Abraham and Asyila 2

Abraham and Asyila 2
Welcoming The Beloved Father

Arumi came early in the morning after a night of sleep in his house. He came with fresh vegetables that he bought at the vegetable market and brought them all to his daughter-in-law's house.

Abraham who had just returned from the mosque rushed to him his mother who was arranging vegetables in front of the gate of the house.

“Mother? Why come so early? I'm here on what?” asked Abraham and did not forget to kiss the back of his mother-in-law's hand.

“Firasat Ibu said that Asyila's father will come home today, so I come here so early. I was here by ojek,” replied Arumi.

“Let Abraham take her,” said Abraham and brought all his mother-in-law's groceries.

“Thank you, son Abraham,” said Arumi.

Abraham and Arumi went into the house. At the same time, Ashila and her two little sons came out of the room.

“Assalamu’alaikum,” said Abraham and also Arumi.

“Wa’alaikumsalam!” exciting Asyila.

“Dad!”

“Grandmother!”

Arsyad and Ashraf compactly ran over to their Father and Grandma.

“Arsyad and Ashraf have not prayed dawn yet?” abraham asked because his two young sons did not want to pray in the mosque on the grounds of sleepiness.

“Already, just finished,” replied Arsyad who did pray at home and supervised by the Mother.

“Alhamdulillah,” reply Abraham and kiss Arsyad and Ashraf forehead alternately.

“Hhmm.. What's this smell? Looks like the smell of soto,” Arumi said when her nose smelled the scent of soto.

Asyila smiled and glanced towards her husband.

“Soto made by Dad delicious, Grandma,” said Arsyad praised the soto made by his father.

Arumi immediately turned to his daughter-in-law, “Kok Nak Abraham who made soto? Can't Asyila?” asked Arumi who turned to look at Abraham and Ashila.

“See, Mas! Mother even blamed Ashila for Mas,” Asyila's tirade to her husband.

Abraham chuckled and pulled his little wife's body closer to him.

“Mother don't blame Ashila for this all Abraham wanted. Asyila is currently not allowed to do housework,” explained Abraham.

“Are you sick, baby? Is the disease severe?” ask Arumi in panic.

Arsyad and Ashraf stood there watching the parents speak.

However, Arsyad also realized and approached the Mother.

“What pain delay?” arsyad asked with a sad look.

“Mother doesn't hurt anything dear, Arsyad invite sister Ashraf inside ya dear!” asyila pinta.

Arshad agreed and followed what his mother had said. He asked Ashraf to go back to his room.

“Asyila's back hurts a little, Mom. And Mas Abraham forbade Ashila to do homework,” explained Asyila and did not tell in detail if the back turned blue due to a hard blow from the perpetrator of terror.

“Then Asyila has a lot of rest. Oya, son of Abraham. Can I taste the soto made by Nak Abraham?” asked Arumi who was very curious about the son-in-law's soto.

Arumi was sure very well that the son-in-law's soto was very delicious. Smelling the aroma alone has made the tongue sway especially if you enjoy it right then and there.

“In the meantime, Abraham will prepare it,” said Abraham.

“Don't, Son Abraham. Let Mother alone prepare it herself,” reply Arumi.

“Mother should not be confused with Abraham. Abraham would be happy if he prepared it himself,” Abraham brightly and waltzed away to the kitchen to prepare his mother-in-law's wish soto.

“Mother's beloved daughter is really lucky to get a husband like Nak Abraham. Congratulations, dear,” said Arumi.

Asyila's face blushed in embarrassment hearing the words from her mother. Asyila could not avoid what her mother said. She is very lucky to have a good and responsible husband. Moreover, Abraham was truly the perfect man God sent for him.

He came out of his room with blackened eye bags. It was very noticeable that Dyah did not sleep well, I don't know what the young girl was thinking.

“Grandmother Arumi has come yes,” said Dyah while kissing the back of Arumi's hand.

“Dyah, is your sleep not good?” ask Arumi.

He quickly closed his eyes with both hands.

“No, Dyah sleeps very well,” Dyah replied lying. After the tahajjud prayer, it is very difficult to go back to sleep.

“Hmm... Why are we standing like this! Come sit!” take Asyila and the three of them to sit on the sofa of the family room.

Abraham was still busy heating the soup, Abraham's smile was perfect and hoped his mother-in-law liked his chicken soto.

A few moments later.

Abraham approached Arumi and the others who were talking in the living room to invite them to enjoy his chicken soup.

Not to forget Abraham called his two little sons with Asyila who was in the room.

Abraham smiled and breathed a sigh of relief because his mother-in-law liked his chicken soto.

“From first what Uncle cooked everything was delicious, Grandma. In fact, Dyah will not be bored if Uncle cooks food every day,” said Dyah.

“Do not overdo it,” Abraham chirps.

*****

Afternoon.

Asyila was sitting alone on the front porch of the house. That afternoon he was waiting for the Father who was on his way home.

At home, there was only Ashila alone. Abraham deliberately did not invite his little wife so that the wife could rest a lot and not move much.

“Meooonggg!” A pure white cat suddenly approached Asyila.

“God, whose cat is this?” asyila asked and gently stroked the head of the cute cat.

“Meeeoooonngg!” The white cat looked extremely spoiled as Asyila gently stroked her head.

“You hungry cat? Just a minute! I'll get you the fish.”

Asyila ran into the house and picked up the fried fish at the dinner table.

“Before the cat, I will separate the fish bones first,” said Asyila and give the fish meat to the cat. Then, get rid of the fish bones into the litter box.

After the fish given to Asyila was gone, the cat left Asyila until the white cat was not seen again.

“Yah's.. Her cat left,” said Asyila sadly and suddenly she remembered the figure of her best friend, Ema.

At the same time, the gate of the house was wide open and a car was seen slowly entering the courtyard of Abraham's residence.

Asyila gasped to immediately welcome the arrival of her beloved Father who was almost two weeks in the hospital.

“Dad!” Asyila ran over and kissed the back of her father's hand, Herwan.

Asyila cried so hard that she could no longer speak. Seeing the Father in front of her was enough to make Asyila feel happy.

“Daddy came home and cried?” asked Herwan while wiping his tears of his favorite daughter.

“Asyila was very happy to see Dad standing in front of Asyila. Quickly healed Dad,” reply Asyila.

“Don't underestimate Dad. See now, Dad can stand,” said Herwan.

“Syila, we continue chatting her inside. I have a lot of rest,” said Abraham and led Herwan into the house.

Asyila still shed her happy tears. He was very happy because his father was able to go home. However, it should be treated at home and not in the hospital.

Not being able to pay for hospital expenses. However, Herwan does not feel at home in the hospital and wants to immediately gather with his family.

“Why is Dad's daughter still crying, smile!” pinta Herwan and return to wipe away Asyila's tears.

Asyila gave a small nod and hugged the body of her beloved Father.

“Although Ashila already has a husband and has two adorable little sons. But Asyila is still my little daughter. Asyila is very dear to Dad, thank you Dad for raising Asyila and thank you also to Mom for sacrificing a lot of time and energy for Asyila.”

Arumi could not hold back her tears, she also cried and hugged her husband and her favorite daughter, Asyila.

Abraham, Arsyad, Ashraf and Dyah were also moved to see how Ashila and her parents shared their affection.

“Hiks... Dyah so kangen Papa and Mamah at home,” said Dyah.

“If you miss them, go home! Have you not been here long enough,” ketus Abraham.

“Dark uncle,” chirps Dyah put on a stale face while wiping away her tears.

“This handsome guy you said ugly, do you need glasses?” asked Abraham who had mocked his nephew.

Dyah tilted her lips and stuck out her tongue to mock her Uncle.

Asyila, Arumi and Herwan laughed together at Dyah's completely ridiculous facial expression.

“Kak Dyah ugly,” chirped Arsyad who also laughed at the silly behavior of his brother.

Dyah stomped his feet and stepped back to leave them.

“Begini-begini many who have a crush tofu,” said Dyah monologue while continuing to sing her thin lips.

Arshad and Ashraf ran to immediately follow Dyah on orders from Abraham who asked his two little sons to comfort Dyah who was sulking and embarrassed.

“Sorry everyone, tonight Abraham can not go home because of a lot of business in the office. God willing tomorrow morning Abraham returns home,” Abraham said.

“Mas take it easy, we're fine here. Hopefully Mas's work is quickly completed,” reply Asyila.
