After Parting Five Years

Silence again accompanied Alin and Kenzi's journey to Grandma Aulia's house. Kenzi regretted asking the wrong thing. She chose to stay in front of her grandmother's house.

So excited Grandma Aulia welcomed the presence of the great-granddaughter, she was waiting in front with a face of sumringah. In fact, the weather is very hot. Sweaty sweat is also seen adorning the wrinkled face of Grandma Aulia.

Alin and Kenzi got out of the car. Kenzi held Naufal, when the four-year-old woke up. His eyes are funny. He looked for Alin, afraid that when he woke up his mother would no longer be next to him.

"Oh my God, I already have a great-grandchild!" granny Aulia Exclamation. The frail body ran towards Naufal who was still confused in his father's arms.

Alin looked down, embarrassed to hide Naufal from Grandma Aulia. She thought, surely Grandma Aulia is very angry at him.

Alin's mind was wrong. Grandma Aulia hugged Alin's body as soon as she got near him.

"Oh my God, how heavy are you, son. Taking care and raising my own great-grandchildren without the presence of a husband figure," said Grandma Aulia accompanied by crying Isak.

Kenzi who heard that immediately turned to look at the reaction of Alin's face. Alin just smiled slightly, receiving her grandmother's warm embrace.

Alin was welcomed by Grandma Aulia. The grandmother immediately kissed the cheeks of the Naufal crab.

"I'm your great-grandmother, what's your name, sweet boy?" ask Grandma Aulia.

Naufal smiled happily. "Yeee I have a great-grandmother! I'm Naufal, Grandma. Call me Nau!" replied the boy with a passionate spirit.

"Sir, ask questions later. Let's go in first. Naufal must be thirsty, too." Kenzi gave an interruption.

But not following the words of the grandson. Aulia's grandmother hit Kenzi on the head with a stick. Kenzi, too, complained of pain.

"Based on your mischievous grandchildren, useless men. Where have you been for five years? Why are you taking my great-grandson home now, Kenzi!" granny Alin's voice was rising. Makes Kenzi feel scared and a little guilty.

"Already, Nek don't blame Kenzi alone, I'm guilty too. Come on in," Alin asked with a calm face.

"My grandson is the best. Just a stupid man who can't realize that" Grandma Aulia told Kenzi.

They entered Grandma Aulia's house. However, all this time Grandma Aulia felt lonely. Back then, when Kenzi and Alin were husband and wife. Alin always visited and stayed in this house.

Alin felt his heart throb. A feeling of complete family that has long been lost in his life.

Aulia's grandmother takes Naufal and Alin to the living room. They sit on the couch.

On the table there are many children's snacks and UH* milk favorite of children. Naufal was very happy to receive it.

"Kenzi, you take Nau to the upstairs room. Grandma had bought a lot of toys for Nau," said Grandma Aulia.

"Mom, Alin's just healed. Let Alin rest first, Grandma just had a chat, yes," persuaded Kenzi. She was actually a bit wary when leaving Grandma with Alin.

Unfortunately Grandma Aulia's attitude was so firm on Kenzi.  

"Don't set Grandma up! Take Naufal! Grandma wants to be here with Alin."

Alin could only smile at the behavior of the granddaughter's couple. "Already, Kenzi. You just follow Grandma's words," said Alin. After all, surely Grandma wanted to get an explanation from her mouth straight away.

Kenzi finally gave up. He read Naufal towards the upper room. And when it came, it was true that there were a lot of toys for Naufal.

The four-year-old was screaming, because he saw good toys that he had liked for a long time but had not bought.

In the living room, Grandma looked at Alin carefully. Alin's face was a little pale.

"Alin, now there's Naufal between you and Kenzi. Don't you want to go back to being her wife?" ask Grandma to the point.

Alin was shocked. He did not expect the thing that Grandma Aulia would ask about this.

"Miss, isn't Kenzi going to marry Laura?" 

Grandma Aulia let out a heavy sigh. Actually, compared to Laura, Grandma liked Alin more.

"Are you ready to see your son call another woman mother or mother?" ask Grandma Aulia.

Alin smiled. 'Most importantly, I am not separated from my son, Nek, ' Alin replied inwardly.

"If Kenzi could trust you more then. You can definitely live happily. Unfortunately the boy didn't want to hear the word grandma."

Aulia's grandmother is the only one who doesn't believe that Alin is cheating on her. She was sure, Alin was a good woman. 

"That's the past, Grandma. Anyway, we don't have any proof. After all, now that Naufal and I are here. Why bring up something that's been a long time?"

"Basic good boy. Yes, if so Grandma will not mean you guys to be together."

Alin nodded. He was about to catch up with Naufal and Kenzi but suddenly Laura's voice sounded from the direction of the main door.

"Grandma!" exclaim Laura. The woman ran over to Grandma Aulia and hugged Grandma Aulia. Don't forget he's cipika cipiki. It looks very close and familiar.

"Grandma's seen that handsome boy, right? Naufal is so sweet, right? I looked after her a few days ago when she had just finished surgery," Laura explained, as if to explain that she was ready to be a connecting mother to Naufal.

Alin who heard Laura's words was a little uncomfortable in her heart. When Naufal finished the operation? Back then, had Naufal not asked for his presence? Alin wondered.

"Kenzi and Naufal are on top. Let them rest. You just go home," Grandma Aulia replied without keeping any feelings for Laura.

Laura pouted hearing the answer from the old woman in front of her. 

"I miss that kid, Grandma. She must be missing me too!" exclaim Laura. He immediately ran to the second floor. Leaving Alin who was standing on the stairs.

Alin turned towards Grandma Aulia.

"Miss, that's .. I want to rest. Which room is it?" she was nervous and embarrassed.

Alin felt, he was nobody in this house.

"The usual room, Alin. One more thing, don't take Laura's bullshit. She seems to just want to make you sad" said Grandma Aulia who understood Alin's facial expression.

Alin only smiled slightly then walked towards the room that he usually used to stay over first.

Arriving at the room, Alin's cries broke. He could pretend to be strong in front of Grandma, Naufal, even Kenzi. But when alone, he was very fragile.

"Lord, am I able to see my son living together with other women as a mother?" ask Alin. Until now, Alin had no idea that Kenzi had canceled his wedding plans with Laura.
