Chapter 159: Killing the Thorny Black Leopard
The Thorny Black Leopard stepped slowly and orderly without any rush at all, it had high confidence in facing the strange iron creature in front of it that had no threat whatsoever.
His confidence was not without reason, as he himself went through endless battles to be able to rule this area and become King.
Every time he took a step, the thorns on his body would light up and give off an electric shock that was connected to each other. Then a strong magnetic field is formed, affecting the metals around including iron sand mixed with soil.
The affected iron sand began to form sharp spines that corresponded to the thorns on his body. With a bang on the front right leg, all the spines made of iron sand shot out at the speed of sound until they created a sonic wave.
Fan Chen knew of the actions taken by the Thorny Black Leopard, and there was no way he could sit sweetly waiting for the attack to come about him. He pressed one of the buttons on the shield he was holding, making the shield give off an irregular flash of lightning and a magnetic field with greater force was formed.
The iron sand that had originally shot out, suddenly its speed slowed down at a speed that could be seen by the naked eye, until it finally floated in the air as if there was an invisible hand grasping it.
Fan Chen took out a similar shield and activated it, creating a magnetic field that could be controlled freely. Surely he handed that control over to Xiaochu to make it easier, so that he could attack the Thorny Black Leopard freely.
The HK-80KAH-EP armor itself does not have a metal that can be pulled by a magnet, everything has been maximized well, even until the circuit board uses the best materials including transistors and so on.
Fan Chen stomped his right foot, then he shot out at a speed that was faster than the leopard's attack speed. His speed earlier created a sonic wave that shattered the ground under his feet earlier as a foothold.
In the blink of an eye, Fan Chen appeared in front of the leopard. He changed his position while flying, he used his right foot to kick the leopard's front leg.
The Thorny Black Leopard was unprepared for a counterattack, so he took the attack for granted, making it throw very quickly like a bullet projectile and hit the ruins.
Boom up!
The ruins exploded, scattering the debris of the building in all directions and leaving a hole in the middle with the Thorny Black Leopard lying there.
Fan Xiaoyu had already flown in before her brother attacked, so she immediately shot down towards the lying leopard. He stretched out one of his hands, tightly grasping the thorn that was flowing electricity. He used an Ion Shooting Machine, broke a leopard's thorn.
The Thorny Black Leopard let out a furious and aching roar when the thorn that was used to store some of its strength was broken. His yellow eyes turned red, and the electric shock in his body strengthened.
Fan Xiaoyu retreated away while releasing a pen-sized rocket-propelled grenade.
Whoooooooshes! Boom up! Duarr!
The grenade shot through the air with a smoke tail on its back, and when it hit the leopard, it resulted in a loud explosion that blew away the leopard.
Yet that was not all, the front of the rocket-propelled grenade stuck to the leopard skin, and after the set time counted down, it let out a flame that blazed with another loud explosion.
This countdown time itself is set shortly after the grenade is launched, and will be set automatically.
The leopard's body was covered with flaming eyes, but he did not suffer too many burns. He stood up again, walking away from the flames. His red eyes stared intently at Fan Xiaoyu, then locked onto Fan Chen.
He felt the greatest threat was in Fan Chen, and he had to finish it first from him.
The Thorny Black Leopard mobilized all of its strength very quickly, and it could be seen a wisp of electricity forming in its open mouth.
Fan Chen saw this, and he knew he did not have enough time to stop it. He took out two steel poles made of titanium and graphene; placing them on the left and right sides of his front.
Whoooooooshes!
The leopard unleashed an attack, and this time it was not an electrical attack, but rather a plasma beam with a temperature of 3,000° Celsius.
Bang out!
The attacks and defenses met, resulting in a deafening loud bang. The plasma attack was divided in four different directions: left and right, up and down.
This attack lasted a few seconds, and although the sunlight was very hot in the sky, but the plasma rays were brighter to the point of making the surrounding area fainter.
When the attack began to dim and shrink until it finally disappeared, in front of the plasma wall, a very deep trench was formed accompanied by melted sand and some of it again crystallized like glass.
As the plasma beam disappeared, Fan Chen had also already carried the EMG-20KA-150KV in his hands at full capacity. He removed the plasma wall in front of him, then pulled the trigger.
The compressed electrical energy completely shot out at the speed of light, making it unavoidable to the Thorny Black Leopard despite its quick reflexes.
Boom up!
A louder explosion was created when artificial lightning struck the Thorny Black Leopard, even though it had the ability of lightning to create a plasma beam, but under such an attack, it was possible to do so, the leopard was seriously injured.
Katerina, Jia Fefei and He Peiyu unleashed the same attack using EMG-20KA-150KV, so another explosion came back and the resulting impact for the leopard was more severe.
The ground exploded, scattering large amounts of land in all directions. Smoke mixed with dust well into the sky, and there was faintly a scent of blood spreading in the air.
Fan Chen came at the soaring smoke, he let out a strong gust of wind from the Ion Pushing Machine, making the thick smoke go away and disappear.
The Thorny Black Leopard was lying within the hole, although it could still survive the attack, but it was on the verge of death. His body was severely injured, especially the thorns on his body which were both weapons as well as his weakness.
Fan Chen took out the Glock 17 and opened fire, but all the bullets were reflected. Then he used the DX-5 Ravager, and the result was the same, leopard skin like solid metal. Then he used artillery, and the result was the same even though the artillery had projectiles along the arms.
"The data we have is still incomplete. The Sixth level could withstand it, and it was said the Sixth level could also withstand nukes. But the Eighth level Anglerfish was seriously injured, it seemed, every mutant beast had its own weaknesses, and that was independent of its level."
Fan Chen took out a special laser pipe, which he usually used to cut through thick metal.
A thin red ray as thin as hair appeared, it hit the stone and instantly split it apart. Fan Chen directed him slowly past the neck of the Thorny Black Leopard, he did not directly slash at it, but rather moved slowly to see how it reacted.
"Ghaahhh!" The Thorny Black Leopard was furious, its eyes staring coldly at Fan Chen despite bleeding.
Fan Chen ignored those gazes, he just did what he wanted to do. "The thorns in his body can store energy, it's like a battery, and the durability is decent. Is it possible to make Bio-Technology Batteries? If possible, it would be amazing."
Fan Xiaoyu sighed and said, "Sister started again, he is now like a mad researcher. Yu'er doesn't like this, Yu'er doesn't like Big Brother being a crazy researcher with a bald head!"
Fan Chen was so focused on collecting data, that he did not hear what his sister had to say. Even if he heard it, he did not blame it, and he would still conduct research and gather data.
This data was indispensable for future weapon adjustments in order for each level of mutant beast to have a weapon capable of killing it once attacked. He knew the enemy he faced would be more dangerous than the threat on Earth now, and perhaps the Plasma Cannon still useful on Earth, would be a toy while fighting in space.
