Chapter 24 - Avoiding

Upon returning home from school, Alyssa dropped out of her class and walked to the bus stop alone. The other friends headed to the parking lot.

At the stop, Alyssa saw Abram sitting there waiting for the bus to arrive. He greets Abram and apologizes for the lie he made to Mario carrying Abram's name.

"I'm sorry, I told you we were dating. I clearly refused at that time. I feel guilty and selfish."

"No papa, I understand. You must have done it for the good of you and also Mario. Love can't be forced."

"But, I don't feel good."

"Brought in just relax. We promised to be friends. Why aren't you with Mario coming home? Are you guys still fighting?"

Alyssa took a slow breath. Then look straight ahead.

"I don't know what stage Mario is in. I still feel disappointed with him."

"Well, you better calm yourself first."

When Abram and Alyssa were chatting, from across the street Mario seemed to be calling Alyssa. But Alyssa doesn't care about it. The bus that he will be riding is already visible. When the bus was getting closer and had stopped in front of him, Alyssa immediately got on the bus and Mario had crossed with his motorcycle.

Abram who was sitting next to Alyssa kept watching Mario who was riding his motorcycle right behind the bus they were riding on.

"Alyssa, maybe you better get off at the same stop as me. Mario is still coming from behind. It seems like something important."

Abram also respected Alyssa's decision. But he still looked back. Although still not able to forget Alyssa completely, but he also salute with what Mario did. He can only pray that Alyssa and Mario will unite. Even though his heart was wounded.

On the bus, Alyssa used her earphones to listen to music. He did not even hear Mario's screams calling him from his bike, which was beside the bus.

Until the first stop, Abram dropped off and Alyssa was still focused on his activities. The bus is still traveling at moderate speed. Until the second stop was seen. Alyssa removed her earphones and started standing to get off at the second stop.

Alyssa walked on the small street leading to her home area. Mario is with him, next to him on a low-speed bike.

"Ca, up. The walk takes 8 minutes to get home. Later lo feet will pegel. I got on my bike."

"Hahah! Udah quite you always avoids me, Ca, after the declaration of my love at that time. If you don't want to accept it, no papa. I will keep trying until you accept me. I'm sure you feel the same way rich I do."

"Curtain! What a pity!"

Mario drove the bike a little faster and blocked Alyssa's path. The man got off his bike and stood beside his bike while waiting for Alyssa to be in front of him. But it turns out Alyssa instead walked to the right side in order to continue walking. Mario sighed and rode back to his bike.

Both of them arrived in front of their houses. Alyssa walked into the space without saying anything to Mario. Mario can only frown and then go into his house.

Later that night, Mario comes to Alyssa's house. He decided to teach Alyssa English. But already almost half an hour waiting, Alyssa was not seen as well. Only Alyssa's mother came alone.

"Sorry Rio, Alyssa won't see you. He also never asked to be taught English. I'm aunty forcibly."
