Soojin gets out of her house and enters the car and drives her to the police headquarters. Last night he came home because Je Yeon had come there so there was no other choice but to return home.
When he reached the crossroads, Soojin stopped his car because there were many other cars that stopped in the middle of the road.
'Something's wrong, ' Soojin rushes out of his car carrying his bag and approaches the people who are huddled on the side of the road around a black car.
"Cogiyo," Soojin passed the crowd and saw the car with the door open.
"Mianhae, what's going on?" Soojin asked one of the women there.
"So someone found a body in that car." Reply to the woman, from the look of her face she looked shocked.
Soojin is certainly surprised because there are usually no bodies of people dying on the side of the highway. Then he approached the steering door.
"Cogiyo, I'm a member of the police force" Soojin said showing her police badge. The people who were near the steering door immediately took a few steps back.
Soojin saw the body, he was a man. Then he took out the white handkerchief he had carried in his bag and put it on.
Soojin lifted the victim's wrist, 'It looks like he died not yet for 24 hours, there are no physical injuries whatsoever on his body, and there is no sign that he was in an accident,' inner Soojin then she flips the victim's wrist and looks at the back of her hand.
Something pictured there made Soojin shut up, 'Stem code?!'
He rushes off the glove on the right and pulls out his phone. He quickly contacted Seojun.
📞📱: "Yeobeseo?"
📞📱: "Oppa! There's a problem."
📞📱: "What problems?"
📞📱: "When I was on my way to headquarters, I saw There was a crowd on the road and when I checked it turned out there was a car with a corpse in it. But the problem is that there's a barcode on the back of the victim's hand." Obviously Soojin then looked at the victim's body.
📞📱: "Mwo?!"
📞📱: "I don't know what happened, there are no signs of accidents on the road or in the body of the car. Even the victims were not injured at all like the previous victims."
📞📱: "Turn the situation there until I get to TKP, and I'll call the office to send help there as soon as possible."
📞📱: "Good."
The call ended, Soojin went back to check the victim's body for a while, then she looked at the people around her.
"Who found the victim's body the first time?" Ask Soojin.
A girl in school uniform raised her hand.
"I-i." Answer in a soft voice.
"Come on," the girl walked over to Soojin.
"How did you find the victim's body?" Ask Soojin.
"I-I was on my way to tutoring after school by taxi, and then I saw the car, I saw him this morning and when I was passing by the car it didn't move from his place in the least. Then I stopped and checked it out of curiosity, and then I found the body, I screamed and then people stopped and came up to me, and then you followed." Obviously the girl.
Soojin sighed softly as she closed her eyes for a moment, "For while you're not going anywhere, the police will probably need your testimony." Soojin opened her eyes again.
"And as for the people who have been here since the body was first found, please don't go anywhere until the police arrive, and please testify honestly." Pekik Soojin's. And be carried away by them.
Not until 20 minutes, police ambulance car and Seojun car arrived at the location. Members of the investigation division who came directly blockaded the area and some questioned witnesses who found victims.
"Soojinnie's." Call Seojun walking over to Soojin who is looking at the forensic team who is examining the car and the body of the victim while folding his hands in front of the chest.
"Seojun oppa." Soojin wakes up from her daydream and looks at Seojun.
"What about the victim?" Tanya Seojun came to see the victim's car.
"When I examined him, his body wasn't too stiff and cold, so the provisional estimate of him dying wasn't until 24 hours and it was only about 16 hours ago, but it was better to wait for the forensic report," Reply Soojin again stared at the victim's body.
"Oh yeah, where's Sunhyung? She's not with you oppa?" Ask Soojin.
"So I called her on the way, she said she was gonna catch up a little late because she had to take care of something important." Reply Seojun. And Soojin just boo'oh'.
Not long after, Shinju who had just finished investigating the car and the body of the victim along with other officers approached the two detectives.
"How's it?" Ask Seojun to the point.
"Maybe some were just our estimates until the victim's body was taken to the hospital for a follow-up autopsy" Shinju said. "The victim died around 7:30 p.m., there was no poisoning reaction or any chemical thing, the reaction was the same as the previous victim." Shinju.
"What about the identity of the victim?" Ask Soojin.
"There is no certainty, no identification or clue that can be used as the identity of the victim." Reply Shinju.
"Then send the victim's body after a detailed examination to the hospital for further investigation." Said Seojun firmly.
"Good." Shinju came back to the other forensic team.
"Is there CCTV around here?" Tanya Soojin spread her gaze around the place.
"Minseok said that he had ordered his subordinates to install CCTV at every traffic stop because there were very frequent accidents. CCTV's also facing every direction." Reply Seojun.
"Then I'll ask the members to check into his CCTV premises." Soojin said and walked away.
Seojun approached the car where the victim was, he saw the victim's body for a moment.
"Excuse me Detective Seojun," call a forensic officer.
"What's wrong?" Ask Seojun.
"We found this stuck in the victim's shirt." Reply the officer thrust a plain bracelet in pitch black with a bell as a hanger.
Seojun received the bracelet, "Surely it doesn't belong to the victim?" Ask Seojun.
"We've confirmed it, and there's no clue about the victim in the bracelet." Reply forensic officer.
"Arraseo, you can continue the task," said Seojun.
"Good." The officer lowered his head a little and left.
Seojun stared at the bracelet, it seemed like he had seen this bracelet worn by someone he met often, but he did not remember who it was.
"Oppa." Call Soojin. Seojun turned his head and saw Soojin running a little towards him while holding her flaming phone. Seojun immediately hid the bracelet in his pocket, for a while he could not tell Soojin and the others about the bracelet.
"You got the tape?" Ask Seojun.
Soojin nodded softly, "Already, but all the CCTV had died around half-time 7 to half-time 8pm, so the footage of the victim's car coming here was nowhere." Reply Soojin.
