...⚫26 Days⚫...

Sunlight emerging from the crevices of the pentillation made Akari roll on her stomach trying to sleep again but she could not do so because the light was very disturbing her. Slowly getting up to sit down, Akari rubbed her eyes that were still not used to receiving light, after her vision began to clear her sense of sight caught the figure of a man sitting on the edge of her mattress. "Ohayo" The man greeted with a sincere smile on his face.

After gaining all her consciousness Akari pouted looking at this man in front of her. "And Akari told you not to go into Akari's room without permission, this brother is how it is." The man who had been known was her brother Akari just chuckled softly while gently rubbing her sister's hair. "It's been said that you don't like seeing your waking face." Akari was even more pouting at the strange explanation of her brother, what was interesting about his face when he just woke up, not just once this brother went into his room in the morning to see his face, and not only her brother Hanabi, but also a cute little girl who is her sister.

"Now Hanabi has finished preparing breakfast." Akari nodded obediently and when her Brother had left her alone in her room Akari got up and started her daily ritual.

"Good morning brother!!" Akari smiled before answering Hanabi's enthusiastic greeting, she placed herself in an empty seat right beside her father. The breakfast event took place in an orderly and quiet without any conversation because the Akari family so uphold the value of politeness in any case including the way of eating a simple thing.

After finishing breakfast, the Akari family soon parted ways to carry out their respective daily routines. Kai who is Akari's older brother is also a high school boy as well as Akari, but both of them studied in different places while Hanabi he was still a Junior High School child. Because of this, Akari left alone to go to school, the distance from the school from her home is also not too far maybe about 12 minutes walk.

"Ohayo Akari." Akari was a little jolted in shock when Sayaka suddenly jumped against her from the crossroads. After finishing overcoming her shock Akari smiled and returned her best friend's greeting.

The two walked side by side quietly, Sayaka of course walked with a little running, her legs jumping occasionally with her hands swinging beside her body. "so, you've strengthened your resolve?" Akari nodded enthusiastically at her best friend's question. "It's for my feelings, isn't it?" Akari asked back with a smile that did not fade from her face.

"What feeling?" Akari and Sayaka turned around in shock as a hoarse voice spoke behind them, there they looked at Taki who was also staring directly into Akari's eyes with a questioning look, he is confused to answer how but thanks to Sayaka who answers Taki's question because Sayaka herself knows Akari certainly can not answer it herself. "Of course about feeling like that, you know what I mean, right? Like a girl's feelings for a pira." But instead of making things better, Sayaka's answer increasingly attracted Taki.

Turning his attention from Sayaka to Akari, Taki looked seriously at Akari's eyes. "Is that true?" Now that Akari was really scared, she knew very well Taki was a stubborn person, she would not give up before getting whatever she wanted. Not believing her voice Akari just nodded weakly.

Taki sighed softly then placed both his hands in his pants pocket and stared ahead with a stern look. "Then I'll go first." With that Taki accelerated his pace leaving Akari and Sayaka staring at his slowly disappearing back. "Is it just me or is he a little weird today?" Sayaka monologues herself in confusion staring at Taki who has disappeared behind the intersection of the next road, Akari does not answer Sayaka's question but she knows Sayaka is right.

The two walked in a soothing silence stuck in their own minds. Sayaka recalls the uneasy and curious look Taki gave Akari when she found out Akari had a man she loved, It's possible that Taki was jealous, agitated and afraid to hear Akari mention the name of the man she loves and turns out not to be her. Maybe that's why Taki decided to leave without hearing Akari's answer. With that thought Sayaka smiled, it seemed like Akari had a chance for that feeling.

But a frown re-emerged on Sayaka's forehead when she recalled the worried look Taki gave Akari, and that gaze was very often seen by Sayaka of her older brother. Sayaka's eyes were round she turned to look directly into Akari's eyes.

On the other side Akari was confused, Sayaka suddenly just smiled to herself but then her eyes bulged almost as big as a plate. Sayaka takes Akari's hand and says the two must speed up their steps. "Not hot." Murmured Akari felt the temperature of Sayaka's body when her hand was held by Sayaka, she was completely confused by the strange behavior of these two friends. And for once Akari really cursed her slow brain.

After passing through the school gate Sayaka immediately ran leaving Akari confused by what she was doing. Akari decided not to overload her brain too much by thinking about Sayaka. After being in the classroom Akari only found Taki sitting daydreaming staring at the window on his left that showed the school yard that was still empty because it was still early for the students to come to school. Attempting to tease Taki, Akari sat in front of Taki folding her hands on the table and then placing her chin on top of her hands.

One minute, two minutes I don't know if Akari has no idea how long Taki is daydreaming, this is unusual for him. What he knows is that Taki is a person who is always firm and strong in facing challenges, this is proven by him who can finance and educate himself without help. Taki is an orphan, both of her masters died at the time of her birth she was deposited in an orphanage in this village but Taki decided to leave the orphanage at the age of 12 and live in the old residence of his master's people. Seeing Taki daydreaming as if he was thinking about the burden of his life, this was not the Taki that Akari knew.

"Taki-kun!" Akari finally decided to call Taki because she had grown tired of waiting too long. Taki whose name was called jolted in shock and turned his head to find Akari whose face was not far from him. Taki spontaneously pushed the table in front of him, pushing his body backwards to make it fall to the floor.

Worried Akari runs and circles the table to help Taki stand, Taki receives Akari's helping hand and then repairs the fallen chair, he sat himself on the chair while rubbing the back of his head that hit the floor.

"Actually what did Taki-kun think to daydream so?" Taki stopped rubbing his head and looked at Akari with a serious look. "I'm thinking about who you like." Akari just looked at Taki confusedly thinking about what Taki was saying, after half a minute thinking about it Akari's eyes widened and bowed her head hiding the red hue that was slowly creeping across her face.

"I'm just worried, if you choose the wrong guy as the one you like, I want to know who this guy you like is of course as a big brother it's natural for me to worry isn't it." Before Akari finished her speech, she had been cut off by Taki. "What did you say?" Taki asked after noticing himself cutting Akari's words.

Akari who had previously bowed her blushing face should now look at Taki's face with a shocked look. "Sister?" Akari asked to make sure that she did not hear wrong.

Taki just smiled gently and placed his hand on top of Akari's head while rubbing her gently. "Of course, it's only two months apart." Usually Akari will be happy with Taki's hand caress in her hair, but not this time. His feelings were completely shattered hearing the words of the man he admired. She brushed Taki off and kept him away while standing up "I'll go to the bathroom first." Akari said without looking at Taki's face and immediately ran away leaving the confused Taki. On his way Akari bumps into a man standing in front of the entrance, Akari knows that this man has witnessed his little scene with Taki yet he doesn't care, all he wanted was to immediately disappear and vent his grief.

"What's wrong with Akari-chan?" Asked the man that Akari hit earlier, Taki just shakes his head and does not know why Akari behaved that way. "Let's know, PMS may.well maybe we can celebrate Arashi who likes to be late now comes early."

...⚫26 Days⚫...

"So he only thinks of you as his sister?" Sayaka deduced the information Akari had given her, she did have such thoughts before but did not dare to tell it to Akari because she knew this must be difficult to Accept for Akari. Akari only nodded weakly while sprinkling fish pellets into the pond, she smiled slightly as the black-colored little koi calmed closer and began to eat the pellets.

"So you're going to continue?" Sayaka asked again, trying to make sure his best friend did not lose heart over the news he just knew. Without distracting her from the pond Akari nodded her head. "I've come this far with my feelings there's no way I can get rid of or stop my feelings. Because I believe in this eternal love of mine I will surely be happy one day." Akari answered while giving a reassuring smile that made Sayaka sigh in relief to hear her best friend was not discouraged.

"I'll be here until tonight, I'll have to give you white koi too." Sayaka is shocked to hear Akari's words, she stands up while giving an accusatory look. "You think it's safe for a woman to go out at night by herself huh? Moreover, you are a sweet and meek girl, surely a striped-nose man will bother you." Sayaka pouted after expressing her disapproval, she then crouched back down next to Akari who was also the same crouching. Akari did not overreact when she heard Sayaka refute her wishes because she already knew for sure Sayaka would be angry with her.

"I can't keep you company until night, you know I don't have the night time until seven o'clock, at least you ask Taki to accompany you, I'm afraid anything happens.."

"Don't tell him please, I don't want to make Taki-kun any more hassles that he has to work again after this." Akari instantly cut Sayaka's steam, she waved both her hands in the air in panic. Sayaka just sighed resignedly, she knew arguing with Akari was pointless even though Akari seemed to be a gentle girl yet inside she had a hard head, but still Sayaka is still worried about Akari at least she still has a backup plan.

"Then I go home first." Sayaka said and slowly stood up and left Akari but as she was about to turn at the intersection she turned back to face Akari. "Take care of yourself." He said before finally disappearing behind the classroom.

After making sure she was far away from Akari, Sayaka reached into her pocket to retrieve her phone. He immediately opened the Chat app and searched Taki's name there, after typing a few words Sayaka could finally go home quietly after reading a reply from Taki.

"What are you doing here?" A voice calling behind her made Akari turn her head and see a tall man walking towards her. He was completely terrified as the sound of footsteps drew closer, though, but he heaved a sigh of relief as the figure walked into a place that had sufficient lighting and revealed the figure of Taki slowly stepping towards him.

''Why is Taki-kun still in school?" Taki raised one of his eyebrows when he heard Akari's question. "I should have asked that."

"Ah, I'm just feeding this koi fish, you've been telling me since the night before, right?" Taki simply nodded and then stepped towards the chair that was not far from the lip of the pond, he slightly shifted Akari's bag to make enough space for her to sit down. "Why not be given just now so as not to go this way." Rejecting Taki clearly did not like the idea of Akari until the night was still in school.

"Here look at this." Akari points into the pond without answering Taki's question, Taki who is feeling all over Akari and sees the white koi swimming in the moonlight. "Uwahhhh, her color-changing koi is so cool." Taki shouted in surprise after seeing the white koi there while the one he remembered was black.

Akari giggles amusedly at Taki's ignorance. "No koi does not change color just in this pond there are two koi fish, one white and the other black. The exit is also alternating tablets, which are black during the day and white at night." After hearing Akai's explanation made her able to deduce the reason Akari was still here until nightfall. "So this is the reason why you're still here, but why it wasn't given this afternoon more."

Akari shakes her head to hear Taki's words that are similar to Sayaka's. "The black koi is greedy, she must have spent all her money and not let the white koi go away."

"It's already night time it's better we go home soon." Akari nodded obediently and walked beside Taki who was carrying her bag.
