AISYAH LOVE VERSE

AISYAH LOVE VERSE
Anjasmoro

Me and Nuri were both surprised.

Speechless.

It was our first time travelling on a train on our own, and had to experience many obstacles.

The Argo Wilis train that was supposed to deliver us to Jakarta, apparently suffered damage, and until now is still under repair. Even after a 2-hour delay, the Argo Wilis Train still could not leave.

The train schedule is messed up.

There are three options offered by the management of Argo Wilis Train to the passangers. That is cancelling tickets and filing returns, resetting departure or rescheduling schedules, and the last option is to keep departing by using another train or moving trains.

The three of us, me, Nuri and Tirto chose the third option offered, which is to move trains.

After being tired of waiting and busy taking care of all the administrative displacement of the train, we finally could breathe a sigh of relief.

We finally set off as well, riding the Anjasmoro Train.

A long whistle rang, signaling the train was about to depart.

The locomotive started moving.

The train cars followed behind him.

I stared out through the train window. Slowly.the train leaves the city of Jogjakarta.

The Anjasmoro train I boarded includes a new airline. The cabin is quite spacious and clean. Each row contains four seats that separate the corridors. Two on the right, and two on the left.

I sat on the right side, by the window, and Nuri next to me, on the side of the corridor. While Tirto, sat in a chair two rows behind me.

I rested my head on the back of the chair. Ah, it feels so tired.

"Aishy, I'm going to the toilet first."

"Oh, man,. Ok!"

Nuri stood up from her seat, then walked down the corridor towards the toilet that was right behind the cabin.

I looked towards the chair in the row next to me. Only one seat was placed near the window. The other seat looks empty.

The passenger sitting in the chair, carrying a camera and looking fun to aim his camera towards the outside of the window.

Looks like it was that bule guy who was eating at the table next to me ??

Oh, ooh,. Ja. Is correct. He wears a white T-shirt. Two of his blond friends sat in his front row.

The bule man suddenly turned to the right. Right at me.

I hurriedly threw my face towards the window.

Just barely!

Shortly afterwards, Nuri returned from the toilet, then returned to her seat.

I lowered the seat back a little lower. I'm breaking my back.

"Ah, this feels more comfortable."

I felt really tired, and started to get sleepy.

And I fell asleep too.

***

I woke up and blinked my eyes a few times. I looked towards the window. It looks like it is getting dark outside.

I glanced at my watch. The clock hand points at 05.50

I was asleep for almost two hours.

And now it's almost the time of Maghrib Prayer.

I looked at Nuri's chair. He also fell asleep.

Suddenly I felt like I was urinating.

"Nor,..Nuri, um,.. Wake."

I patted slowly Nuri's shoulder. Woke him.

"Eh... what?"

Nuri woke up, rubbing her eyes.

"I want a toilet. Peed kebelet."

"It's almost in Magrib's time too."

Nuri stood up from the chair and stepped aside slightly into the corridor, so that I could pass.

I rushed to the toilet. My bladder feels full. It feels like really pee-peelet.

Arriving in front of the toilet, it turns out there are 3 people standing in line.

A middle-aged man, then a pregnant woman, and, uh. The white bull-haired man sitting in a chair in line with me.

I stood beside him, taking a little distance. Want to go back to the chair also feels awkward.

Fiuuuuhh, it looks like I have to be patient and resist the feeling of pee kebelt as much as possible.

Before long the toilet door opened, and took turns people in and out of line. Middle-aged man, then pregnant woman.

Now it's just the two of us. Me and that bule guy.

The bule man looked at me, then smiled and nodded his head.

I returned his smile then hurriedly threw my face the other way.

The toilet door opened, the expectant mother came out, and walked across the two of us.

"Hey,... Please come in first." Said the bule man while swinging his palm towards the toilet door.

He allowed me to use the toilet first.

"Oh, no. You're the one who stood in line."

I felt bad to embrace him, because he was the first one in line.

"No. Its Ok's. Ladys first."

"I'm not so urgent." The bule man said convincingly.

"All right, thank you."

Hmm, it turns out that the bule man can speak using Indonesian. Justjust wonderful.

I rushed into the toilet. As soon as I got inside, I locked the door. Opening the hijab, opening the watch, then completing the hajad that I was holding.

I wash my face, and also ablaze.

When I'm done, I'll be right out.

The bule man was still standing in his place.

I nodded towards him and immediately left him.

I arrived at my seat. Nuri was back to sleep.

"Suri !"

I shook Nuri's shoulder.

Nuri opened her eyes.

"Oh. Athaghfirullah, I fell asleep again."

Nuri stood up from her chair so I could go in and sit in my chair.

"Udah maghrib Nuri, don't sleep."

"Yes." Yeah." Nuri smiled smirked.

"How long have you been to the toilet ?"

"Antre that was."

"Oh. Still in line now ?"

"If not, there's only one person left. But don't know now"

Nuri stood up and took off her talent. Then he walked to the toilet.

The bule man was seen walking in the corridor, wanting to return to his seat.

I tidied up my hijab. Then perform maghrib prayer with a sitting position.

I go under my head, and rub my face with both palms.

I saw Nuri's seat was still empty. He hasn't returned from the toilet yet.

"Hi, uh,..."

Someone standing near Nuri's chair greeted me.

I looked up to see his face.

It turned out to be that guy bule.

"Have you finished praying ?" She asked.

I nodded my head. Half was surprised, why did the bule man approach me.

"This is yours ??"

The bule man showed a woman's watch in his hand.

The watch looks just like mine. Small watch with red leather strap.

I immediately checked my left wrist. Sure enough, my watch doesn't exist. I just remembered, just now in the toilet I took it off, and put it on the washbasin table.

"That's my watch." I answered with a grim smile.

"You left it in the toilet." Said the bule man while giving my watch to me.

"Thank you."

"Yeah, you are wellcome."

The man sat back in his chair.

Nuri also returned from the toilet.

"What was that bule guy ?"

Nuri apparently had seen when the bule man spoke to me.

"He turned my watch back."

"Cog can be with him?"

"So left in the toilet."

"That bloke guy just went into the toilet after me."

"Oh,...."

"It's a good thing you know Aishy English,.." Nuri Say.

Indeed, in my class, if the most good at Arabic is Nuri, then for English, I am the star in the class.

"Shhh,..!" I put my index finger in front of my lips. He hinted at Nuri so that she would slow down her voice.

"Cowok bule was talking to me using Indonesian. He's a good Englishman"

"Oh, kereeen."

Nuri looked a little surprised. Then straighten her hijab. Then he performed the Maghrib prayer.

*In the Anjasmoro train (visual illustration)

I stared out the window. Darkened. Soupy.

"Anjasmoro." I read a little letter on the side of the train window.

Anjasmoro is a Javanese legend about a love story that did not arrive.

***

Adorable,....

Dewi Anjasmoro and Kshatriya Damar Wulan are lovers who love each other.

Once there was a war, and the Knight Damar Wulan was sent by the Queen who ruled at that time, namely Queen Kencono Wungu, to lead the army.

In order to carry out the Queen's decree, the Knight Damar Wulan was forced to leave his lover, Dewi Anjasmoro. They both split up in a lake. But, Knight Damar Wulan promised to come back for his lover.

The battle took place over the years, and was eventually won by an army led by the Knights of Damar Wulan.

Queen Kencono Wungu was very happy, and in return for the Knights of Damar Wulan, he gave the highest gift to her, namely by asking the Knights of Damar Wulan to marry her.

Queen Kencono Wungu was a very beautiful queen, so many kings and knights proposed to her, but all were rejected.

Knight Damar Wulan actually does not like Queen Kencono Wungu, because his love is only for his lover, Dewi Anjasmoro.

However, the Knight Damar Wulan was unable to refuse the Queen's order. He eventually married Queen Kencono Wungu.

Meanwhile, Dewi Anjasmoro who heard the news about her lover's marriage to the Queen, became very hurt. He went to the lake, where he was parting with his girlfriend. The last place he met his lover, the Knight Damar Wulan. In the lake, he wept for his fate. Crying love.

The lake is still there, precisely located in Jember, East Java. And the lake, too, was named

Anjasmoro Telaga.

As for the Knight Damar Wulan, he was equally injured. He thought of the fate of Goddess Anjasmoro, the lover he left behind. Knight Damar Wulan also created a poem or song for his lover.

The song is called Kidung Asmorondo, which means Song of Love. The Song of Asmorondono is preserved to this day. We can find it in the books of Javanese literature.

"Gredeck. Griddy. Griddy."

The sound of a food box pushed by the waiter.

It's time for dinner.

Oh yea,.. Actually, the train ticket I ordered, not included with dinner on the train.

However, since I moved the train, from Argo Wilis Train to Anjasmoro Train, it turned out that my ticket was upgraded with plus dinner on the train.

Alhamdulillah, summarily,..
