Utha, who was tasked by her academy to escort Lloyd who would inspect the western region, stood up as soon as she saw the special horse-drawn carriage she recognized. "Ah that master duke has arrived." He and several other bodyguards rushed to greet Lloyd on the western mountain border.
Utha marched as soon as the horse-drawn carriage stopped in front of her. He opens the door for Lloyd to come down, and Lloyd goes down to help Camell.
"Master duke." Utha greeted formally.
But before Lloyd answered, Camell shouted first in surprise to see his best friend. "Utha?!!"
Lloyd silently glanced at Camell not so happy, making the woman shut her mouth. "Umm I mean sir Chandellum."
"It must be exhausting for you to go through the usual path to get here." Lloyd stared at the few soldiers standing there. "Where else??"
"No, mr. duke." Utha answered formally, the soldiers could arrive first because they had left since dawn. "The others were going around to monitor the foothills of the mountain as per the duke's master's orders."
Lloyd looked at Camell for a moment. "I have to meet the soldiers to give additional duties, you're here first with sir Chandellum."
"Good lord duke." Camell just nodded small and turned flat.
Lloyd raised an eyebrow and explained to Camell when there was no need. "Because the western region is a remote place you'll be tired if you follow me where."
Camell simply nodded her lips.
Who wants to come..??
"Waaaaahhh has gotten along!" Utha put on a mocking face as soon as Lloyd had disappeared from their sight.
"You don't have to follow me!" Camell pinched Utha's stomach cutting the man grimacing in pain.
"Akhs! It hurts! Hurt Camell!" Utha rubbed her stomach as soon as Camell took off her pinch. "I heard you were sick, but seeing your strength it seems you've made a full recovery!"
"Well, the rumors spread so much yah."
"That's how the nobles are if there is a little rumor already spread. Then you...Where is the duchess candidate who wants to come here??" Utha put on a face of dislike. "Esthus's tour was indirectly like the official date of the first noble couple. It is true that at this time master duke is still my superior but if this is how it feels...!" Utha continued to grumble not to stop worrying about Camell's state.
Camell smiled warmly at Utha who cared so much for her. "Thank you Utha."
"Why do you say all that??!" Utha is still upset with Lloyd's behavior.
"I asked to come here." Camell Clear.
"Huh?! Why?!" Utha could not hide her surprise.
"I just want to see this place in person." Camell smiled steadily.
Utha fell silent and she recalled how Camell had been less concerned about the issue of political society. "Well, you are really grown up now." Utha even mocked Camell while patting the woman's head. "Not in a bad sense well, you're really Camellia yeah!"
"Whataa! Males is so horrified to talk about you yah!" Camell kicked Utha's leg and chased after the man.
"Don't hit dong!!" As much as possible Utha avoided Camell's blow even though the woman did not stop chasing after him.
Lloyd who came back from below saw Camell and Utha who were so familiar joking and laughing both with a dislike look.
"How dare to suck me up yah!" Camell still pulls Utha and jokes without realizing Lloyd is in front of them.
"Oh akhatt! Haha!" Utha is unaware of Lloyd's whereabouts. But instantly he woke up. "Ah you've returned master duke??" Utha immediately whizzed.
Camell was also surprised to instantly smile stiffly. "The duke master's business is done??"
"Good lord duke!" Perhaps because Utha had long served Lloyd she realized the tone of the voice and without refuting immediately went and carried out her duties.
Lloyd came back to Camell a little cold. "I know you and sir Chandellum were old friends since childhood from the academy.you guys look more familiar than I thought."
Camell was a little confused. "Yes, it is."
Lloyd just kept quiet and did not respond to Camell, so she turned her body back into the carriage again. "... let's go."
Camell was indeed confused by Lloyd's attitude but she followed the man without much talking. It was getting dark, and they continued their journey towards the city center. Camell put on a gloomy face, because even though the sun was starting to set she could clearly see the arid scene during the trip. How dry land is in desperate need of water, then the river that looks at the bottom.
"That's the Aruan River." Lloyd pointed to the river drying up. "People used the river water for daily purposes as a support for their lives. But now the water's receding so that it looks like the bottom." Lloyd looked at Camell. "You're disappointed that the planting match has not yielded results??"
With a sad face yet trying to smile Camell shook her head. "No. It's just beginning, it's gonna take a long time to see results."
"really. It's just beginning."
Finally at 7 pm they arrived at the city center and entered a large inn there. "This inn is the best here, even though the building is old. But hold on for the next few days." Lloyd helps Camell get off the horse-drawn carriage.
Camell just nodded and looked around. Very quiet.there was no welcome from the inn employees even. Are there no guards??
"Where's sir Chandellum??" Camell asked as they entered the quite quiet inn.
"Do you have any business with him??" Ask Lloyd ketus.
"No." Answer Camell. "I'm just wondering if there really aren't any bodyguards and this inn is deserted once."
"They watch from an invisible place. And why is this inn deserted of course because this region is experiencing drought, who wants to tour here." Lloyd.
"But those of us who travel here are more comfortable if only two, right??" The man smiled slantedly. "Let's hurry, our room is ahead. We take a shower and we'll have dinner ready."
"Ka.. shall we??" Camell asked to be sure when they had stopped in front of the door. "You mean this duke's my room??"
"Yes right." Jawan Lloyd is short.
"Then master duke's room??" Ask Camell heart.
"Here." Again the man answered briefly. "Let's go in." Lloyd's about to open the door.
"Wait!!!!" Camell held Lloyd's shoulder and stood against the door. "Se. a minute. Although officially we are already engaged but it is not possible to not have one room like this dong!"
Lloyd was silent at Camell. "It's precisely because the status of the fiancee does not matter if you use one room?" Answer the man flat.
"It doesn't matter how master duke means?! Arriving like this without any preparation...!!"
Lloyd clasped her hands on the door right next to Camell's head and smiled and brought her face closer to Camell. "....Like these?? Whatchu mean?"
"Sa. me and that. mister duke will be formally engaged but if you think do..." Camell hated her tongue to be a mute and stuttered in speech. Don't get close!!!
"Do what..?" Lloyd drew his face closer to Camell and smiled wider with a mocking face.
This crazy guy... really don't know what?? Why even ask?!
Camell even twitched and tilted her face because Lloyd was really paraded that was not safe for him.
