Four days before departure is enough to get everything ready. All kinds of needs are neatly packed in the backpack we each carry. Monday, 1 August 2011. At 10:00 a.m., we were already on the beach. Parents and relatives have taken us away.

The first challenge with the wave clue, is definitely the sea. And indeed according to the map, we have to cross the ocean to the island which is 60° direction from where we stand today—dock. In front of us, the ship with the sail not yet inflated, prepared to deliver. Together facing challenges— that can not be expected that— may have been waiting for us in front there.

The body of the ship reads Zeroichi-sama. The outside of the ship looks completely made of wood, with a large pole in the middle as the main pole of the ship as well as the support of the sail. The outer form is much simpler when compared to the Going Merry ship in the One Piece anime series. But the inside made me stupefied. Carvings in every corner of the ship's walls, floors, properties, rooms, everything seems modern. Distinct from its outward appearance. There are 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a meeting room, and a kitchen.

Although the inside seems modern, this ship does not follow the development. Strange indeed. There is no GPS navigation aid. There is no communication system such as the Harpa type radar that allows the navigators to detect directly the condition of the sea and the surrounding state. Not even a cruise and shipping news safety system existed. It was as if we were required to sail the potluck, using compasses, astrolabes, and maps as navigational aids.

“Come we go!” sahut Kouga is excited.

As the sails developed and the anchors were lifted, the ship began to move slowly. We waved our hands with a big smile.

“Dear yourself well!” aunt Oshiro shouted as she waved her hand.

“May you succeed!” yell Uncle Fukuda.

“Natsu, you have to look after Rin-chan!!” shouted Uncle Oshiro did not want to lose, while running small chasing our ship slowly away from the dock.

“I understand, just trust me~!” natsu Sahut.

My uncle was always worried about me. If anything happens to me, uncle will scold Natsu. Sometimes I think uncle's attitude is excessive. Because it's not Natsu's fault, it's often me who's careless. Uncle still scolded him. Even so, Natsu never denied if scolded uncle, he accepted it. At times like that, I feel so guilty. The adult figure even looks to Natsu, even though I am 2 months older than him.

Shouts of encouragement, messages, prayers, and advice from parents and relatives are still heard clearly among the waves and gusts of wind. Our ship is moving a little faster, getting away from the dock. But the wave of loved ones' hands that led us could still be seen until finally the beach, the dock, and they all just looked like a point at the end there, then disappeared.

Yes, our ship has sailed far away. Kouga controls the rudder of the ship. Toru and Natsu are directing the screen. Rei was on the upper deck near the bow or front of the ship while holding a compass and monitoring with binoculars. The weather today is also sunny. Sailing in the summer with friends, it was fun. This is my first time, it will definitely add to my list of adventures with them. Finished making a snack in the kitchen, Akiko and I shared it with the others.

“Eits, I take it first!” Natsu snatched a piece of cake on the plate I was carrying.

Justin and Yukiko were fishing, which made me interested in joining. They fish with artificial cuttlefish bait. The moving ship pulled the bait so it was seen swimming near the water surface. Not long after ...

Yukiko plunged into the sea.

“Are you okay~ ?” scream Justin.

“Ya-hoo~!” it was not long after popping the head to the surface. “I'm fine!” he shouted while aligning his breath. “Karin~! Lots of beautiful coral! I'll take a picture. You can see!” he was excited while showing the camera that was taken to plunge into the sea.

Yukiko always took the camera with her wherever she went. Two years ago, the camera was modified by Rei to be used in water.

“Kouga! Navigate 30° ship to the right!” rei shouted while staring at the compass in his hand.

“Yes, I understand!” kouga Sahut. “Toru, pull the screen rope a little! Natsu, you hold the other rope!” kouga said directing.

“Everything is working hard ...” I whispered while continuing to pay attention to them.

“Hey, little boy! Is this edible?” ledek Rei while pointing at my homemade cake.

“Hugh! At least I can make it right!” my reply.

“Hey! Lookie! Someone ate my bait!” justin continued to spin the drill. “It looks great! The pull is strong enough! Hiyaa~t!!” Justin continued to try to fight the pull of the fish that seemed to also not want to quickly succumb.

I also helped Justin, can't wait to see what the fish are like.

"Be-large~!!" I was surprised to see a fish slowly approaching the surface.

“In the northwest direction there is a black cloud plume leading here. Looks like cumulonimbus!” yell Rei told.

Justin and I were still wrestling with the fish. Akiko came to us, initially giving support, but I think his adrenaline was also provoked, to make him intervene to help us fight the pull of the big fish.

Dugh!

The ship hit the waves pretty hard. Justin and Akiko quickly pulled on my arms and held onto my body that was about to fall into the sea. The waves made the ship shake. It seemed like small ripples turned into waves that started to ferment.

“A-the fishing line splashed!” I said slightly trembling while holding on tightly to the edge of the ship.

“Leave it! We'd better get to the middle of the ship, it's dangerous!” take Akiko while pulling my hand.

“Ma-pardon me, Justin ...” I said I felt guilty.

“Shouldn't thank you?"

Immediately I bowed. "Ah, m-sorry! Thanks for pulling me! And about your fishing gear, I really wanted ma—"

"Thank you that's enough. No need to apologize. We still have other fishing gear." Justin patted my head with a smile. "If only I had not had time to withdraw it .. hiiii~ I really could not overcome their dark aura! I'm sure I'm the prime suspect!" justin's murmured seemed frustrated glancing towards Akiko and Rei.

"Justin? Are you okay sa—"

I haven't finished talking, Akiko pulled my hand back. "We need to get to the middle of the ship!"

Yukiko had arrived in the middle of the ship. He went straight out of the water and climbed up the stairs of the ship as soon as he felt the unnatural movement of the waves.

“Daughters on board only. No one comes out. Justin, please help hold the screen support rope, because the wind is blowing more and more direction. Rei, keep an eye on the ship's direction of motion.” Kouga. His face looked very serious.

Natsu. “It looks like there will be a storm, you're fast in!”

“Then you and the others didn't come in?”

Once again the waves hit our ship. I held onto Natsu as my footing swayed.

Natsu flicked my forehead. “We have to control the ship."

“Karin, hurry!” yelled Akiko who was still waiting near the middle entrance of the ship.

"But– "

"Hey, little boy! Why are you still outside?!" rei shouted from above the deck of the ship. "Akiko, please drag the fool to get inside!"

Akiko pulled my arm. “You should understand, they are trying to protect us and save the ship from the storm that moves here,” said Akiko.

"After the storm subsides. Bring me a towel and warm chocolate!" the Pinta Natsu I replied with a quick nod.

“Everything will be fine. Our existence there will only disturb them,” Akiko continued as she pushed my body down the stairs towards the main hall.

The waves roared and became increasingly uncontrollable. Making the ship drift is not careless. The weather in the middle of the sea is very easy to change. Yukiko was lying limp from seasickness. I was agitated, sitting on the stairs holding tightly to his handle. Honestly, I was scared, anxious, worried, and it became more and more when the rain started to fall with the thunderous lightning. I faintly heard the screams of Kouga who kept giving directions. Akiko was sitting limp, as if she was getting seasick, just still trying to keep an eye on me.

I couldn't bear it until I started to slowly climb up the stairs.

“What are you doing?! Ukh ... wait, Karin!!” Akiko was trying to chase me.

"A-kiko!"

I stopped because I could not bear to see Akiko staggering until she fell. Then I rushed to him.

I sat on the floor, rubbing Akiko's shoulders. "You better lie down. Come on, I'll help you walk."

Akiko held my shoulder. "No... You must be—"

"I won't do anything that worries you! I just want to take a peek at their situation. After that I will be back. But you also have to promise to rest, come on."

Akiko heard. I laid her down in the same room as Yukiko. They've been taking the vehicle's hangover cure. It's just that because the ship continues to sway, the effect of the medicine is not maximal.

I went up the stairs and peeked out from behind the door. I hope the lightning doesn't surprise me. His voice was scary and echoed in my ears every time he appeared. The ship was still swaying, crashing to and fro, being played with by the waves and wind. To the extent that the fish also stopped by and stuck on the floor of the ship because it was carried away by the pounding waves that flooded the deck of the ship. Sky changed. Black clouds billowed on the ship. The flashes of light welcoming the lightning continued to alternate. My heart was pounding not because it saw those who steadfastly balanced the ship in the midst of the waves. Their bodies are wet.

Justin slipped and fell off the ship. The position is closest to the edge of the ship.

“Justii~n!!” I shouted as I ran out. And ...

I also slipped and fell on the floor of the ship. The floor is slippery plus the ship continues to sway unstable. My body is so wet.

“Karin!!”

Natsu came up to me, taking off the screen rope that was previously held tightly by him. They all looked at me. Rei jumped off the upper deck and ran straight towards me.

“What are you doing?! Why are you out?!” Rei snapped at me. “Natsu, please keep the screen!” rei pinta.

“T-please justin!! I saw him crash out of the ship!!” I said while getting up.

“No, Justin is trying to go upstairs. He had reached the rope ladder,” Toru said.

Suddenly the floor of the ship was sloping.

“Oh, no. .. this is very bad. You allaa~!! Quickly find the handle!! That wave will hit us!!” Kouga shouted loudly.

His face was wide in disbelief at seeing something behind the ship.

Rei quickly pulled me and we held on to the main mast of the screen. The rope that was coiled in there was strong enough to be grasped.

“Close! Strong handle!” sahut Rei told me.

Rei tightly embraced my shoulder and his other hand held firmly to the mast of the sail, and grasped firmly the rope.

“Take a lot of breath! Now!!” Rei gave aba-aba.

My cheeks are full of breath. Closed eyes.

We didn't realize that a huge wave about 15 meters high rolled up behind the ship and was ready to prey on us. I think the waves are more sinister than the monsters that mostly appear on the television screen.

The byuurr!!

Just a matter of seconds, with great voracity the huge waves ate our ship. Banging water doesn't feel good. I think the ship agrees with my statement. In the water, the ship was still drifting. We try as hard as possible to hold on to the ship so as not to get carried away by the current.

Air bubbles slowly come out of the mouth. The stored breath gradually diminished. The body feels floating. The hand is not as strong at the beginning. Slender. Silent. Are we already inside the belly of that big wave? Is this ship really sinking? Could it be that we have just got here on our adventure?

I slowly opened my eyes, the conditions in the sea looked dark and looked creepy. Rei was beside me. Embracing my body. He felt so warm in the cold of the sea. It's summer, but the sea is still cold.

Uhuk! Uhuk!

I've reached the limit. My breath's up. My hand slipped. I faintly saw the look on Rei's panicked face. His hands clenched tightly onto my body which was beginning to numb. Face approaching. After that, I don't know what happened.

Hey, little boy! You fool, get up! Are you tired of living?!

The words sounded faint and began to disturb a bit. I don't know, am I dreaming? Why is it only Rei's voice I hear? Slowly but surely, the voice became more and more real.

“Karin! Thank goodness ...” Yukiko hugged me.

I'm lying on the bed. I was in a room I knew. Akiko, Yukiko, Natsu, and Rei, they're all around me.

“Stupid basis,” said Rei while leaving just passed by.

Natsu stroked my head. “You scared me,” he said gently almost whispering. His eyes full of worry.

“We're worried about you!” akiko Sahut. "How come you didn't wake up for two hours after I made you vomit a lot of water!"

"I told you you pressed his chest too hard while doing CPR. Though I can do it with lem—"

The plot!! (Akiko hit Natsu's head)

" ... but," continued Natsu finished his speech.

"Possible trauma due to a sudden hit by water. How's condition? Do you feel dizzy or other pain?" ask Yukiko to make sure.

The last thing I remember was our ship sinking, and the face of rei. Then I woke up in the room and .. isn't this in the boat?! Then now .. it feels like the ship is still speeding. How could? Did that wave spew our ship??

"Yet? You can hear me, right?" Yukiko looked worried.

"Ah, m-sorry! I think I'm okay! Just a little confused."

"He said it looks like," Natsu embraced Yukiko and Akiko. "Hey, you guys should do a follow-up check for Karin. He's my only brother!"

"Geez! Who did you say sister?" I'm moving on. "I'm doing fine. Not feeling dizzy or other pain. Sorry to make you both worry."

"Third! Don't forget me!" exclaiming Natsu.

"Hmph! Haha. His attitude towards you made me understand that Karin is fine!" Akiko patted Natsu's shoulder.

"Yes! I'm going out!" I jumped out of bed quickly.

"I think she's really healthy" Yukiko said before closing the door.

The ship did not drown!

“You are all really great! Successfully save the ship!” cheers proud.

Toru reads comics while keeping the screen. Justin and Toru are a little more relaxed, as the wind is friendly to the screen, so there's not much to do. Kouga remains at the helm of the ship.

Raise the sky more I like, because I'm not a fish that must weigh water. The ship agrees with me. The blue sky was brighter, more beautiful than ever. Gulls adorn in all directions. The sea looks shiny. Friendly wind blows. The screen expands perfectly. Our ship is going in one direction. The sea is so calm. How impressive.

My long black hair that was unraveled, was gently greeted by the wind that was blowing towards me. Both hands stretched out upwards and I spread them wide while breathing deeply in the air. Then I exhaled. Fresh air. Comfortable.

. . . Take a lot of breath! Now!!

Rei! inner pekik.

I opened my eyes looking for his usual figure on the upper deck.

"Eh? Nothing ..." I whispered a little disappointed.

Suddenly Natsu hugged my body from behind. Long enough he was silent. I know that Natsu wants to say something.

“Thank you for not leaving,” he said warmly.

I could tell that he was smiling while closing his eyes.

"Thank you for making me stay here. Warm chocolate .. I hope you can wait," I said.

Natsu laughed softly. Then his face approached. I could feel his breath on my right side. He whispered something.

Clop!!

Akiko throws an orange-studded tire right around Natsu's head.

"Basic bawdy! Stay away from Karin!!" akiko shouted while pulling the rope until Natsu was dragged backwards.

"Who are you saying pervert, huh?! I just gave my little sister a big hug!" Natsu thrashed away.

Rei's on the upper deck. I think he's asleep.

I immediately ran towards the upper deck after Natsu told me. Strange, I wanted to meet him so badly.

"Ah . huh .. huh! This ... is the same as back then," I whispered without wanting to wake the sleeping Rei leaning back.

While camping in Sapporo, I was too excited to go around until I didn't realize my feet were going far enough. I was lost, my phone was also left in the bag. They were looking for me all day. Until late in the afternoon, I answered Rei's screams that kept calling my name. He rarely calls me by name. Rei ran carrying a backpack containing lots of food and drinks, as well as warm clothes. I know my stomach is hungry because I haven't had lunch. And after that, instead of rushing back, he fell asleep beside me. I borrowed his cell phone to tell the others.

I sat down to the left of Rei's body. "I think I've been troubling you again, yeah."

"No. You are more than a troublesome word," Rei said suddenly. His eyes opened and looked at me.

"Aah!" I'm getting away surprised. "You're awake?!"

"Koug~! Don't we agree? Now is the right time!" yelled Akiko a little screamed.

“Alright! Justin, please drop the anchor! We enjoy today! Celebrate the success against the ferocious waves!!” sahut Kouga is excited.

“Agreed~!!” answer them in unison.

I myself want to move. "What will they sell– "

Rei quickly withdrew my hand until this body fell back to rest beside him.

"R–remph!" my screams were unclear because Rei covered my mouth with his hand.

"St! I don't want them interrupting my break!"

I nodded in understanding. I pulled his hand while bowing. "I'm sorry, I seem to be bothering you too." I looked at Rei's face. "I just want to thank you for everything you did when the wave came!"

Rei looked surprised, his body moving closer to me. "You already know?! Who told you that??"

"Np? Tidak knew? Whahuh? Tells ... what?" many confused.

"Eh? W-wait, what happened do you remember the last time before you fainted?" search Rei with his serious gaze.

"I ... saw you approaching. Must be because I'm afraid my body is getting carried away, right? At that time I could no longer hold the rope. That's why I'm grateful to you."

"Y-yahh .. That's it." Rei leaned back.

"But Rei, how can the ship return to the surface?"

Rei told me, it turns out that this ship has a safety system that will be active when the ship sinks, where water will not be able to get into it. Therefore the room inside the ship was not wet in the least. Due to the presence of air that is awake on the inside, making the ship move back to the surface.

"But I was warned not to go out!" Rei scratched his head.

"I-I'm going. You want to rest, don't you? He.he.."

"Step so bad, you'll be sorry."

"Keep pressing it, you'll be the one I'll cut."

"Gee!" I turned around surprised. "Akiko!"

"What are you doing here? Come on, we're having fun!" Take Akiko to pull me up. "Hmm ... What do you want to do keep him here?" his allusion to Rei was with a slightly soft tone.

Both jumped into the sea. I watched them from the boat.

“Natsu, please lift the grill, yes! We'll fish at the stern (back of the ship)." Akiko pinta. Then he turned to me. "Justin is preparing his fishing gear. You wait here, I want to go to the toilet." Akiko left.

"Hm." I nodded my head without taking my eyes off Yukiko and Kouga who were swimming looking for lobsters.

Shortly after, Rei came to me. “You want to get off?”

“Eh?” Quite surprised to see Rei carrying a rubber boat.

“Rei, help lift the grill, dong!” natsu cried a little complaining.

“With Toru alone, I want to fish by boat!” Rei shook the rubber boat he was holding.

Natsu wants to persuade Toru.

“I was guarding the ship while finishing the last edition of Rabbit Doubt. You're a boy, right?” sela Toru's.

Natsu scratched his head. “Not yet I spoke, he has refused. Oh God ... is there still a kind person who wants to help me~?”

“You're overreacting.” timpal Rei. Then he looked at me. "Come on."

"But me and Akiko—"

"Hurry now!" sela Rei made me shut up.

Akiko saw me row a rubber boat with Rei.

"Kari~n!! Shout if he does something to you~!!" yelled Akiko from the boat.

I replied to him by putting together a finger that means OK.

From the boat, I could faintly see coral reefs with various colors and small fish with patterns I had never seen, it was beautiful. That's because the water is so clear. Shimmering when reflected by sunlight. I feel like I want to go inside. From the surface looks very close, but the depth can reach 12 meters. Rei said, our location is close to the mainland, almost on the destination island. We can't wait to enjoy the sea this summer.

“Not you want to rest?” ask me while stirring the sea water and sometimes splash it far away.

“Don't get too close, you can splash!” said Rei while throwing his fishing bait.

“Haiyyaaa!”

Yukiko appeared suddenly. It surprised us.

“What are you doing? Aging in the middle of the sea, hehe!” ledek.

“Fishing. You want me to fish?” balas Rei meredek's.

“I want to take Karin for a swim. Come, Karin! You can hold on to me ..” persuade Yukiko.

“This little boy won't want to,” interrupted Rei.

“I want!” kilahku.

Rei looked quickly at me. “Apa? You insane? Although there is Yukiko, but if anything happens at least you should be able to swim!”

“I will wear a life jacket hanging inside the ship,” I replied.

Yukiko took me to a place where there are many corals and anemones. I couldn't see it up close, because I couldn't go diving, but I really enjoyed the sea this summer. Floating in the middle of the sea is a little vacillating, a more pleasant sensation than having to oscillate in the ship. Yukiko showed me the situation in the sea through her camera. He's diving, I'm waiting on the surface. There is a clown fish that looks like Nemo in the movie Finding Nemo. Orange white stripes. There are also many other reef-dwelling animals that are no less beautiful. We met with Kouga.

“Look,” Kouga shows lobster his catch.

“Wah, huge, yes!”

“Today, it looks like your buoys are leaking!” Yukiko checked the lower area of the life jacket where the air bubbles came out.

“Apa?! W-how is this?!!” I started to panic.

Kouga gives his lobster to Yukiko. "I'll take Karin to Rei's place,” he said as he pulled my arm.

I'm holding on to Kouga's shoulder. We're facing each other. “Sorry I'm a hassle.”

“Ti-no!” kouga kaku.

“Thank you, yes.”

“I-iya!!” Kouga looks nervous.

“What's up?” many wonder.

“Hah? Ma-mean?”

“Kouga freak .. Your ears are also flushed,”

“Be-really? Maybe I'm in the water too long,”

Kouga helped me get on the rubber boat. I asked him to come up because his ears were still red. But he refused.

“I go directly to the ship only! First, yes!” sahut Kouga swimming near the ship.

Rei tidied up his fishing equipment. “Not with Yukiko?! What happened to Kouga?!” ask her with a high voice.

“I told you my life jacket leaked, then Kouga drove me here,” my light. Astonished to see Rei rowing the boat. "Where are we going?"

“I'm going to the ship! Whether you want to come or not!”

“Why? Though the results of fishing are quite a lot,” whisks me while rowing the boat.

“Whatever you want to do. I don't care.”

“What do I want to do .. does that mean? You mad at me?”

“Do you think?” said Rei while climbing the rope ladder first.

“What's wrong with you?! Strange base!” I muttered as I continued to follow him behind.

After lunch, we continued our journey. At about 4pm, we arrived at the destination island. On the edge of his benefactor, stuck a board that read Zeroichi-sama. A sign that the island is our true destination. Kouga decided to spend the night on the ship. We agree.

The beach is the most visited place during the summer holidays. Maybe we got lucky. Take a boat, sail the ocean, fish in the sea, swim, eat seafood, and now play beach volleyball while waiting for the sun to set.

Watching the sun return to its contest that never forgets to create a beautiful silhouette behind it. Enjoying the glow of the golden waves before the rest of its radiance was completely gone from the horizon. Feel the small welcome of the beachside waves that greet gently between toes. Opportunities that not everyone can feel. We were really lucky. Even though it almost drowned. It is hard to believe that the storm was real, not just a movie created from the extraordinary acting of the players. For this event, we actually experienced it! A challenging experience.

Even at night the sky remains clear. Here the star looks much more. I still remember what Rei said when he took me to Tokyo Tower, light pollution in urban areas blocked the starlight, so that the stars in the city looked less.

Last summer, we went to Hokkaido. Justin invited us to visit his farm located in the suburbs of Sapporo. In the evening Rei told me that the star on the arm of the Milky Waythe galaxy where we live—looked beautiful in the summer in Hokkaido. I want to hunt for stars. I don't know much about them. All I know is that in their lifetime they always shine under any circumstances. Light up life with the energy it has. They make me jealous. I want to feel like them.
