Ch. 3: Black Blood

The break bell has rung. All the students rushed out of the classroom and flocked to the cafeteria. So do I. I stood up from my bench and was about to get out. Suddenly, a man came up against me. Yes ... You all know who he is.

“Ohayou, Ai-chan!" greet Rey while showing her sweet smile.

Suddenly, my cheeks turned red. I bowed so Rey wouldn't look at me.

“Hei, Ai! What's up?" he asked with a worried face.

I took a breath and tried to shake off this strange feeling. Then, I changed the position of my head to upright again.

“A-I'm fine kok hehe ...."

“Oh .. fine then." Rey's face turned to relief. Because he knew I was okay. Suddenly, Rey leaned forward. He brought his face closer to mine. "Hmm .. Are you hungry?" rey asked me.

It made my cheeks turn red again. That strange feeling re-emerged in my heart. Actually ... what happened to me. Why do I always get the wrong way around Rey?

“Hei, Ai! Why are you daydreaming?" reprimand Rey who managed to break my daydream.

“Eh is okay." I lied for the same reason.

"Oh .. So, you want it or not?" ask him again

However, after seeing Rey's face that looked so serious, I nodded in agreement. We walked together to the cafeteria like lovers.

“Ba-good ... R-Rey," I doubt it.

Rey straightened her index finger and did some sort of pointing on my forehead, saying, "Well .. I'd rather be."

Obviously it made my liver flutter. Ahhh .. Why this? Why is the sentence spoken by him earlier, so imprinted in my mind? Rey, you're so charming to me.

Meanwhile, Rey steps her foot into one of the cafeteria stalls. On top of the dish, clearly emblazoned 'ramen' which is a typical Japanese food. Apparently, Rey wants to order ramen. I kneeled him from behind.

“Bu, I ordered two ramen, yes!" rey said to the ramen-selling woman.

“Oh, okay, son." The woman then took kitchen utensils such as bowls and spoons to prepare her ramen.

Rey and I chatted while waiting for our ramen order to be ready. After quite a while, finally the long-awaited ramen had arrived. His distinctive aroma was very pronounced. Rey and I brought our own bowls of ramen.

Just as he was about to step up, Rey suddenly stopped.

“What's up, Rey?" many wonder.

“Ngg ... We want to eat this ramen where, yes?" Rey is confused to sit where to eat this ramen calmly.

My gaze combed the atmosphere of the cafeteria that was very crowded with students. Someone ate together. There are also people who are just chatting. In fact, there were several groups of students studying together.

There is hardly any room anymore. But that hardly means there is none. When I looked to the right, I found an empty dining table.

“Rey, there's an empty dining table. Come there!" take me while pointing to the empty dining table.

Rey looked in the direction my finger pointed at. “Ah, yes ... You are right. Then wait, come on!" Rey and I walked together.

When I got there, Rey and I were surprised by the view of a very dirty table. The red of ramen sauce looks to color the table in dark green.

Instead of being disgusted, however, Rey took a tissue and began wiping her desk. It amazed me. Apparently, Rey not only has a handsome face. However, Rey also likes cleanliness. Really .. I'm so fascinated with you.

I looked at Rey with a gaze full of admiration. Realizing that he was being stared at, Rey immediately acted.

“Do not look at me like that ... later if you like me, how?" Rey throws her signature fight.

Rey's words surprised me. I was stunned by the cheeks that turned red. Hhhh .. How many times have my cheeks turned red like this.

“Nahh ... finally done too." Rey has finished cleaning her desk. “Let's eat!" keep Rey, take me to eat the ramen.

“Itadakimasu!" We both said hello before we ate.

Then we immediately ate ramen which had been very tempting my sense of taste. I started sipping ramen noodles.

“Woaaa .. sugoiii ...! The ramen is so good .. I really like it," I commend to appreciate this delicious ramen.

“You are right .. This ramen is very tasty .... I really like ...!" suhut Rey who also said that ramen is delicious.

We both enjoyed this delicious meal.

"Gochisosomah!" we both said, indicating that we had finished eating.

“The food is really good!" praise me once more.

“You're right ... uh wait a minute!" Suddenly Rey looked me in the face seriously.

“Ke-why, Rey?" many confused.

Rey didn't answer my question. He just took out a tissue and gently rubbed the area around my lips.

“On your lips there are ramen marks. Let me clean it up, yeah!" Rey is still focused on cleaning my lips which she says have ramen sauce.

I just fell silent, letting Rey clean my lips.

“Ok already," Rey said with a smile.

“Arigatou!" I thank Rey.

“Iya .. same." Rey smiled kindly.

Since we finished eating ramen— we both decided to go back to class. Anyway, the break will be over soon.

“Bu, I ate two ramen. So, how much total?" Rey asked the middle-aged woman a ramen seller.

“One ramen costs 1000 yen, son." The mother explained the price of ramen.

“What?! A-a thousand?!" I was surprised to find out that ramen turned out to have an expensive price. Yes ... For me 1000 yen is an expensive price. My money's not enough.

Rey reached into his pocket and took his wallet which looked very shiny and leather-based. Rey opened her wallet and took out a 2,000 yen note.

“This, Mom!" Rey gave the money to pay for the ramen we had eaten earlier.

“Arigatou Gozaimazu!" The ramen-selling woman received Rey's money.

“Rey .. I'm sorry for bothering you," I said.

“Why are you apologizing? I'm the one who invited you, so I'm the one who has to pay for it, too" said Rey, who wanted to convince me.

“Ta-tapi—"

“Sstt ... don't think about it anymore! Let's go back to class!" Rey pulled my hand while walking towards the classroom.

We became the center of attention for the disciples again.

“Eh they are very harmonious, yes," praised a student whispering.

“Iya .. isn't the man a new student here. Said he was in 1-F." The other students were also whispering.

“Hei, Reina! Look that! The man you were talking about, is now making out with another girl. And the worse ...he is Ai the snot boy!" said Shouko, one of the members of 'Black Blood'.

Black Blood was a group of five girls who were always oppressing, threatening, and judging the students. If they want to, they will. No one dared to approach them.

“Hmm ... We'll teach him a lesson!" Reina Miyamoto smiled cynically, it seems that she was planning something bad for me.
