Joshua could not fall asleep anymore, he just sat on the porch of Camilla's house looking at the black sky. Not sure what he was thinking, after ten years of falling asleep, this was the first time he could breathe free air again.
"Josh, you haven't slept?" Camilla, who was about to go into her room, shut herself down to see Joshua awake.
"I've been sleeping enough for years. "
"Oh, can I sit next to you?"
Joshua nodded, it seemed like Camilla wanted to tell him something.
"You know, ever since you disappeared ten years ago, I've been so lonely. Every time I look at your house, what I have in my memory is our childhood memories. I always pray, ask that you be found quickly, for years I waited for God to hear my prayer, but God had other plans. God let me see you again today. "
Joshua looked at Camilla softly, in his heart he also missed her little friend dearly.
"Josh, you must have been so scared. I can't imagine if I were you. Maybe I was crying when I found out my mom was killed to save me."
Joshua bit his lower lip as he re-imagined the events of the past few years that left him traumatized to this day.
Camilla realizes that Joshua needs someone to strengthen her and make her forget all the terrible things she's been through.
"Josh, are you alright? Don't worry, you still have me and my family, and your father and sister are still there." Entertain Camilla while gently rubbing Joshua's shoulder. Then Joshua clasped Camilla's hand tightly, helplessly holding back his tears. Her mother's smiling shadow and her mother's crying voice made her feel pain again.
"If mom and I were still in hiding, wouldn't that killer hurt mom?"
"Okay, but all the mothers in the world would rather have themselves hurt than have to see their children hurt. That is the sacrifice of a mother. You should be grateful for having a big-spirited mother so that you are still alive today." Camilla's Advice.
"I think so." Joshua wiped away his tears while smiling resolutely.
"Do you remember Grandpa Holland's story? I think the story is almost similar to yours."
"You mean?"
"A boy hiding from a terrible monster. Then he woke up after eight years. His mother died saving him. How could you forget that story?" Camilla stared in complete doubt.
"Owh, now I remember. What does that story mean? Why is the story so similar to the events I experienced?as if that story knew everything that was going to happen in my life?"
"Yeah, that's what I was thinking. It might be true, but how could the author have made up the story?"
"How do we know? Grandpa Holland is no more. If only Grandpa Holland were still alive, we could ask him. "Joshua said, his countenance turning moody.
As they throw questions at each other that they don't know the answer to, Aunt Catrine approaches them.
"Camilla, aren't you going to school tomorrow?" Aunt Catrine's reprimand saw her son still chatting late into the night.
"Yes, mom."
"Joshua, Auntie called my uncle who was out of town. Uncle said he'd send you to the same school as Camilla." Aunt Catrine said to the good news.
"Really, mom? Yeayy!" Camilla screamed happily while hugging Joshua then took turns hugging her mother.
"Thank you, auntie. I must have been very troublesome for you guys because of hitching a ride in this house. "
"Absolutely not, why do you think like that?"
"Come on, you guys are so nice to me. "
"Joshua, it'd be more fun if you went to school with Camilla."
"Yes, that's for sure, mom." Connect Camilla.

A delicious breakfast was prepared by Aunt Catrine. Camilla seemed to be enjoying her meal, as well as Joshua. They are like a family gathering.
The food menu provided is an egg omelet containing vegetables, meat, and also cheese, then Hasbrown or potato pancakes. It was Camilla's favorite food since childhood. Such foods are called American Breakfasts, as they are often eaten by Americans.
"Yes, mom. It's very tasty. Joshua you must add, you must have been hungry all this time. "
"Thank you, it's so delicious Auntie, you're so good at cooking." Joshua was honest.
"There's no need to be too complimentary, Joshua. "
The two of them had finished breakfast, suddenly someone knocked on Camilla's door.
"Excuse me, Aunt Catrine. Is Camilla ready?" Alex asked who was waiting for his girlfriend.
"Yes, let me call. "

"Hi Alex, can Joshua ride in your car? He's at school where we started today."
"Yup, okay. My car's on the engine, let's go together. "
"Thank you Alex, I thought you wouldn't let him come with us, but I was wrong."
"I'm not a stingy person to give you a ride."
"Ups, I'm sorry, hehe."
They arrived at the school at 07:30.
In school a lot of children ask all the things about Joshua, especially girls who suddenly very kepo. Joshua was confused to answer questions from them, because most of them asked for his home address, and things that were his privacy. Joshua couldn't possibly have told her that she lived with Camilla anyway or that strange rumors would spread. Joshua had to keep a few things secret, including his story of being asleep for ten years, so they wouldn't be suspicious.
"Guys, you're asking too many questions, you better not take too much care of people's lives. " Said Alex, sometimes he can be a helper.
"Well, is it hard to answer our questions?" Said someone who was astonished.
"Em, he may have a personal secret." Camilla helped answer their questions.
"Well, we won't ask again."
After a few minutes, Linda came and greeted the three of them.
"Hi, good morning." Linda's greeting made us look at her simultaneously.
"Hi Linda, introduce him Joshua, he's a new student." I said, Linda just nodded and greeted Joshua.
"When should we hang out together, it'd be nice to be in a crowd, wouldn't it?" My proposal.
"Yes, I'm sorry I've been so busy so I rarely get to see you on holidays. " Light Linda.
"Then tomorrow we have to go four."
"I agree, do you guys want to have a picnic, try a culinary or should we go to the theater?" Alex suggests a place that Camilla would love to visit.
"Yes! Let's go to the theater!"
"Well, I'll ask my mother's permission first. " Reply Linda, she does have to get permission first every time she goes hangout.
"I'll just come along. " Said Joshua.
The bell rang and they sat on their benches. They studied at school from 08:00 to 16:30.
