Ashraf Is Back to Falling Sick

Arumi is shocked to find Ashraf's body returning with a fever. However, he was afraid to tell his son-in-law because it would make his daughter-in-law even more sad. She decided to take Ashraf to the hospital with her husband Herwan.

“Mas, why has Ashraf been getting sick lately? I am afraid that something bad will happen to our grandchildren,” said Arumi who was very afraid of the health condition of her favorite grandson.

“You don't think bad like that. Whatever happens, Ashraf will definitely be cured,” Herwan replied.

A few moments later.

A woman in a white uniform comes to Arumi and Herwan. Then, the doctor said that Ashraf must be immediately reunited with the woman he always called Mother.

Hearing this, Arumi immediately cried because Mother of Ashraf had died.

“The girl does not need to cry, the mistress just to bring together Ashraf's sister and her mother. God willing, Ashraf immediately improved and may be cured. Such a small child's illness can be caused because he misses someone so much,” explained the doctor.

“How can you, Doc? While my daughter has left us for good and our grandchildren until now did not know that her Mother had died,” Arumi replied with tears.

Hearing the information from Arumi, the doctor was surprised and immediately apologized because he did not know about their family problems that turned out to be grieving.

“I'm sorry for what I said, Mrs and Mrs. I really don't know about this issue, with the deepest heart I once again apologize,” said the pediatrician.

Herwan could understand the meaning of the woman before him and asked the woman who works as a doctor to leave him alone with the wife who was still crying.

Arumi cried bitterly because he also missed the figure of his favorite daughter, just as Ashraf who missed the figure of his mother.

“Now, what should we do? What should we do when Ashraf gets sick like this?” arumi asked while hitting her husband's chest repeatedly.

Arumi did not care about the gaze of the people around, which he only thought at that time how Ashraf could be cured and not sickly anymore.

“Have, don't cry anymore. Let's go meet Ashraf!” take Herwan.

Arumi immediately brushed off the hand of her husband who invited her into the room of their granddaughter.

“Are you not saddened by the death of Asyila, our daughter? How can a mother be silent and not cry after learning of her daughter's death. Did Mas now choose to ignore our daughter?”

Arumi is very fond of her only daughter. Throughout his life, Arumi never imagined that his favorite daughter first followed his first son who had left him a dozen years ago.

Herwan chose to remain silent, he did not want to cloud his wife's mood.

Arumi cried for a long time, until finally Arumi stopped her crying and entered the room of her granddaughter with her eyes moist.

“Nek, Ashraf wants to go home. Ashraf would like Mother, Mother where Nek?” ashraf asked incessantly about the whereabouts of his mother.

“Ashraf wants to meet Mommy?” ask Arumi.

The boy quickly nodded.

“Then, Ashraf will have to stay in the hospital for the next few days. Then, after recovering Ashraf was able to meet Mother Asyila. Ashraf agrees?” ask Arumi.

The smile on Ashraf's lips was perfectly glistened, even though his lips were very pale at the time.

“Yes Yes Nek?” asked Ashraf making sure with eyes full of great hope.

“Iya, darling. Now Ashraf is sleeping and Grandma will wake Ashraf up at lunchtime,” Arumi said.

Again Ashraf was consumed by the lies of his Grandmother and not until when the Grandmother continued to lie to him.

Arumi gently stroked her grandson's hair with tears that kept flowing profusely.

Seeing his wife who was constantly crying, made Herwan's heart claustrophobic. Not to mention the illness of his wife who suddenly collapsed due to too many thoughts.

“Mas, tonight we sleep here huh. I want us to sleep here with Ashraf,” said Arumi.

“Of course we sleep here,” Herwan replies.

“Mas, the matter of Ashraf entering the hospital, please do not tell Nak Abraham. I don't want Nak Abraham to be anxious and getting sadder,” explained Arumi.

“However, our grandson also needs his Father,” Herwan replied.

“Mas, please understand!” arumi Pinta.

“This is not a matter of understanding or not, Sister. However, Ashraf now also needs the presence of Nak Abraham. Later that night Mas will contact Nak Abraham and ask Nak Abraham to come to the hospital to see Ashraf,” said Herwan.

Arumi slowly began to understand the meaning of her husband and in the end she agreed to the words of her husband that would tell the situation of Ashraf to his daughter-in-law.

A few hours later.

As Arumi had said, Arumi woke up Ashraf to enjoy her lunch.

At first Ashraf refused to eat because he was very not*****food and his mouth tasted very bitter. However, Arumi continued to plead with Ashraf for Ashraf to eat even if only a little.

“Come yes dear, please do not resist Grandma's wishes. Grandma does not want Ashraf to get sicker,” said Arumi with swollen eyes.

Ashraf opened his mouth slowly and carefully Arumi put food into Ashraf's mouth.

“Pelan-pelan just chew it,” said Arumi.

“Assalamu’alaikum,” Herwan said as he stepped in with a plastic bag containing fresh bread and some healthy snacks his grandson wanted last night when his grandson was not sick.

“Wa’alaikumsalam,” reply Ashraf and Arumi.

“See what Grandpa brought?” asked Herwan while lifting the plastic bag up high.

“Bread!” shouts Ashraf who vaguely saw the bread of his desire.

Arumi was surprised to see Ashraf's response so excited.

“God's Cause, get well fast baby!”

“Siap, Mother. Ashraf can't wait to see Mommy,” replied the little boy.

Arumi was downcast sad, she felt very guilty for lying to her granddaughter.

What the doctor said is true. The reason Ashraf is often sickly is because Ashraf misses the figure of his mother.

Unknowingly, Ashraf's lunch ran out without remaining. Instead, Ashraf does not look like he just had a fever.

“Mas, do you remember contacting Nak Abraham?” ask Arumi.

“We'll see Ashraf's condition until later tonight. If Ashraf is still sick, it means Mas must contact Nak Abraham,” Herwan replied as is.

“Grandfather, want some fresh bread!” pinta Ashraf pointed at the plastic bag that Herwan had brought.

Herwan raised both eyebrows and gave two slices of fresh bread to his grandson.

“Grandpa give jam yes,” said Herwan.

Ashraf quickly shook his head, “No need, cake,” he replied and slowly enjoyed the loaf of bread in his hand.

Nightfall.

Ashraf's condition decreased again, his fever which was originally normal is now hot again and makes the couple panic.

“Mas, we better tell Nak Abraham. I don't want Ashraf why-why,” said Arumi who now seems very worried about the condition of her grandson.

Not to mention, the grandson continued to call his mother in a state of pain.

“Hiks... Hix... Mommy.. Mother,” call Ashraf with eyes closed. But her tears kept flowing.

“Ashraf, don't be like this dear. Grandma is very scared,” said Arumi while holding the hands of her grandson who felt very hot.

Herwan began to panic and decided to immediately contact his daughter-in-law who is currently in Bandung.

“Mas where to go?” arumi asked when she saw her husband wanted to step out of the door.

“Mas wants to contact Nak Abraham, if this continues Ashraf's health will decrease,” Herwan explained.

Herwan stepped out of the door and attempted to contact his daughter-in-law.

However, Abraham's phone number turned out to be out of reach alias inactive.

“Not usually Nak Abraham's phone number is off like this. Dear God, please heal our grandchildren as soon as possible. Servants are so sorry to see our grandson Ashraf suffering so constantly. Not to mention his longing for our daughter, Asyila,”, Herwan said.

Because Abraham's phone number could not be reached, Herwan decided to go back into the room and tell his wife about the phone number of their daughter-in-law who was out of reach.

“Then, Mas please contact Dyah or Fahmi. If you still can't, contact Nak Ema or Nak Yogi,” explained Arumi.

“Astaghfirullahaladzim, why did Mas not think of earlier,” Herwan replied while patting his forehead repeatedly.

Herwan came back out of the room and quickly contacted Dyah.

Again the number that Herwan called was off.

“Where Dyah? Why is his phone number off the same as Nak Abraham.”

Herwan frowned and saw the clock on his phone which turned out to be 23.15 WIB.

“Astagfirullahaladzim, it's just that they can't be contacted. Apparently it's been at this hour, the time where they all rest,” said Herwan monologue.

Herwan felt guilty about having to contact them at curfew. He went back inside and told him that around 3 am, he would call his family back in Bandung.

Fortunately, Ashraf was no longer crying and was asleep from exhaustion.

Repeatedly, Arumi kissed his grandson's hand and hoped that tomorrow morning his grandson's condition would recover as before.

“Adik sleep in this bed, let Mas sleep under!” herwan Pinta.

Arumi agreed and went to bed to sleep immediately. There are still many things to do tomorrow morning and after performing the morning prayers, Arumi wants to go home to cook her grandson's favorite food so that the grandson can get out of the hospital immediately.
