AFTER YOU GO ~Story About Farrel~
A LONGING THAT IS MOUNTING

Farrel saw a deep stroke of sadness on Mr. Subagyo's face. Was his choice to say what he knew the right choice?

What if this would only create false hopes for Mr Subagyo?

Farrell was very confused.

"Why are you suddenly asking about Fahira's brother, Rel?"

Farrel was made excited he became nervous about his worries and then led him to look at Pak Subagyo sure.

"I've seen people who look so much like Fahira, not look! I even know him."

Mr. Subagyo looked at Farrel questioningly.

"I'm sorry if I was presumptuous, but when I saw Fahira. I really like seeing him."

"Where's Nak? Where did you meet Jahira?" Mr. Subagyo now holds Farrel's hand expectantly.

"Jeez?" ask Farrel.

Mr. Subagyo nodded his eyes radiating hope that decades of this forced him to be quiet.

Farrel felt bad again. "But his name is Hanun."

Mr. Subagyo increasingly raised his head he demanded more clarity.

"What do you mean Raihanun?"

Farrel looked at Mr. Subagyo, "yes ... All I know is his name is Raihanun."

Mr. Subagyo gripped Farrel's arm, his current feelings between happy and also curious.

"Raihanun Jahira, Papa's wife who gave the unique name. Papa named the other one Rihanna Fahira. Back then Papa had to rack his brain to look for a name similar to their mother's giving."

"Where's Nak? Tell Papa! Where is Jahira?" Mr. Subagyo began to urge his desire to get out of control. He wanted to make sure to himself that it was really his son.

"He's in Jogja."

"So far it ... Jahira went that far?" Mr. Subagyo again drifted in grief he could not imagine how his little daughter's life was alone.

"Papa Nak's Attort! Take Papa to see Jahira!" Mr. Subagyo got up and urged Farrel to accompany him. Farrel also agreed that this might be the best way to ascertain the truth.

Farrel did not care about the condition of his body that was very tired. Farrell just wants to know the truth. If this is true, then God has predestined it. Qada and qadar are inevitable to every human being on earth.

That night also Mr. Subagyo and Farrel accompanied by a personal assistant Pak Subagyo went to Jogja. They choose to use the air route to get to Jogja faster.

On the plane, Mr. Subagyo was anxious about what he would face. He feels very happy if it is his son.

While Farrel who was sitting next to him had been feeling cold, his entire body was crumbling. Looks like Farrel's body started to weaken due to disability in the last few weeks.

During his time in Jogja he was busy with work and now he has to go back and forth out the area two days in a row.

*

About an hour and twelve minutes passed, the plane landed at Adisudjipto International Airport. Farrel, Pak Subagyo and his assistant named Yunus rushed to find a taxi.

They boarded the four-wheeled transportation mode to Hanun's house.

"You sure Jahira's home, son?" ask Mr. Subagyo.

"It looks like there is, Pa. He worked in a bookstore only until five in the afternoon." Farrell answered with facts he knew.

"Well that's Hanun" pointed Farrel. When the taxi stopped not far from Hanun's rented house, Farrel saw Hanun drying clothes in a dim light.

Mr. Subagyo squinted his gaze, Mr. Subagyo could not wait to see his son. Mr. Subagyo's heart was as if it was sliced as it was when he saw his son drying his own clothes in the darkness of the night.

True that's his son, Mr. Subagyo is very sure. Her son is an identical twin who has almost a hundred percent resemblance. They were almost indistinguishable, but Mr. Subagyo had his own way of distinguishing them. Especially now, Fahira and Hanun have been separated for so long that the difference between them can be seen.

Although their faces are the same but now Hanun's skin is darker than Fahira who diligently do the treatment.

Mr. Subagyo pampered Fahira so much that Fahira did not know how to tie his shoelaces. But unlike Jahira who lives alone without guarantee from his father. Mr. Subagyo immediately cried bitterly how his heart was broken seeing this scene.

"It's my fault, Jahira has to live like this because I'm a useless father."

Farrel could not bear to see the deep sadness on his in-laws' faces. Farrel decides not to tell the life of Hanun who used to live in a rickety hut.

Farrel got off the taxi first followed by Mr. Subagyo and his assistant.

Hanun who was still busy drying clothes was unaware of Farrel's arrival.

"Assalamualaik."

Hanun stopped his movements and looked back. His face suddenly saw Farrel coming, with a flash he turned around. His smile faded slightly when he saw two unknown people coming with Farrel.

Hanun did not succeed in guessing who they were, especially when his eyes collided with Pak Subagyo who had seen him with longing.

"Can we come in?" ask Farrel.

Eh? Hanun regained his senses and nervously allowed his three guests to enter.

Do they want to pay off debt? But I have no debt.

Inner Hanun still guessed even though they were now sitting inside the house. Plastic carpets became the base they sat on. Mr. Subagyo looked around the room, he really felt like he failed to be a father. Completely failed!

It was very exciting for Pak Subagyo to hug Hanun to spill all the longing that had been mounting. But Mr. Subagyo still held him back because he did not want Hanun to be surprised.

Hanunnya is still like before, his habit of patting the back of his hand slowly he did unconsciously. Mr. Subagyo remembered the custom well.

"There's something I want to say ...." Farrel turned towards Pak Subagyo who had been staring at Hanun without blinking as if he was treating his decades of longing.

"This is Mr. Subagyo, most likely your father Nun."

Hanun flinched, it must be a dream! There was no wind there was no sudden rain alone there was a person who claimed to be his father. It's so funny.

Hanun laughed even though he did not want to laugh. "The joke is funny, Rel."

"It's not a joke, son. Papa is right your father." This time Mr. Subagyo was already unable to contain himself anymore he wanted to immediately tell Hanun.

Hanun looked at Pak Subagyo who looked teary.

"What the hell? Farrel's clear on me what's going on?" Hanun's heart began to feel bad especially when Pak Subagyo seemed to really say it.

"Actually this just happened, I discovered the fact that you are Mr. Subagyo's son."

"On what basis are you so sure?" ask Hanun.

"Because you actually have a twin brother. It is indisputable because you are indeed similar to the child who was with Mr. Subagyo." Farrel said firmly, somehow having to explain this situation to Hanun.
