Anila For Anala

Anila For Anala
CHAPTER 41 - EMOTIONAL THERAPY

The next second was an agonizing second for Anila. Preparing to meet with Ranala is the same as preparing to make a big presentation. Maybe the situation is not this stretch if there is no Mami let alone Papi. Anila just didn't want to add to the burden of Papi's mind seeing the obvious disharmony in plain sight. Moreover, Papi's health condition is increasingly declining due to blood cancer suffered.

Many times Anila took a deep breath and exhaled slowly in order to normalize her irregular heartbeat. Sometimes it's too fast, sometimes it's like it stops beating. Everything's all fucked up.

"Assalamu'alaikum," greeting the voice of the baritone along with the sound of the door opening.

For a moment Anila stopped breathing hearing a familiar sound to her eardrum. There is a longing as well as pain that infiltrates into his chest. However, his pain was more domineering, making Anila reluctant to just be suave.

"Wa'alaikumsalam," Anila answered forcedly, given the obligation to answer the greeting. "I woke up Papi first" continued the woman with a rectangular black veil tied to the neck. Currently dodging is better for his heart condition. The heart clearly needs adjustments to be invited to cooperate.

Ranala nodded slowly as she continued to watch her back walk away, before even realizing Anila's change in appearance since they last met in front of Papi's house a few days ago.

"Rana, Papi's son. Have you seen Anila?" papi's greeting was greeted with a helping hand Ranala grasped the middle-aged man's right hand. While on Papi's left arm is still circular Anila's hand that trains Papi since coming out of the room.

"Already, Pi," replied Ranala immediately turned her eyes to the woman who was beside Papi.

Anila who realized her every move followed by the Neutra Ranala began to be caught off guard. He dared to return the gaze as sharp as he could. What look-look? inner Anila. Anila gave up, free face-to-face will not distract Ranala. "Anila prepare the food first, yes, Pi," Anila's permission was polite to Papi. "Excuse me!" he continued ketus when passing in front of Ranala first.

Anila left Papi and Ranala until they could not hear the conversation. The woman's hand in a black hood with a dark gray sweater was clenched until it turned white in color. His jaw hardened with anger. Why, anyway, it's so great. Don't you know how he treated me first? There is nothing wrong with Anila in my heart.

During the meal, Anila ate more in silence. Occasionally answer Papi's questions without chiming in with other questions. Let alone asking Ranala, there was absolutely no interest.

While Ranala only listened to Anila's exposure to the answers to Papi or Mami's questions occasionally. The atmosphere is exactly like a talk show with two hosts–Papi and Mami, along with two source names–Ranala and Anila.

"Rana, Anila," called Papi in a serious tone to the two. This time the two reacted similarly, leaving a look at each other's plates and focusing on Papi.

"Father and Mother too," this time Papi looked at Anila. Marking Father and Mother in question are both Anila's parents.

The deg! For a second, Anila's heart stopped. Father and Mother? Anila was worried that her condition and Ranala would be exposed and known to Father and Mother. The circumstances that he had been hiding for five years.

"But, Pi," cut Anila in doubt.

"This once, yeah, An. Papi please, Papi wants us to gather all. Papi has asked Anna to prepare a room for you also Father and Mother," explained Papi did not want to be interrupted.

Whahuh? Daddy and Mommy staying at Baiti Jannati–Home Sleman? How many days? During that time I had to pretend I was okay with Ranala. Wait a minute .. does that mean, I have to sleep one room as well with Ranala?

Anila's mind was getting less and less clumsy. Thinking of one roof even one room back with the man who most contributed to her heartache and change. Meeting for a while during the iftar meal was already a big energy drain. Especially if it has to be one room overnight, two nights, or even….

Aaarghs. Anila ruffled her hair while walking back and forth in the room. Can he hold back his anger for that long? All this time he had chosen to run away to avoid this anger. But this time, it was as if God wanted him to face gently with anger and trouble.

Anila knew very well, when she held back anger, her hormones adrenaline and cortisol increased constantly. This hormone increases changes in heart rate, breathing, and blood pressure. Then, metabolic changes that have the potential to damage the body's systems, such as depression and anxiety disorders. That was one of the reasons Anila had been away all this time.

Anila who is afraid to press arbitrary aimless buttons on her phone. Seeing the reaction from the work of his thumb without intending to do anything from him.

A profile picture appears, reading 'Anger Therapy with the Qur'an'. It turns out that Anila accidentally pressed the contact Ustaz Rahmat, to bring up the image used as his display picture.
