A Destiny ?

William just arrived at the apartment. He just got back from the office.

William turns on his expresso machine, and makes a cup of coffee.

William opened his suit, and loosened his tie. He grabbed his cup of coffee, and sipped a little of it.

"Wow,.. Too hot." William put the cup back. The coffee is still too hot.

He grabbed the tv remote, and turned on his TV. A 120 inch wide home theater TV.

William was just sitting on the couch when suddenly his phone rang.

He grabbed his phone out of his pants pocket.

"Hmmm, um,... Julia. What else did he call me" William muttered. Then he picked up his phone.

"Hello, Julia."

"Hi Will's, man,... I need your help, please,..."

"I'm tired of Julia, I just got home from work. This afternoon I had a golf schedule. So this afternoon I'm going to sleep. Don't bother me"

"The Game on Will. I just decided Dimas, then I was almost embarrassed because I couldn't pay for my food order, and now I want to go home and not have a vehicle"

"You can call a cab."

" Oh, god ! I've called a cab, but I haven't come yet."

"Well, where are you ?"

"I'm in front of KFC, Sartika Street"

" okay. Wait for me."

William turned off his phone. Then he grabbed the keys to his car lying on the table.

He again drove his Porsche which had just been parked in the garage.

William pulled his car over. She saw Julia sitting on a garden chair on the sidewalk.

William thinks it's only Julia he picked up. It turns out William was wrong, someone was with Julia.

A girl with a simple look, wearing a veil, very graceful.

While in the car, several times William glanced at the girl through the rearview mirror.

William felt familiar with the girl's face. He felt he recognized her.

"The face,... Where have I seen him ? Who is he ? I seem to know that face very well" Bathin William. He tried to remember hard. "She's so pretty, innocent, and, uh,... I don't know. Can't explain it in words"

"I stop here" said the girl.

William glanced back at the girl through the middle rearview mirror.

The girl turned to the side of the car window, staring outwards.

"BLAYAR !" William's heart exploded.

"Yes. It's not wrong anymore. That was him. Yes, HE'S !" Bathin William was full of confidence.

"I'll drive you to the front of the house" William said before the girl opened the car door.

As soon as he arrived in front of the gate of Nadira Dormitory, the girl went down.

William returned to his car.

"Will, man,... Isn't this a coincidence ?? Turns out my new friend rented Aunt Nadira's room, Ha ha ha." Julia laughs.

"Who is Julia ? Since when do you know him ?" Ask William.

"Did I tell you earlier that I was almost ashamed of not being able to pay for food ??"

"Yes, you said that when you called me"

"He paid for my order. I don't know him at all"

"Ooooo, uh,..." William nodded.

"So, if you ask me when do I know him ? I knew him a few hours ago."

Shortly after, William arrives in front of his apartment, and turns his car around.

"My eyes go back to Will's. I don't want to stay in your apartment unless you buy me new pajamas"

"Wait Julia, I want to show you something" William said.

William went into his apartment, he went to his desk, he looked down and grabbed something from the drawer.

"What do you want to show me ?" Julia threw her body on the couch. He then grabbed the remote on the table, and turned on the TV.

William walked to the tv, then plugged a flashdisc into the TV.

He walked over to the couch and sat down next to Julia.

"Give me the TV remote"

William grabs the TV remote from Julia's hand. Then he pressed a few buttons.

"Click" The TV screen is changed.

A portrait of the hooded girl sitting staring out the side of the train window filled the 120-inch wide TV screen.

"Look" William had Julia staring at the TV screen.

"Isn't that him ?"

Julia watched the portrait of the girl on the TV screen.

"Yes, yeah,... That's it." Julia nodded her head.

"His name is Ayesha, she's a UIN student, from the city of Jogja."

"Yes, that's exactly it. I photographed it on my way home from Jogja. Six months ago."

"Looks, like,... This is indeed destiny. Now I'm sure that fate really exists."

William leaned his back against the sofa. His eyes stared unblinking at the TV screen in front of him. It was as if he still could not believe what he saw.

"Rubay,.... Yes. I fell in love with her."

"Give me the phone number." Pinta William to Julia.

"His cell phone number ? Oh, God. We forgot to exchange phone numbers"

"But didn't he rent Aunt Nadira's room ?. It seems like an easy thing, to get his phone number. You just need to get me there"

"Frightly so." William flicked his finger at Julia's idea.

"This seems like something very special. Finally my brother fell in love with a woman."

"By the way about falling in love. Aren't you in love with Julia ?. You said that when you called"

"Yes, yeah,... Dimas was a jerk. She cheated. I forgive him, but he dumped me. I have no reason to keep our relationship."

"Hmmm, um,...Looks like you're not getting a car from me. Too bad, your birthday's two weeks away." William.

"Hey Willam's. I didn't change Dimas. I just took off Dimas."

"Just the same."

"That's different William. Totally different. I promise I won't be dating again until the end of this year. I promise that."

"Hmmm, um,... I'll think about it."

"No. You gotta make sure of that. Or you won't get any information about Aisha from me." Julia smiled meaningfully.

"Ha ha ha. Looks like you're in control of the game now. Is this a threat ?."

"No. It's a deal." Julia feels like she won, because she can turn things around.

"Deal ?" Julia clenched her hands, and lifted them up to her chest.

"Deal !" William did the same.

The brothers did a boxing tos as a sign of agreement.

"Okay, now take me home." Julia.

"Just call Mommy's driver. Have him pick you up here. I'm gonna take a shower." William climbed the stairs to the top floor, towards his room.

"Villiam,..! You're this !" Julia grabs a couch cushion nearby, then throws it at William.

But apparently, the pillow was only about the handle of the stairs.

"Ha ha ha." William laughed at Julia who looked quite upset.

"I have a golf schedule this afternoon. If I take you home, Mommy's probably gonna keep me there." Said William as he continued to climb the stairs.

Julia finally pulled out her phone, then called her Mommy.

"Hi Mom"

"Julia ?" I heard Mommy Julia's voice across the phone.

"Can I have the driver pick me up ?"

"Yes, of course. Where are you ?"

"I'm in William's apartment."

"Why don't you ask Willy to drive you home ?"

Willy is William's little name. But until now, Mommy still called William as Willy.

"William wants to go play golf. He can't drive me"

"All right, wait there. The driver will pick you up soon"

"Thanks Mommy" Julia turned off her phone, and put it back in her bag.

Before long, Julia's pickup car arrives in front of William's apartment.

"William, I'm home !" Julia Exclamations.

William did not answer.

"It looks like William is taking a bath" Julia murmured.

Julia grabbed her bag from the table, then stepped out.
