A Tale of Ary

30. Dr. Aryanti Ward, Sp.PD.

Seven years have passed, now Ary already holds the title of a specialist in internal medicine. With his brain intelligence, Ary was able to get the title of a specialist doctor. Even now he has become a PNS in a government-owned hospital in Jogjakarta.

Ary has never heard from Alex, since Alex left Indonesia never once heard from Ary. Anton and Eno as Ary's best friends do not want to share information about Alex.

"Good day, Doc! Doctor Fadli's patient has a decline, Doc" said one nurse as soon as she saw Ary coming to the care ward.

There was a patient with a history of chronic bronchitis who was entrusted by a senior doctor to Ary. The doctor had to take a leave of absence because there was a ten-day family event.

"Why can his condition decline, has not yesterday improved?" ask Ary.

"Yes, Doc. He did not want to take his medicine for a few days, so his condition has decreased." replied the nurse who tagged name Annisa.

Ary who heard the explanation from the nurse just shook her head. Lung disease if you stop taking the drug before it is declared cured, then you must repeat the treatment from the beginning. The drug must be taken routinely, and treatment should not be stopped without the approval of a doctor.

"There-there's! Show me where the room is, Sus!" ary said as he walked following the nurse, to the hospital room of the recalcitrant patient.

The nurse walks ahead of Ary to show the room where the recalcitrant patient is being treated.

"How long has he been in care here, Sus?" ask Ary.

"It's been two weeks, Doc." replied Sister Annisa.

"It's tired of living like him, Sus" Art claws with a smile. He did not think that there was a patient who went on strike taking medicine, but already knew what the situation was like.

"He said he was tired of taking medicine every day, Doc." replied Annisa with a smile.

Eventually they reached the ward of doctor Fadli's patient. The patient was named Renaldy Alif Pratama at the age of 21. Student status at one of the public universities in Jogjakarta.

"Good day, deck.." said Ary as soon as he entered the room. Ary hangs his sentence because he does not know the name of the patient.

"Renaldy Pratama, Doc" sister Annisa said.

"Aldy, how is today, any complaints?" ary asked approaching the lying Renaldy.

Alif who saw the arrival of Ary, just stared lazily towards Ary. But as soon as Ary approached her, she observed Ary's face. Suddenly he felt something different.

"Abang! Call me Brother!"

"You can call me Rendy" said Alif suddenly, but his eyes were still fixed on his beloved HP..

Ary just smiled at the words spoken by Rendy. When Ary entered the room earlier, Rendy showed her dislike by playing HP.

"Abang?! Oh, you must be the first boy in your family." guessed Ary.

"Sok knows! Who dares to bother me?"

"Loe here to do what? Do you want to see if I discuss my personal issues?" rendy said with a ketus.

"This is the doctor who replaced Fadli's doctor for a while, Brother" sister Annisa said kindly.

"Include me doctor Ary, I will take care of Abang during doctor Fadli's leave" said Ary with a smile as he reached out his hand to shake hands with Alif.

Alif does not want to accept Ary's helping hand, he remains indifferent and plays games on his HP.

"What is your complaint today" asked Ary.

Rendy was silent and did not answer Ary's question. He remained in his position, unwilling to move at all

"How do I check on you if you don't want to answer my question?" ary said in a voice as soft as possible, restraining emotions.

Ary is used to dealing with patients like Rendy. Only patience can deal with the nature of a patient like him.

"Gue wants to die! Don't take care of me!" replied Rendy while returning to play the game on her HP.

"Lho who?" Ary is still trying to interact with Rendy

"Loe's just a student who is still studying with a senior doctor, don't be pretentious!" ketus Rendy's.

Rendy still thinks that Ary is still a koas. Ary was silent, unwilling to respond to Rendy's words. No one believes if at a young age has earned a specialist doctor degree. And now Ary is in college again to get a pulmonary specialist doctor, incidentally Fadli's lecturer doctor.

Ary then turned her gaze to Sister Annisa, she coded Sister Annisa to leave them both. Sister Annisa catches a signal message from Ary directly leaving the place.

"Why do you want to die? In vain dong your treatment all this time. Pity your parents who seek healing for you. If you die later your boyfriend will look for another guy you know" said Ary with a smile that never faded from his lips.

"My parents will be happy because there is nothing else to take care of, nothing to disturb their busy lives. A boyfriend? Where there are girls who want to be with me, this disease." replied Rendy continued the game.

Ary who saw Rendy's behavior just shook his head, he had to be extra patient facing his patient on this one. He is an adult but behaves like a child.

"No cook at all? Can't believe me, not sure a handsome young man who studied at a famous University nobody wants. No parent would mind taking care of their children. They must be very lost if their son leaves them." replied Ary.

"Not believing it already! Get out of my room!" push Rendy.

"No need to be expelled, I will come out alone when it is finished. I'm here to check on the state of the patient. If I don't check on you, then I'm not doing my job well." replied Ary.

Ary then puts on his stethoscope, he starts to check on Rendy. Ary also checked Rendy's body temperature and blood pressure. Then write it down in the patient's book.

During the examination, Rendy secretly observes Ary's face and gives an assessment of Ary.

"Beautiful and interesting!' inner Rendy.
