Alyssa & Mario: Friends Become Love

Chapter 18 - Unrequited love

After the events of the day, neither Mario nor Alyssa ever greeted each other again, even when they accidentally looked at each other, quickly the two always turned their faces away.

This made Jehana and Alfonso astonished themselves. Since then, Alyssa has never been reunited with Alfonso and Jehana, even more often with Abram.

The two friends talked to each other in the school cafeteria.

"Je, I think there's something going on with both of them. But I don't know what? Every morning when I go into class, the look on Mario's face is not happy - the happiness is even grim. He always went with Shilla."

In the school garden, Alyssa and Abram sit together while eating snacks bought by Alyssa. I don't know where Abram suddenly expressed his love for Alyssa. "Alyssa, you might be surprised to hear that. But, just so you know, I liked you since the first time we met. Do you want to be my lover?" abram said carefully.

Alyssa was silent without a word. He did not expect Abram would like his ordinary-looking self. He even felt inferior because Alyssa was not a smart student like Abram. And his heart was not for Abram. So, he was confused how to answer it. Moreover, Abram was always entertaining him, replacing Mario taught him to play basketball and listen to his complaints. He considers Abram as his friend nothing more.

Abram who understood the look of Alyssa's surprised face also smiled wryly. Actually, he knew that in Alyssa's heart there was never a name. But, the name is also a business, yes whatever he will do.

"I know who you like. But, I still feel strongly about my feelings to you. Don't answer. But, after the fact, it feels like my heart is relieved, like there is no burden on the mind. I just hope you don't feel bad and awkward about me. Let's just say that love statement you never heard at all."

Alyssa called out Abram's name with a sad look. He really does feel bad. She was like a woman playing with Abram's feelings. Even making Abram like an outlet of his heartache.

"It's enough to be my friend, I'm happy. Love does not have to have. Moreover, what is already owned is not necessarily able to survive until the end. The point is, I just don't want to avoid it. That's it, can't you?"

In the past, he usually always harassed Alyssa by giving a message or calling Alyssa to be upset and not focused. But now? He can no longer do that. It was he who broke their friendship. He was too upset and angry there was Alyssa. Though maybe what Mario really feels is jealousy that is ingrained.

At midnight, Mario sees Alyssa's room lights go out. But, strangely enough, he even heard the sound of Alyssa crying. Plus, when Mario saw the status of social media Alyssa on social media that looks sad and heartbroken. Mario becomes angry and upset because he thinks Abram is the one who makes Alyssa cry and sad.

"Well, if you're really sick with Alyssa! I will not remain silent!" mario's determination while clenching his hands.

But even so, tonight he could not do anything as usual that always calms Alyssa. Even the call from Ashilla was deliberately ignored by Mario so anxious to Alyssa.

The next day, when Abram came to class, Mario immediately pulled Abram's hand to follow him and took the man to the back shed of the school.

"What did you do to Alyssa, huh?!" mario asked with fiery emotion.

Abram was very confused by what Mario did to him. What did he do to Alyssa? Why Alyssa? Abram wondered if something bad had happened to Alyssa.

"Why is Alyssa?" asked Abram.

"Don't pretend you don't know! You've hurt Alyssa, right? You've been making him cry all night! You broke him up, huh? He likes you!"

"Wait a minute, there seems to be a misunderstanding here."

Abram was confused by what Mario said. Breaking up? Alyssa liked it? That never existed at all. But, when he wanted to tell me what really happened. Somehow he wanted to prank Mario to be honest with his own feelings.

"What misunderstanding? Quickly clear!" ask Mario who is curious.

"Gue will answer, as long as you accept my challenge to play basketball together after school. How's it?"

"OK deal! I take it."

Abram left with a meaningful smile. Whether what he does later is right or not, but whatever for the sake of seeing his loved ones smile again and happy. Kenaoa no?
