The One For Forever

Yesterday after hearing the news of Winter's death, Simon ran towards Agustin's private residence. Simon knew Agustin because throughout the last 4 years Agustin often went up the mountain to watch Flo without being discovered. And of course Simon as a hunter on the mountain used to be alert and know the existence of Augustine.

Simon knocks on Agustin's door and tells him that Flo has gone down from the mountain to look for Winter.

Armed with it, Agustin orders Altez to find Flo at his house that used to be near the market. And it's true that Agustin thought, Flo was there.

"So Mr Simon told you everything??" Flo leaned against the chest of Winter's field after finishing their hot tussle.

"Yes, if only the man had not approached Agustin's residence we would not have met." Winter gets rid of the damp Flo-infused hair tendrils.

"Surprisingly, how could I not have known Augustin all this time observing me even to know Mr. Simon like that."

Winter laughed, "I set it up."

"I know." Complain Flo. "Then, what's Winter's plan now? You who were presumed dead can't stay here." For a while Winter did live in the Agustin residence which was not too far from the city center.

"I'm going to visit dad, dad lives out of town xxx. I'll take you there. Now that I'm not a duke anymore, I'll just be his son without any burden. Like I'm the man you're used to." Winter pulls Flo into her arms and the woman smiles happily.

"Flo, there's a place we should go."

Flo looks at Winter and sees the wall clock, "Tomorrow morning?" Because the time has shown at 2 am.

"Not." Winter smiled revealing his neat teeth. "Now." The man wakes up and wears his clothes as well as Flo who is confused but still follows Winter.

"Where are we going??" Winter takes Agustin's car and doesn't answer Flo until they arrive at Luckingham's west side door.

"Huh? This is??! What if someone sees?!"

"Ssttt! Don't worry about it." Winter put her index finger in a sign so Flo doesn't sound too tight.

"It's..." Flo stared at the pear tree that was still standing there, upright and flowering very beautiful. "This is a dream??" Flo shut her mouth in disbelief. "Why the whole way here don't we meet anyone??"

Winter just caressed Flo's head, of course he told Ethan to set it up because he wanted to bring Flo here.

"You remember I once fell from this tree, you pushed me until my hand cracked because you wanted to snatch my late mother's bracelet that you were hiding?" Winter said, holding the old tree trunk, "Since then I've been afraid to climb up the tree and hate to see pear flowers." Then Winter walked and looked at the artificial pond that was there, with the implicit man entering the pool.

"Winter?!" Flo stared in disbelief. "Why did you go in there?! Quickly out the water's cold." Flo knelt by the pool to pull Winter.

"You also pushed me into the pool until I drowned and almost died." Winter laughs. "I've also been terrified of seeing the pool ever since, but only now have I come in here and not felt any fear." Winter holds Flo's outstretched hand for him.

With a serious face Winter looked at Flo. "Flower Amber Dulcan, will you marry me this ordinary man. Living a normal, quiet life being my only wife forever?"

Flo covered her mouth with one hand and her tears spread. "Yes I want Winter huuu huu.. I want!" The woman sobbed sobbing in response to Winter.

They walk home together, Flo leaning on Winter's arm. "If I had been sweeter, to say honestly about my feelings. Don't push you from the top of the tree or throw you in the pond. Will everything be different? Does that mean we don't have to go this far?"

Winter stared at Flo for a moment and sighed. "No. It'll stay the same, as long as I'm a grand duke and you're still the son that my father brought into Luckingham. With me being this kind of ordinary man I can love you so freely."

Winter stared at the light. "The elders of Ferkalon and the higher-ups and concubines who came from their relatives were competing for the power of the duchess. Old fox Aunt Leana on standby always wants to take you down waiting for the chance to take full power. Counselors and county administrators working together to build strength within Luckingham. All of that will tear us apart. Even if you're pregnant with my son I still have to think about the concubines. And in the end as long as my status is a grand duke I can't have you completely even if you want it and I want it so badly." Winter clasped Flo's fingers tightly.

"So Winter threw everything away..." Flo lowered her head.

"Isn't there no other way..." Winter smiled and stroked Flo's head. "As long as it's the only way I can get you. If I can't give you the duchess position then I'll throw away the duke's position."

"Winter...." Flo's tears come back where she remembers Winter rejecting her all this time and it's just Winter's way of protecting her.
