how.

Rae took a few steps back.

“Because follow my mind command,” he whispered, Rae felt the air vibrate, Rae ran, then imagined the air at the point where she would jump to be elastic. To Rae's surprise feeling her legs bounce off once she trails empty air, her body hurtling upwards, Rae imagines the air around her pushing her up even more, and she manages to leap over the lowest branch steadily upwards beyond the two branches. His hand reached for the next branch, then just as Frya did she used the branch to spin, she succeeded, she could feel her breath start to sting. Legs retracing. No!!! Rae can feel her legs slipping from the branches. Damnit.

He rolled up and wrapped his body in air, reducing his thrust. And glide without pain.

“RAE!” Rae. Frya stood at the entrance gate to the garden, looking stiff like a plank.

“I succeeded,” said while grinning, she could feel her body a little helpless.

“Not that's our workout goal!” frya said firmly. Rae flinched, she only realized that Frya was yelling not out of worry but anger.

“A..”

“The goal is to make your body stronger, more agile, using magic will not help strengthen your body,” Frya is really angry, this is the first time Frya is angry with him. Even his failure did not anger him. Rae feels guilty, and she doesn't.

“But Fry, I have a reason. Look, I.. I'm human, okay a hybrid,” errat lae when she sees Frya's eyes rounded. “But this body,” Rae stretches hands. “This body is Human, this Muscle, this bone, this is human muscle.” Rae patted her calf. “You cannot expect my body to be as strong as you or even the weakest Ljosaflar. Without magic I'm just a human being, and I've never had any training, I've only been practicing these few weeks fry. Therefore I will not reach that branch without the help of magic at all.”

Frya breathed in. A few moments they both fell silent.
