A Girls Revenge's
28.Unexpected event

One month later passed quickly, for almost a month it was not any oddity, the cases related to serial killers were gone and replaced with ordinary cases.

And after the investigation of the eighth victim, the police lost their clue regarding the Cold-Blooded Killer to date, the last clue was the location where the car belonging to the eighth victim was last time not being able to help much.

For the next few days, the police chief called on all police to be more vigilant and conduct a more rigorous investigation, only two victims left before there really is, he said, the police are more often patrolling around places that may occur similar cases.

Soojin comes out of her room, she just finished taking care of the data on the case that she just completed since yesterday, lately she often investigates the case of planned disappearances, but she investigates herself. Ever since Sunhyung said he wasn't feeling well last month, he's been going somewhere when he came back and asked where he was just to say 'there's a little business'.

Soojin walks towards the evidence room, she still has to check the evidence for some cases.

When he got there, he was greeted with a man in police uniform, but his face could not be seen because he was wearing a mask, he was looking for something among the pile of evidence.

"Mianhae?!" Pekik Soojin on purpose.

The man seemed to flinch in surprise, then he turned towards Soojin.

"What are you doing here? This room shouldn't be entered by anyone else unless he's a detective and a forensics." Soojin.

The man lowered his head, "Mianhae, I was asked to look for one of the pieces of evidence by one of the forensic team members, because they were a little busy so ask me for help." Reply to that man.

"What evidence was asked to be found?" Soojin asked as she stared at the man from head to toe.

"A book."

"Book?" Soojin raises her eyebrows confused, "What book?"

"Say the book was found on the case a week ago."

Last week there was an attack case, the victim survived but the perpetrator has not been found to date. In addition, a plain black book was found in the locked closet of the victim. The book seems like a diary, because it is like a life story written by the victim, therefore the book is used as one of the evidence.

"Oh, arraseo," Soojin walked up to one of the shelves and looked for the book the man was referring to.

It wasn't until two minutes that Soojin found the book.

"This book?" Ask Soojin to make sure while showing her the book she has in her hand.

"I think it's right." Reply to the man.

Soojin walked over and handed the book over. When the man was about to receive it, Sunhyung's call caught their attention.

"Yinz!" The two of them turned towards the door where Sunhyung was standing in the middle of the door while holding his chest.

"Wae?" Soojin asked in annoyance, she was still angry with Sunhyung over a matter two days ago. The book he was presenting has been recalled.

The man cursed inwardly, why did anyone even come at that moment.

"What are you doing?" Instead of answering Sunhyung asked back.

"She was asked by the forensics team to retrieve one of the pieces of evidence on the case a week ago." Reply Soojin.

"Mianhae, I don't think it can be given yet." Sunhyung said and walked into the room.

"Wae?" Ask Soojin.

"I was asked to re-investigate last week's case with all the evidence." Reply Sunhyung while putting both his hands in the jacket pocket.

"But I'm in charge of solving the case, why are you being asked to re-investigate?" Ask Soojin again.

"We'll talk about it both later."

Soojin screeched, "Ck, arraseo," Then she looked at the man, "Mianhae, I'll give the forensic team the book if it's done with the case." Soojin.

"Nee, cogyo." The man lowered his head and walked out of the room.

'Why did Yoon Sunhyung come at a time like this?!' The man's mind was upset.

"So?" Soojin said after the guy actually left.

"Mwo?" Ask back Sunhyung.

"Are you having PMS or what? Since the case five days ago you've always been angry." Sunhyung said he picked up the book Soojin was holding and left.

"Yes!!" Pekik Soojin, but Sunhyung ignored him and left the room.

"If it wasn't my partner, it would've hit his head until he was amnesiac." Soojin gets upset, and she leaves the room.

Soojn walked down the hall alone, not usually the empty 2nd floor passageway like there was no sign of life, he thought.

"Soojinnie!" Soojin looked back and saw Hyejin walking towards her.

"Eonnie wae?" Ask Soojin.

"Did you see Sunhyung?" Ask Hyejin back.

"Nee, but she went somewhere, just now" replied Soojin despite still feeling annoyed. "Why indeed?"

"Seojun oppa needs his help to hack a cell phone." Reply Hyejin.

"Mobile? What cellphone?" Ask Soojin.

"Division members found the cell phones of the victims who had allegedly disappeared in one of the places that people rarely pass." Reply Hyejin.

"What do you mean by a victim's cell phone?"

"Nee, those phones can't be turned on, not even the data can be opened" Hyejin said. "If the problem is like this then only Sunhyung can handle it."

"Yes," muttered Soojin.

"Well I'll look for it later, come on, we'll be asked to Seojun oppa's room." Take Hyejin and pull Soojin's hand.

"A-arraseo." Soojin just resigned her arm pulled by Hyejin.

Soojin School.

Yejun, Seoyoon and Yerin had just walked out of the school building. Today the students came home early because the teacher held a meeting for the final semester exam as well as the graduation exam for grade 3.

"Sojin often doesn't go in these days." Seoyoon opened the topic.

"Maybe it's because more and more cases are happening these days." Yerin.

"I think it will be difficult for him when our graduation exam later, he missed a lot of material." Yejun Sahut.

"Certainly,"

They stopped at a traffic light.

"I'm first." Yejun.

The direction of Yerin and Seoyoon's return was different from Yejun and Soojin, so they often walked home together only until that crossing.

"See you tomorrow, don't forget to tell Soojin about the test!" Reply Seoyoon slightly shouted because Yejun had crossed first.

"Armachi!"

Yejun was walking on a fairly quiet street, there were only two three people who were on the same road.

His steps stopped and his gaze was stuck on an alley that he had passed, whether he was the wrong one to see or how, there was someone dressed all in black who was holding a knife.

Yejun was staring at something near the person's feet, why does it look like a human body? Because around the person there is no illumination at once because it is in the narrow perch Yejun can not see clearly.

Not wanting to get into trouble which might involve her deciding to leave, maybe she just saw something wrong near the person's feet.

But just a few steps suddenly his mouth was smothered by a cloth from behind, Yejun immediately tried to rebel.

"Be quiet, I know you saw me,"

From her voice she was a man, and what did she mean she saw him earlier? Was he the one who was being held earlier? There was no time to think for Yejun, as the longer his body grew limp, from the cloth it faintly smelled sleeping pills.

And until it all went dark.
