AISYAH LOVE VERSE

AISYAH LOVE VERSE
Julia Gift

"Ting ting ting...!" Julia hit her glass with a spoon, "Give me attention please..." His words call for attention.

"Thank you." Julia smiled, then stood up.

"This night, I just wanna say... That this day is my birthday. And now's... I'm twenty years old. Yeaaay..." Julia clapped for herself. We who were present at the park, joined hands to applaud Julia.

"Before this dinner begins, I want to express my very big thanks, to daddy and mommy, for all the love and affection you have given me. I love you Dad, Mom..." Julia leaned towards Mr. Ballard and Mrs. Mariam, both her parents.

"I love you too honey, you're mommy's heart jewel." Myself Mentioned. Marian.

"I love you too my princess." Mr Sahut. Ballard, don't want to lose to his wife.

"Thank you very much, too, for my dear brother, my brother William. I'm sorry to bother you so much, but trust me, I love you, Will." Julia beckoned a distant kiss for William.

William smiled and waved to Julia.

"Thank you, too, for my dear aunt, Aunt Nadira. I love you Auntie." Julia gives a distant kiss to her aunt.

"Auntie loves you too Julia." Nadira's mother smiles and replies to Julia's distant kiss.

"And to all my friends who are here, Rana, Kimmy, Tata, Yana, Silva, Sam, Julio, Kevin, Ruben, David, and... Aisha. I love you all."

"okay... Now we can start dinner. Forget the diet for tonight." Said Julia, who then welcomed the laughter of us all.

Julia sat back in her chair.

"Come back to my daughter, Julia." Mr. Ballard raised his glass, and we all followed him.

We also started dinner.

There is something interesting about the birthday of Julia. And that, enough to amaze me with Julia's family.

The birthday of Julia, unlike the celebration of the bourgeois birthday in general. In my opinion, even Julia's birthday celebration is quite simple. Attend only those closest to him. Her parents, her brother, her aunt, her close friends, and me.

Actually, I'm the one who feels the most alien. In a sense, I'm not Julia's family, nor is she a close friend of Julia's. Because Julia and I can say, just met not long ago. But why am I invited to this party? Does Julia consider me a close friend? Or because of something else?

Oh right, one more plus for Julia and her family in my eyes. It's a birthday, but I don't see any tarts or birthday candles at all. Yes, there is no candle blow event like a birthday celebration in general. As it turns out, the family never celebrated a birthday or any other celebration by blowing a candle. That's because, Miss. Mariam wouldn't let it.

Apparently, Mr. Ballard before marrying Ms. Mariam, he's a Christian. When marrying Ms. Mariam, then she embraced Islam. Because Ms. Mariam, at that time, did not want to be married by Mr. Ballard, except for Mr. Ballard followed his faith, which was to embrace Islam.

Although Ms. Mariam, does not look like a devout Muslimah (red: not wearing a veil) but Ny. Mariam apparently quite understand that in Islam there is no candle blow event and so on to celebrate the birthday. And so, no tarts and candles at Julia's birthday.

I took the water in front of me, because I was done eating. At first glance, I looked again ahead, towards William. I just want to make sure of one thing.

Surely my guess.

William was enjoying a piece of pear and wine in front of him. Pierce a pear with a fruit fork, then eat it. But, his eyes remained fixed forward. Staring sharply at me.

Suddenly William stood up by raising his glass.

"Ting ting ting...!" William hit his glass with his fork earlier.

"Because everyone's done eating, now I need his attention for a minute." William said later.

"It seems like everyone here has given Julia a gift. It's not fair that I, as her brother, don't give her a present either." William looked at Julia.

Julia looked quite enthusiastic, her smile widened. He could not wait for what gift his brother would give him.

"alright... Since this gift is quite heavy if I have to lift it here, then I only brought one small piece of the gift here." William grabbed something from his pocket.

He now holds a small box, no more than the size of a palm. A small black box, with red ribbon ties on it.

"Here, get your present." William threw the little box at Julia.

Julia stood up and caught the box. He almost failed to catch her.

"I get it!" Julia held up the box.

"Open up, hope you like it." William.

"Why is this box so small?" Julia watches gifts from William. "And so light." Julia shook the box near her ear.

"Come, open up honey. We're all here so we're curious." Said Mr. Ballards.

"Okey, I'll open it now." Julia began to open the gift from her sister. He took off his ribbon, and opened the box. Immediately Julia widened her eyes looking at the contents of the box.

"Are you sure? Will?" Julia looked at William with sparkling eyes. He looks very happy.

"Yes, off course!" William from his seat.

"I got a car! I got a car! William bought me a car!" Julia took the contents inside the small gift box, which turned out to be a car key.

Julia came to William, hugging his sister from behind. "Thanks Will, you are the best!" Julia said full of excitement.

"Yes yes... You deserve it. You're 20 years old now. You're Julia, you don't have to be a hundred percent mommy. Isn't that Dad??" William looked at Mr. Ballard with a big smile.

"Yeah... Sure oes. Julia is Julia. Though I actually feel pretty forced." Mr. Ballard poked his shoulder, resigned.

"Ha ha ha..." All of us who were present laughed through the expression of Mr. Ballard's resigned face, but it looks very funny.

"So, where is my car??" Julia asked William.

"You've got the key, why don't you just try and pull the key?" William Sahut.

"Oh, yeah. Right!" Julia flicked her finger. He then pressed the car keys in his hand."

"Beep beep!" The sound of a car alarm from the garage. Julia ran to the garage.

"Oh... My car, im coming!" Screeched Julia.

"Ha ha ha..." Mr. Ballard laughs at Julia. "Julia has been good at driving cars since she was Junior High. He always wanted a car. But he only got his wish at the age of 20. So, it's only natural that he acts like that." Said Mr. Ballard with a laugh.
