After taking a bath, he dried his body and stood in front of the mirror. He used a hair dryer to dry his hair, when he wanted to wear clothes he only realized that he entered completely naked and did not bring any clothes. She had to roll herself up in a white bathrobe provided by the hotel.

After coming out of the bathroom, he was shocked by the sight before him. Lucas stood naked in front of a long mirror hanging on the wall, facing away from him. He turned his head back, frowning as he examined his own back.

Jennifer's confused. "Your body is good, but is it necessary to really adore yourself naked in the morning like this?"

Unable to stand it anymore, he asked, "Why aren't you wearing clothes?"

Lucas threw a glance at Jennifer, then turned to show her back, her mood was not good. "Are you a cat?" he said with a cynical tone.

His white back was filled with long and thin scars, marked by numerous blood stains from the nail claw. It looks pretty awful, resembling a cat's stealth work indeed.

Jennifer, feeling a bit embarrassed, said, "What if you put your clothes on first?"

"I want to take a shower" Lucas replied without turning his head, walking towards the bathroom while tightly closing the door.

Jennifer stared at the closed bathroom door, feeling a little surprised. "What happened to this guy? Why is he more pouting than the Hulk?"

Not everything seems to go smoothly in life, often not even.

He sighed at his life, then started wearing clothes. First, she wears lingerie, then a beige sweater, followed by blue jeans. Finally, he sat on the edge of the bed to put on his boots.

He'll be home soon to pick up the remaining items.

Jennifer looked at Whatsapp, feeling increasingly upset. Eyebrows snarling.

Right now, he had no desire to interact with Dion, let alone be in the same room as her, even if it was only for five minutes. All of this was because he had yet to make it through the barriers in his heart.

Ten years of marriage is not easily forgotten.

All he wanted now was to not have any contact with Dion for the rest of his life.

He has not blocked Dion from Whatsapp solely because the divorce process is too complicated, requiring communication and negotiation. If not for that, he would have long since blocked it.

Jennifer replied to the message, saying: [You don't have to come, I haven't finished cleaning your stuff. When you're done, I'll send it.]

He had been away for several days attending an academic exchange conference and this time went home.

Jennifer lifted her head and stared at the glazed wall, looking at the blurry figure inside the bathroom. An immature thought came to his mind.

After Lucas finished his bath, he simply wrapped a white towel around his waist and immediately saw Jennifer standing at the door with a smile on her face.

She's surprised. "What are you doing?"

After a moment of hesitation, Jennifer pleaded, "May you do one little favor for me?"

Lucas looked at him sharply and briefly replied, "No." As such, she left the bathroom, seemingly unaware of Jennifer standing at the entrance.

Jennifer chased behind her and said, "I wouldn't ask for help if I had other options. My ex-husband came home today to get his things, but I don't want to be alone with him. So, I thought maybe you could come with me, just for five minutes at my house. Once he's done picking up his stuff, I won't bother you anymore."

Lucas turned his head, his expression emotionless as he looked at her. "Why should I help you? Are we familiar or what?"

Jennifer stubbornly replied, "Well, we're not strangers, are we?"

Lucas paused for a moment, then asked curiously, "Have you had a very unpleasant time with your ex-husband?"

He is not a person who likes to interfere or is interested in the personal lives of his friends, but because he offers help, he needs to understand the reason behind this situation.

Jennifer understood that she could not expect someone to help her without explaining the situation clearly. After hesitating for a moment, she sighed and said in a soft voice, "She cheated, the woman is even pregnant. I don't want to see her at all."

Suddenly, Lucas felt a bit of sympathy for this woman.

No wonder he was so agitated last night, like an unruly wild horse.
