Khairan only became a spectator when Rangga and Aleena were busy cooking together. They were so familiar that Aleena's loose laughter sounded.

"Do I have to interrupt?" That's how his mind says.

Khairan was still standing in the doorway to the kitchen door. There was a sense of happiness when he saw Aleena like that. There was also a sense of sadness because it was not her that made Aleena cheerful anymore.
