A Tale of Ary

16. Extracurricular

Monday morning was the busiest day. So is Ary, because today is the first day he entered after a month of not going to school. The accident left Ary unable to go to school for a month, exactly four weeks, two weeks in the hospital and two more weeks of rest at home.

"Ary, I'm going to school with my dad!" said dad in the dining room. They are currently eating breakfast.

"Why not bring your own bike, Dad?" ask Ary

Ary followed her father while carrying her school bag. Then Ary hugged the mother, kissed both of the mother's cheeks, last he kissed the mother's hand.

"Ary pamit mother, assalamualaikum." said Ary.

"We're leaving, bun! Assalamualaikum." Dad was already sitting behind the wheel waving his hand.

"Wa'alaikum salam warahmatullahi wabarokatuh.", replied the mother.

Dad started the car engine and then drove the car at a moderate speed. Ten minutes later, they arrived in front of Ary's school. Dad stopped across from Ary's school building.

"Later tell me if you want to go home, don't suddenly let me set the time" said the father before Ary got out of the car.

"Yes, yeah. Ary come in first." Ary took my father's hand and kissed him.

"Be careful crossing the street!", father's message again overprotective.

"Yes, dad. There was an officer across the street.", Ary began to be lazy to face the father's attitude is too excessive.

Ary started crossing the street, across the street Alex was waiting for Ary's arrival. Alex accidentally waits for Ary at the security guard post next to the school gate.

"Morning, baby." greet Alex as soon as Ary enters the school gate.

Ary was shocked to hear Alex's words. He forgot he had Alex's love yesterday.

The four of them headed to class to store bags before attending Monday's flag ceremony. Because the school is so disciplined, most of its students were already in the field before the bell rang. This is done to avoid punishment for being late in line.

An hour later the flag ceremony was over. Before the students disbanded the ranks, there was an announcement from the teacher BK (Counseling Guidance).

Mr. Agus as a teacher of BK, announced that all tenth graders must attend extracurricular activities of the school. Extracurricular is intended to know the talents of students and hone these talents.

Extracurricular must be followed to add value to the personality of the students. There are several extracurriculars at this school, including Scouts, basketball, tennis, volleyball, pencak silat martial arts, dance, music arts and cadres (for OSIS administrators).

After the announcement was completed, the line was disbanded. All students return to their classes. And so did Ary and his friends, getting into his class.

"Ary, which one are you going with? We are the same!", said Enno. They are currently in the classroom waiting for the teacher to arrive.

"Gue wants to dong and ma y'all." Candra chiming. Candra stands next to Ary while leaning her pan*** on Ary's desk.

"Gue can't come, haven't got permission from your doctor. You know for yourself, I just went to school." replied Ary did not want his friends disappointed.

"Well!" the words Enno and Candra are in unison.

"Gimana dong, we are both the same as participating in the exculpation. What are we going to do, En?", asked Candra.

"There's a suggestion, Ar?", Enno asked Ary.

"What do you like? Can't keep running it?", Ary went back to Enno.

"For the children!", said Widodo, math teacher and their homeroom teacher, tenth grade A.

"Morning sir.." replied tenth grader A. All of the standing disciples directly ran to their respective seats.

The first break

Ary and friends are currently in the canteen discussing what excretions will follow. Not to forget also Alex, Anton, and Dheny also participated in Ary's entourage.

"Which you think is good, can be lived and you like. I have not been able to participate, I am still in the recovery stage. Later if it has been declared healthy right, then I joined your ma." Ary tries to give understanding to his friends.

Suddenly Bayu approached them, he had been eavesdropping on Ary and his friends.

"Ary, if you do not follow the excul, your parents must come to school to see Mr. Agus as a teacher BK and the responsibility of the school's exkul." Bayu.

"If not you, just follow the cadet excul. This excule does not sweat much, because there is not much movement. How?", Bayu gave a solution to Ary to follow the exculpation.

"Yes, brother. Ary thought about it first", replied Ary.

"Think carefully, there's still a week to decide" Bayu said.
