[2 August 2011 - 17:40]
Justin and Akiko have finished setting up a special tent for girls. The tent we use is ultralight type with a weight of about 1.5 kg, and 2.5 kg for men's tents because it is larger. Light, yet still sturdy and stable. The design is simple with one door and one window. Even so it is quite breathable and cool thanks to its water cooling technology. Plus the net material is also anti-mosquito.
"Sarin!" call Yukiko, make my steps stop. "Do you want to help me find a twig?"
"Hm. Of course."
Kutemani Yukiko looking for dry twigs and branches. Akiko and Justin joined in. We need a lot of twigs to make a campfire that can give a feeling of warmth overnight. While Toru was cleaning the weeds and making a small trench around the tent, as watering if suddenly rain fell.
The pleasant cooperation between us, is the best way to create a comfortable lodging as possible. But I feel like there is less. Kouga is always in our midst. Carry royong together while controlling and giving directions. Not forgetting to shout out the spirit as well. Yeah, we haven't had a chance to talk since we made it out of the labyrinth. And until now I haven't seen the trunk of his nose.
I approached Toru who was about to enter the tent, “Do you know where Kouga is?”
"With water in the river. Seems not back yet. Not so far from here. You can see his position on the radar."
The treatment of the two goddesses on Natsu and Kouga while in the labyrinth, makes me unable to care. Moreover, Natsu's shoulder until sprained, I have to make sure also the condition of Kouga.
With flashlights, radar, and earphones, I went down a slightly rocky path. I've been in contact many times, but Kouga hasn't answered my call. The sunlight began to decrease and become dimmer. Although I previously thought there was no need to be accompanied because the distance was close enough, but honestly, I did not want to linger alone.
The sound of water rushing through the rock crevice was increasingly clear, enough to dispel the silence around me. I could faintly see someone at a distance of approximately 7 meters from my current position. I pulled the flashlight towards him. There was no sign of movement he looked.
A man was sitting on a large rock beside a river, holding a branch of a tree, with the end tied to a sharp object like a knife. His right hand prepared to launch that spear-like device. I don't know what he's after, I want to know too.
“Kouga?” call me to make sure as I get closer.
Someone looked back, “Night is almost here, why are you here?" reply that person who is none other than Kouga. The question and aura surrounding him carried a coldness that grabbed my body, as if this self-existence had interfered with his personal time. Or just my feelings? Maybe a splash of river water at the end of this twilight, which lowers my ambient temperature.
“I heard from Toru, you took the water and have not returned, so .. I caught up with you." I replied carefully as I glanced curiously with the spear in Kouga's hand.
Kouga showed me his spear in front of me. "Just want to find dinner." He shifted position, provided a place for me, so that he could sit on a big rock with him.
Kouga's welcome hand to help me get on the rock. "Thank you."
“Sorry not to answer your call, I tried to focus on catching something behind that rock.” His hand pointed to the rock crevice at the bottom of this fairly shallow river, right in front of us.
“A-I'm the one who should apologize for interrupting!”
Kouga again watched the movements of the target fish that were seen peering from the rock crevice. He told me to turn off the flashlight I was carrying, because the light of the lamp could disturb the fish. Apparently, without the help of light I could still see the poor fish.
Kouga's eyes continued to aim. His hands and spear were back in preparation. This small river, perhaps more precisely the spring that passed through the rocks, flowed quite profusely. The water is also fresh and very clear.
“Thank God, you're fine.” I whispered slowly without wanting to surprise the target.
Sloupp!
Kouga quickly launched his spear. “You think so, huh?” For a moment his face turned towards me, then looked back at his target.
Kouga's words shook my gaze, which had previously seemed enthusiastic and curious, with his way of finding dinner. “Ma-I mean you're hurt? That goddess hurt you??”
Kouga raised his spear, ejecting it from the water. Her lips revealed a thin smile that felt hollow. Fire the right one, the tip of the spear penetrates the body part near the head of a medium-sized freshwater fish. It probably weighs about 300 grams.
“You're worried about me?” kouga asked without giving me time to answer. He first thrust the spear and the fish that was still stuck at the end of it, to me. Without waiting for my answer to his question, he immediately jumped down from the stone.
“Where are you going?” I was in a hurry after Kouga jumped. He did not answer. He picked up two empty bottles lying on the bank of the river, and then he started filling the bottle with river water flowing nearby. After the bottles were filled, he left.
“Kouga!” call me. Steps ceased.
"For you. He is not mine.” he said without turning his head even a little towards me.
“What do you mean?” I'm still not understanding.
“I'm not hungry.” the answer is short while stepping back.
“Kouga! What was? You why?” my attack was full of questions while jumping down from the rock.
Kouga stopped his steps, then looked back, “Sorry Karin, I must immediately bring the water. You better go back to the tent.” he said while actually leaving me. I really don't understand his attitude.
. . Are you worried about me?
“Why is he talking like that? Obviously I'm worried, right!” I grumbled as I stared at the fish on the spear I was still holding.
Nor did I intend to linger in the river. If Kouga goes back to the tent, I will definitely come along, because my purpose here is just to meet him. But he didn't ask me to come together to the tent. He just left without waiting for me. I feel neglected. Was he angry because he was disturbed? Gusarku.
"Ah, fish ...." Look at me full of guilt. Fresh blood dripping, no longer red. Because the night goes up with the dark, leading to silence.
/When do you want to go outside?/ sahut Rei suddenly through earphones.
/Many ghosts want to meet a cowardly little boy like you!/ continuous.
In the blink of an eye, his words instantly added to the bad impression of the reality around me. The esophagus seems to dry up quickly. Swallowing saliva is difficult.
“A-I don't wander!” my kilah is a little stammered. I immediately turned off the earphones, not wanting to hear Rei's call. I quickened the pace, forcing once more on the leg muscles to return to running. The ghost words Rei spoke, automatically underscoring the bad suppositions in my mind.
Sruk’ dukh!! ―Bhuk!
"Akh .. sshh ...."
My feet stumbled over something that resembled the roots of a tree. I also fell down quite far because previously in the running condition. Pain is the right word. Landing on rocky ground is very uncomfortable. Can't say anything but busy with the pain, while slowly getting up to grab the flashlight that was thrown along with me when it hit the ground.
My surroundings became darker, as the battery also crashed out of the proper arrangement, leaving my flashlight no longer glowing. I need to get the battery in. The situation without light is very unpleasant. I'm not a vampire who likes the dark!
“Why won't it light up?!” I panicked as I kept trying to flip through the battery.
Whether because of panic, darkness, or fear, I became more and more agitated. My thoughts and views created an unpleasant picture. At first I thought it was just a hallucination. But the more I noticed, the more real the figure became.
Yes, from a distance I saw a tall black figure walking towards me. Fear is fast. Heart is beating fast. Regardless of the flashlight that was not willing to light up, this self slowly retreats preparing to escape.
Tried, I tried to keep going. All I thought about was trying to get away from that figure. Too panicked to just turn on the earphones and ask for help. Controlling my breath so as not to leave a trace of sound alone, was already too difficult and exhausting!
I leaned back, hiding behind a tree. Fingers squeezed together restlessly in the chest, the body trembled in fear, and the bad thing I imagined was putting each other to pieces in the mind. I closed my eyes, not daring to look back. There was absolutely no desire to just peek. I even felt like I wanted to faint and hope the others would find me soon.
His increasingly audible clattering of steps was evident in this silence, speeding up the beat of my heartbeat. Creating a suspenseful sensation is different than just watching a thriller or horror movie. Just told to watch I don't want to, but now I'm the main character!
I should how? Pretending dead? I can't hold my breath for long. Escape? I can't take it anymore. Yells out? Ah, I don't want to repeat the same mistake in the labyrinth. That figure will soon know my position, then ambush me! I'll get caught first, before they save me!
I think this is the time, where silence and resignation become a decision taken. Am I going to die before I try to save myself? My chest throbbed, beating the pain in my knee that hit the rock.
"YAHOO!!!!!!!"
My right shoulder got a brief clap. My palms reflexively cover my face. The soul seemed to be coming out of my body. Smooth feathers on the hump, hands, and feet burr together. My heart stomped as if it wanted to break through the chest cavity. I can't breathe normally!
“Hey, stupid!"
My lips curl. I hold my voice explosion as soon as I hear the stupid word that incidentally always slides from annoying people.
"Why are your earphones turned off?!” connect that voice again.
A familiar voice. I can feel her presence right next to my right. I was still petrified in place without wanting to take my hand off my face. I don't know, I still want to make sure. I want to hear that voice again.
"The injury on your forehead hasn't dried up yet, now you're getting a new wound!"
Without a doubt, my face turned quickly. Staring at the glistening grayish-black bead of eyes reflected the flashlight light in his hand.
“Rei!” myrag. "Ah, shh ...." I placed my finger near Rei's lips, gesturing him to resist the attack of the word he was about to vent on me.
I opened my eyes to look for the black figure. There aren't. Then I leaned back on the tree while breathing a sigh of relief. “Thankful ... I survived.”
“Congratulations? Are you sure I'm not a ghost?” I was shocked when I started to feel safe. Rei brought his face closer, “I'll cut your body into 11 parts.” whispered with a word press that sounds terrible, while shining a flashlight into the face.
“KYAAAAA!!”
My screams are maximal with tensed veins. I dropped myself— sat between the roots of the tree—because my feet were limp as if they were boneless. I took a rough breath, like my lungs had just been squeezed.
“Hmph .. ahahaha!” that shitty guy's shoulder was holding his belly.
/Yes, he's with me!/ sahut Rei suddenly like answering a call from his earphones.
I ducked down, my hands clutching the roots of the tree. A few drops of liquid, falling on my lap. Whether it's sweat pouring out or tears that I didn't realize came sliding.
Rei let out a long breath. He twisted his body, then squatted—offed his back. "Quick up" he said flat sounding pushy.
"No way!" I replied annoyed but not a strained vein, but tears that tarpampang.
Rei turned around grabbing my chin, forcing my eyeballs to stare at his gray black obsidian bead. "Originally you know, I'm holding back. So don't test my patience."
"You ... sucks! Hix ... hix ...." I wiped my tears with my right arm. I felt both scared and relieved at the same time. Its existence always includes two contradictory flavors. He let himself easily make choices for me.
“Do I have to teach you how to walk well?” the corner started attacking me.
I don't want to fight with him. The rest of my energy was being channeled to withstand the pain that began to feel all over my body. Yeah, I let this body be transported by him. Not on the back, but in a sling style bridal style.
Drowsiness slowly dominates. The result of the accumulation throughout the day. I leaned my head against Rei's field chest. I could feel a knock behind his chest cavity that exceeded normal limits. It seems like he's really holding back.
Wait ... he knows I fell ... ?
“Obati hurt when you get to the tent. Clean up and change your clothes. Ask Yukiko, a cream of Arnica flower mix, then apply it over your bruised arms and knees. Tomorrow morning will feel better.” oceh Rei at length.
Wasn't he also injured ... ?
Rei stopped the move, "Haahh .. forget it. Sleep on."
Even ... he knows I'm sleepy ...
