48. Duty Warrant

Ary and Bayu embrace each other in front of Marina's mother. After hugging Bayu, Ary leaves Bayu's house.

The next day, early in the morning Ary left for Jogja to work. As usual, he always rode his favorite motorcycle to the hospital where he served.

Arriving at the hospital, many employees there greeted him. Ary is a well-known doctor at the hospital, due to his cold hands. He is also a doctor who is friendly to everyone, and patient with his patients.

A moment after Ary entered her room, a female nurse came to meet Ary.

"August, Doc!" greet the nurse after knocking on the door.

"Anything to help?" answer Ary.

"important huh? Alright then, I will face him." replied Ary with a smile.

The nurse left Ary's room. After the nurse had left the room, Ary immediately caught up with her. Ary kept his bag first.

Ary knocked on the door of the hospital head room where he was serving. Doctor Rahmat is the head of the hospital where Ary serves.

"Assalamualaikum, morning sir." said Ary so offered entrance by doctor Grace.

"Wa'alaikum hail warahmatullahi wabarokatuh, morning. Please sit!" replied doctor Grace.

Ary sat down in front of the doctor's desk Grace.

"Do you know why I called you here?" ask doctor Grace after Ary sits down.

"I don't know, Sir!'' answer Ary.

"Two days you leave for Kulonprogo Regency. There will be built a special hospital of internal medicine. Based on the results of last Sunday's meeting in Kala, you were chosen as the representative of this hospital." explained Dr. Rahmat.

"Sorry sir, I am not refusing. But there are still many senior doctors in this hospital. Why am I appointed, not another doctor?" ask Ary.

"Relax, you're not alone. Two more doctors will be with you later. One from Panti Rapih hospital and the other from Cipto Mangunkusumo hospital." replied doctor Rahmat.

"Not that, sir! I mean, why should I represent from this hospital. Not another doctor" Ary said. He is heavy on the job.

"You get a good chance don't get thrown away. Not necessarily you'll get a chance like this again."

"Good, Sir! If someone will not accept if I represent, I will step down." replied Ary.

"This is your duty warrant. Congratulations!" doctor said Grace while shaking Ary's hand.

"Thank you, sir." replied Ary while standing about to leave the room after shaking hands with the doctor Grace.

Ary left the room and returned to his room.

"Hufft... Why is this sudden? I don't have any preparation yet, cook anyway two more days to go? I haven't asked permission from Dad and Mommy." Ary monologue.

Ary read the duty warrant earlier, it was written how long he had to be responsible for the construction of the hospital in the destination city.

"Whaatt!!! At the earliest three months, how would I ask them permission?" Ary was anxious thinking about the task he had just obtained.
