Al Kahfi Land, Depok, 2004
There is a unique and beautiful office building, which is not far from the southern end of Jakarta. The building is more suitable as a resting place, because it is tucked away in a wide expanse of pine forest valley and close to a lake. The name of the office is Al Kahfi Land.
There are two buildings here. The first building served as an office. Viewed from the viewpoint of the lake, if simplified, the shape is similar to a triangle.
This building stands on the ground with a decreased contour, so the more it leads to a lower place, the higher the building.
The architect gave a modern architectural style dominated by glass materials and form games with high difficulty, impressed to show his taste and genius. The office people call this building by the name of Triangle Office.
Across the Triangle Office, looks smaller building, office people call it by the name of Box House. The building serves as a residence for office owners, but he uses it only to work at night.
Box House minimalist style, also dominated by glass material. Because it is on a small island not far from the edge of the lake, then to reach it must pass through the bridge ala pier.
At one end of the garden of Rumah Kotak facing the Triangle Office, there is a comfortable place to sit around enjoying the beauty of the lake atmosphere. Unfortunately, no one was ever seen there.
When dark enveloped, the atmosphere of the lake in the middle of the pine forest suddenly became romantic. A row of fluorescent lights that follow the path divides the darkness of the park. Luster of light from between the wood along the bridge of the pier style displays a charming pattern of light lines.
The dominance of the Triangle Office beauty was replaced by the beauty of the Box House. His position on the island and surrounded by lake water, making it able to turn the darkness into a black canvas touched by the painter's brushstrokes.
The neat placement of hidden lights in between the geometry game is reflected in the water. The collision that presents the wave circles creates distortion, so that it is like an abstract painting that moves.
Al Kahfi Land does spoil the eyes, not only about the building, the workers are unsightly. They are like humans that we often see on television shows that uphold physical beauty. This is indeed a dream office for beauty worshipers.
A moment! That's what happens when we absorb too much beauty. The eyes become only focused on the beautiful and blur the not beautiful.
There are also a handful of workers who only rely on work ability. One whose existence looks blurry and not the object of the connoisseurs of beauty is Widi.
Paras Widi is not bad, but because the standard of this office is high, then women with the appearance of field workers and do not like to take care of themselves anyway, must be missed. Even if Widi wants to be a little self-assured, she will definitely be transformed into the most beautiful princess in the style of Cinderella story.
Cinderella's? Aye! That's a strange story about a handsome prince who wants to marry a woman if the size of his feet matches the glass shoes, no matter the grandmother.
Sorry, that means these office people must be pangling if Widi wants to dress up. Isn't Cinderella just beautiful when wearing a fairy godmother's dress? Even his mother and half-brother did not recognize him anymore. It turns out that the beautiful location is not on the face, but on the clothes.
The office people call him Mr. Erlangga, while Widi calls him Si Ucup, of course not in front of his face.
Erlangga is a high quality, unmarried, still 26 years old, but has successfully run a property business.
If the treasure, throne and face are the most important things in life, then Erlangga is indeed the figure of the prospective husband of the target for all women and prospective daughters-in-law for all parents, but if the tranquility of life is important, then please cross the name! Erlangga would not be able to give that.
This temperamental man always spreads fear, as if the form of communication style that he knows is only angry, except for people who are considered equivalent to his social status.
For Erlangga, his employees were just a collection of insignificant creatures that depended on living on him. Amazingly, it is very rare for employees here to go out to move offices.
How comfortable? Because Erlangga dared to pay high!
No wonder it is about business. Erlangga wants his employees to be able to duplicate themselves into a dandy wrapped in expensive clothes. The big paycheck was the cost of buying beautiful live mannequins for his office storefront. Don't consumers always dare to pay more for a package?
Unfortunately, the living mannequins were not able to duplicate Erlangga's work prowess, so they also became living samsaks. So to maintain a large salary, employees who are not good at work must be good at looking for collateral, no wonder the culture of licking and dropping each other feels very thick here.
Fortunately Al Kahfi Land still has a handful of employees who actually support the continuity of this company, one of them Widi. Because no longer talk about beauty, the figure of Widi so important to be told again.
Widi is the best architect who holds the main projects of the company. Despite scoring a myriad of achievements, he has absolutely no ambition to be an important person, even fearing losing his job. Therefore he closed himself off from office association and avoided contact with office officials, especially Erlangga.
The story of Erlangga's carelessness made Widi stay away from problems, so she only knew the name, without ever seeing the figure of the owner of this office.
Every corner of Widi's eyes caught the form of a stranger whom Erlangga thought was approaching, he immediately went to find a safe place. If he cannot leave, he will concentrate fully on his work so as not to attract attention. Actually Widi does not need to avoid. Erlangga himself only deigns to meet important people.
Leave Widi with her paranoid feelings. Although blurring its existence, but managed to make it far from the office conflict. He is one of the few workers who can enjoy the office in the middle of this pine forest with a sense of calm.
