Adelia immediately got up to her feet when she saw her father and brother had returned, quickly Adelia approached the two men and expressed her intentions.

"Dad, can you cancel your intention to withdraw shares from Malik's company?"

Roy and Sean looked at each other, why did Adelia ask for such a thing? Did he forget that Laura had done such an outrageous thing to him.

"Why?" Sean was curious about his sister's request.

Sean and his father breathed heavily, what was Adelia willing to do?

"So, what have you done to make Laura Malik do this to you?" ask father.

"Come." Adelia replied pretending.

"Del, did I hear you snatched the guy she liked?"

Adelia glared at her sister's question, why did Laura say that?

"I guess Ms. Laura just misunderstood, I didn't snatch anything from her" she explained.

"Then? Laura must have had her reasons until she dared to slander you. If you really don't snatch the guy she likes and tell me why?" Sean looked at his sister sharply.

Adelia swallowed her saliva and looked nervous, how is this? Should he tell his family the truth? But he's not ready to reveal his relationship with Chris.

"Sister Sean, I think Ms. Laura is just lying to you" she said.

"Adel, do you have a boyfriend?" and asked Roy suddenly.

Adelia takes her hug off her father's neck and immediately sits beside him while all eyes are on him, waiting for an answer from Adelia.

"Hey, why are you looking at me like that?" adelia asked annoyed.

"Del, we'd like to match you up if you don't have a boyfriend yet" her father said.

Adelia was so shocked and immediately got up to her feet.

"No way, daddy's joking, right?"

"No Del, do you know that Robet likes you? So we decided we'd betroth you to her" Sean said.

"You lunatics! This is the time of Siti Nurbaya!" Adelia starts to get upset with her family.

"Del, we should have talked to you about this tomorrow when Robet came but since you're home so we'd better talk to you about it."

Mirna approached her daughter and rubbed her back gently.

"Mom, I don't want to be betrothed." she refused.

"Adel, Robet's a good, established guy. Mommy's sure she can take good care of you let alone like you."

"I don't want to, I don't like Robet's brother Sean should know about this. I consider Brother Robet like my own brother and I will not want to be betrothed to him." he refused firmly.

"Son's sister was with Ms. Laura there, it just so happened that she was looking for a partner."

"Attribute!!" Sean kicked the table in front of him.

Adelia looked at her brother filled with anger, already she said if she did not like Robet! Does his brother not understand his words?

Mirna walked over to her daughter to calm her down.

Adelia boards a taxi to get away from there, the destination is Chris' office because she knows the man is still there.
