A Light Fountain

The past is bad

That night it rained heavily with thunderous lightning bolts.

Inside the large and magnificent house stood a 10-year-old girl in the doorway of the room. He looked frightened, his eyes wide, between surprise and fear he began to cry and scream calling his mother's name. "Mothers... Mum..."

Seemed in a dark room, in front of him a woman hanging.Once in a flash of light entered from the window of the room, until faintly seen the figure of his mother who hung it.

The voice ripped the reverie of Assena.

"Miss Sena, sir is calling to come down for dinner soon." Bi Nem's voice was a housekeeper.

"Good bi" replied Assena.

Lazily and flat-faced expression Assena opened the door and stepped down the stairs.

At the dinner table there is his father, lord Arkan, stepmother, mistress Evelin, and also his half-sister isabella.

"Sit baby!" Tell his father with a smile.

Assena sat with her flat face, ignoring the greetings and smiles of her father and stepmother.

Y**a, although Evelin is only a stepmother but she is being nice to Assena. Different disinetron that tells stepmother is always evil. Although Assena never thought of it.

Braakk.. Assena half-crashed the table and stood up. "Bi Nem please take dinner to my room!" he said with a firm tone and a flat face, as if he did not like the situation and the people around him.

"Ba good miss." Bi Nem stammered.

Seeing his eldest daughter go up the stairs, Arkan exhaled slowly and closed his eyes.

Evelin rubbed the back of Arkan's hand. "Maybe one day he will change, with time he can forgive us and can find his happiness" said Evelin full of guilt.

"Mom why do you always behave like that, do you not like us??" bella asked with her innocent face.

"Don't love, Sena's sister really likes and loves us, just that you have to understand her attitude, don't think like that anymore dear." Evelin replied with a gentle smile by rubbing Bella's hair.

Isabella just nodded.

Assena's room.

Assena stood in front of the window glass staring blankly out the window.

Tok tok tok tok

"This lady aunty brought her dinner" said bi Nem.

"Come in bi and keep it on the table." Assena answered who was still standing without looking a bit.

"Aunt excuse me, miss" said bi Nem to leave and close the door.

Assena was still standing facing the window, she had no taste in touching her dinner.

assena rarely smiles, quiet does not say much. Even at school, Jasmine doesn't have many friends, only her only close friend. Assena is in 3rd grade High School and Isabella is still in SD. Assena and Isabella attended an elite and famous school because they came from a rich family.

The reason Assena was cold and disliked to her father and stepmother was that she assumed Arkan was having an affair with Evelin, causing her mother Anna to commit suicide.

8 Years ago when Anna and Arkan married at the age of 12 years and have 10-year-old Assena. Arkan had an affair with Evelin and was secretly married, even having a child named Isabella who had just been born. Shortly after Isabella's birth, Anna learns of Arkan and Evelin's affair. Anna is already hurt and disappointed which makes Anna depressed and suicidal.

Assena grew up to be a quiet, cold and hateful girl over Arkan and Evelin.
