A Long Slepping's

A Long Slepping's
The summer time

The winter has stopped, changing with the long-awaited summer. Summer is a long holiday season, the thing the Edio Thompson family always does is fish in the river on weekends.

The air temperature in the city of Dallas is about 29 degrees Celsius, they just arrived at the river which is a good distance from home, at 06.27 the sun just rose from the east, he said, warmth can be felt from sunburn that hits the skin.

Edio Thompson and his two sons Joshua and Jeremy, as well as Camilla, a neighbor who often played with them, again felt the natural scenery they were waiting for after the river froze in the winter.

Jeremy and Joshua ran towards the riverbank and opened their shirts and shoes, taking off the bag containing a change of clothes after that the two children immediately jumped into the cold and heavy river water. They were not afraid because the depth of the river was only as high as the stomach.

"I had expected the water to be as cold as ice cubes, my body shivered at once." Jeremy hugged his own cold body.

"But isn't it fun? although a little torturing." Joshua said in response.

While Edio prepared tools for fishing, he chose a place where more fish were inhabited. Camilla herself brought her fish food and her simple fishing gear, she started sprinkling food into the river water to lure the fish together and came to her fishing location.

"Cam, let's join us! " Jeremy's calling for Camilla to join.

"No, I can't swim, all this time my mother's allowed me to go to the river to fish, not to swim." Reject Camilla.

"I know you can't swim, but it's not deep." Joshua was convincing.

Camilla looked into the river to ensure the safety of the place. He does not want to drown or slip if he has to pass rocks mossy in some parts of the river. Joshua came towards him and reached out without being asked. Camilla clasped Joshua's hand and was cautious about plunging into the river.

"See? Aman, right? You will not drown, the possibility of an accident in this river is only dragged by the current when it is rushing, we are lucky because today the current is calm. " Obviously Joshua.

"But the water is so cold, it's crazy! " Camilla touched the water with both hands, then felt her body pierced.

"You should get used to swimming in cold temperatures, so as not to be surprised. "

"You know I don't like swimming. " Camilla said with a mouth that shook as it held its frozen body.

"Because you never practiced. "

"Yes, but more precisely because the water makes some parts of my body numb, like numbness. Ugh, I'm not strong Josh. " Camilla's face was pale, some parts of her body were reddened and she started scratching her body which appeared red spots.

"Wait here. " Joshua said as he ran towards his bag containing towels, change of clothes and a fairly warm jacket.

"Wear my towel first, Cam. Don't let you get sick, and my jacket should also be worn. " Joshua gave it to Camilla.

"Thanks, it looks like I'll just go home."

"Yes, let me take you."

"Why? our house is close from here, you still want to swim anyway, right? " Camilla said as she frowned.

"I'm afraid that if you get sick, I tell you to swim, I'm responsible. " Joshua answered, Camilla put her shoulders down, and Joshua shouted at her father telling her he was coming home. Edio simply nodded without asking anything.

***

"Camilla is cold allergic, that's why she shouldn't swim for long especially in cold water. His body will react immediately due to the allergy. " Aunt Elcia just told me when Camilla had already put herself in an unwanted state.

"That's why my aunt never allowed her to swim? " Task Joshua, it can't be lied to that he feels guilty for asking without knowing his best friend has allergies.

"Auntie warned him, somehow he's still breaking."

"If you know what's going to happen, why don't you just be honest with Cam? if you're honest, I won't force you to swim. "

" Yes, it's my fault."

"My fault, too, but there is no point in blaming the situation. You've been taking allergy medicine, haven't you? " Joshua reminded.

"Yes, I gave me that. "

"Good, rest and make sure your body stays warm wearing a blanket. "
