I want to wave Adelia.

In the living room, it appears that Adelia's family is with Chris. They were sitting face to face and not a single person opened their voices.

The atmosphere there was tense while Adelia sat next to Chris and lowered her head because she did not dare to look at her father who was glaring at her.

Drinks are available but no one touches it, drinks that were originally warm have become cold.

"Dad.dDaddy." Adelia tried to melt the atmosphere there but her father just glared at her.

Chris held Adelia's hand and it seemed like she had to start talking first.

"Sir Roy, I'm sorry for my impolite kindness in coming to your house."

"So you already know that you're being disrespectful!" roy Rajendra finally opened his voice.

"I know, my goal was to come here to see you and tell you about my relationship with your daughter."

"There's no need for you to tell me anymore because I already know everything from my wife" Roy replied quickly.

When his wife explained, Roy was a little surprised, it turned out that his son's business partner had a relationship with his daughter.

Not that he objected but he did not accept because that man had made his daughter want to do stupid deeds even though all that was also because of the actions of her son.

"So, where's your relationship?" ask Roy again.

"Daddy, we haven't been so long and?"

"You shut up, I don't need an answer from you!" Roy interrupted his daughter's words.

Adelia lowered her head back, she could only play her fingers because she was afraid that her father would be furious.

But even so he still had to explain the situation because he did not want Chris to bear all the risks due to his stupid actions.

"But dad?"

"Adel, I haven't scolded you because you were so stupid to jump out of a window. Do you think your life is much? If you're not dead, you're sure you're gonna break your arm or leg, don't you think about that?" roy asked with high emotion while his eyes looked at his daughter sharply.

"But it's all brother's fault for locking me up." Adelia didn't take it because she was just blamed.

"But still your actions are wrong" said his father again.

"Daddy!" Adelia did not accept it.

Why is he the one to blame? Though clearly his brother who locked himself in the room.

"Adel." Chris rubbed Adelia's hand to calm her down because she did not want Adelia to fight because she had been in contact with him.

"Chris, they always blame me when I'm not the one here." Adelia looks at Chris trying to find refuge.

"Well, but it's true what your father said. Your actions are wrong." Chris agreed with Adelia's father.

"Huh?" Adelia doesn't believe it, she thinks Chris will defend her but turns out?

Adelia turned her face back and looked annoyed, why is everyone there blaming her?

"Why do you blame me too!" Adelia's getting upset.

"I don't blame you, I'm just saying that your actions are wrong." Chris answered casually.

"That's the same as blaming me?" Adelia looked back at Chris, she was really upset that everyone was blaming her.

"Don't I tell you not to hurt yourself and trust me? But why did you even go up the window and make your hands and feet hurt without a second thought. Right your father said what if you fall down there, maybe you won't die but you'll be maimed!" answer Chris.

Adelia directly lowered her head, indeed she did that without a second thought while her family just looked at each other looking at their debates.

"All I had in mind at the time was that I wanted to get out of my room to see you, I wanted to ask you to elope because my brother didn't approve of our relationship" she said.

"You want to elope with her?" Roy stood up and looked at his daughter with emotion.

Mirna tried to calm her husband down until the middle-aged man sat back down but his eyes could not be separated from his daughter.

"The Daddy that I was thinking about was just that, if you prevent our relationship, then I'll ask him to elope" Adelia said.

Chris breathed heavily, honestly he wouldn't want to do that.

"Adel." Chris rubbed Adelia's head while Adelia looked at Chris and tried to smile at him.

"I told you I don't want to elope with you, you know why?"

Adelia just shook her head.

"Because I'm a man of principles, it's better that I get you in a good way than I do a crime that makes your family hate me and not only that, they'll be disappointed in you."

"At the time we elope, your family will hate us and remember, family is everything and I can't run anywhere anyway." Chris explained at length.

Mirna rubbed her husband's hand and the man nodded, they were very satisfied to see the attitude of Chris and his daughter was very lucky to love such a man.

Adelia just bowed lethargic, what Chris said was true.

"Sorry, I'm sorry Sean, mom and daddy." Her tears started to flow.

He should not have been reckless and believed in Chris' words, now that he regretted his stupid actions.

"Ssttt.had it, it's all happened and I'm here." Chris wiped the tears of his lover from both cheeks while Adelia nodded.

"So?" Chris immediately put on a serious face.

"Mr Roy Rajendra and Ms. Mirna Firnanda, my goal is not to come here to see your daughter and tell her about our relationship but there are other important things I want to talk to all of you about." chris said seriously.

"Say" said Roy anyway.

Chris looked at Adelia's face and smiled at her.

"I want to propose to Adelia to be my wife" she said without further ado.

"What?" Adelia was shocked.

"Aren't you going?"

Adelia's tears came back, she was very happy to hear it and of course she wanted to because Chris was very serious about being in contact with her.

"Sure I want to." Adelia hugged Chris without caring about her family.

"Hm!" Roy cleared his throat slowly.

Adelia immediately let go of her embrace and bowed in embarrassment.

"I like men who have principles like you and I also like men who don't beat around the bush like you. So when are you going to propose to my daughter?" ask Roy.

"Fastly, Mr. Roy, I will ask my parents to come and see you soon."

"Good, I like a guy like you and it seems like my daughter didn't pick the wrong one" she said.

"Thank you for accepting my good intentions."

Roy just laughed, the man asked his wife to change the cold drink on the table. The atmosphere was warm and the tension between them was gone.

Sean was also satisfied to see the attitude of Chris who was handsome, they spoke warmly and certainly that night Adelia was very happy.
