12. Love Alone Is Wrenching

A sense of insecure began to appear in Aleena. After reading a reply to a message from Rangga he began to feel inappropriate for the adopted son of his uncle.

Axel's voice made Aleena turn. He did not respond to Axel at all until Axel sat right beside Aleena. The man who was the same age as her sister's husband was now staring in Aleena's face.

Aleena's face seemed unhappy because she felt that there was less to go alone with Khairan.

"Are you not happy?" Khairan asked Aleena when she had just arrived at the airport to leave for Japan.

"Something's less than that if it's just the two."

Khairan stopped his steps and looked towards Aleena with such a deep gaze.

"Na, why the hell didn't you give me a chance? I want us to enjoy our time together. I want to get closer to you. Ever since Axel, I've been a stranger to you."

Aleena fell silent. He is more comfortable when talking to Axel even though they have just been reunited. Not because there is a heart, Axel who is always guarding makes him feel comfortable. Khairan, he is a mood lifter who becomes carefree with his jokes that are sometimes not funny.
