A Long Slepping's

A Long Slepping's
A gripping night

Today Joshua felt lonely, how not, Jeremy and his father went to the grandmother's house located in the city of Colorado. The trip is about 13 hours and 15 minutes if measured from the city of Dallas in the part of Texas they live in.

Only he and his mother Jenna, who chose to stay at home. Camilla also went on vacation with her family to California, considering the boy was eager to go to Disneyland during school holidays.

"Mom, what are you watching?" Joshua saw his mother change television channels.

Jenna turned her head for a while towards her son who was sitting next to her. "Just look at the latest news."

Joshua nodded, they listened to the news anchor who was telling the latest criminal or case.

"We got a report from the scene of a mysterious murder in a house in the Dallas area, a family of three family members who were victims of murder. The culprit has not been caught and the case is still under investigation by FBI agents, forensic doctors and cooperating police. There were no witnesses in the incident, CCTV is also still in the checking stage, on the CCTV camera that was caught there was only a figure dressed in black and not seen so clearly. Police said it was difficult to arrest the perpetrator because of the lack of evidence, and no trace was left. "

Some news broadcasts on other channels also did not stop reporting the murder case which is still not clear the cause. Joshua held his mother's hand, hearing the news made him start thinking negatively.

"What should we do, mom? They said the killer hasn't been caught, right? " Say, worry and fear.

"Relax baby, mom is here. We'll be safe as long as all access to this house is locked, don't let a stranger break into our house. Before anything bad happens, we better get ready. "

"Yes, mom. I get it." Answer Joshua. He began to lock the windows and doors until the meeting and turned off the lights and went into the room. Tonight he will sleep with his mother to feel safer.

The hour hand changed every second and minute, Joshua had yawned many times, but his troubled mind forced him not to fall asleep, as a boy he should be able to be the protector of his mother despite his age of eight.

The boy saw that his mother had fallen asleep, while he was still agitated. Joshua got up from the bed and walked towards the living room, he pulled the curtain slightly and looked at the street in front of his house. Slender. There was not even the sound of a barking dog or an owl on top of a tree.

His eyes caught the all-black-clothed figure walking quickly, unexpectedly the mysterious figure wearing the black head covering stopped right in front of his house. Joshua tried to clarify his vision because of the illumination outside. But the figure turned towards him and found him peeking out of the window.

Joshua felt like a dream because he could not move his frozen body to see the figure begin to walk towards his house. In a panic he closed the curtains and ran to his mother's room.

"What's? What the hell are you saying? You mean you saw the killer? "

"Yes, the killer's outside." Joshua was clearly worried.

Jenna takes Joshua to the basement or basement where he keeps old things. They hide hoping the killer won't find her.

The sound of footsteps was felt in the sky of the floor sky made of wood, the figure managed to enter by breaking down the tightly locked door. From the basement, Joshua could not take off his mother's increasingly powerful hand.

"What should we do, mom? " ask Joshua while whispering.

"Just pray, God will protect us. " Say Jenna tried to calm down despite the gripping circumstances.

"out! Anyone in this house, get out! I know you guys must be hiding somewhere! I will find you, because you cannot go anywhere, no one will be able to help you. Show yourself or I will seek and finish you off with my own hands. " Speak the figure, his voice so heavy and sharp, his threatening tone seemed intimidating to anyone who heard it.

"Mom, I'm scared." Said Joshua who was trying to hold back his cries.

"I know, it's okay, breathe easy baby, don't be afraid." Jenna stroked her son's hair while smiling bracingly.

The sound of loud footsteps drew closer, realizing the deteriorating situation, Jenna released her hand from Joshua. He looked at his son's face while putting on a stern expression.

"Mom has to go, or neither of us will survive. Sorry baby, take good care of yourself here. I know you're a strong boy and can go through everything alone." Jenna's message is that she wants to confront the killer in order to protect her son, but she's not sure she can beat him.

Jenna came out of the basement quietly, she did not want to make a sound that would be heard by the murderous figure. He was about to go to the kitchen to pick up a sharp tool as a form of protection and resistance himself. But the killer was behind her before Jenna could reach for anything.

The sound of screaming mixed with pain rang out to the basement room. No words can explain how devastated she was to be a witness to her own mother's death. There was a sense of disbelief, disappointment, and regret because he could do nothing but have to accept a cruel fate. Joshua closed his eyes, praying to God until drowsiness approached him and brought him into a deep sleep into another realm.
