Prologues

"There is a myth that if you feed koi fish in the back garden of the school and for 26 days see black and white koi come out together then your love will be reciprocated." I told him while biting the chocolate bar he bought from the canteen.

Sayaka replied indifferently shrugging her shoulders, Akari just said 'oh' only she forgot that Sayaka already has a girlfriend named Sai, actually Akari is quite envious of this best friend who already has a boyfriend, actually Akari, unlike her now seventeen-year-old self, she has never felt anything called dating.

Trying to look and observe the other parts of the pond Akari turned around and looked at Sayaka who was also crouching beside her. "You said there were black koi and white koi, but I didn't see the white ones."

Sayaka blinked a few times then she folded her arms in front of her chest trying to remember what she had forgotten to say to Akari. "Ughh" Sayaka becomes agitated when she forgets one important thing her grandmother told her. "I'm sorry Akari-chan, my grandmother said these two fish change their appearance, the white one at night and the black one during the day."

"Even so I won't give up, as Akari does." Akari clenched her hand and raised it upwards, seeing Akari's behavior makes Sayaka giggle amused even though Akari is gentle and also a little shy but she also has her witty side that occasionally comes out that changes the atmosphere.

Akari stared at the clockwork of the wall restlessly, she had already completely lost her patience waiting for the time to come home which felt like a very long time. "This is your highest daydreaming record." Akari just rolled her eyes hearing the joke of the man in front of her who was Taki Tachibana the man she always admired and loved.

"Where is everyone?" Akari asked finally realized only the two of them were in the classroom. "Home home you've been daydreaming too much."

"Why haven't you come home yet?" Akari asked again as she put all her books in the bag. "And let you go home alone?" Akari turned her head to look towards Taki who was also looking at her with a serious look. "I don't think it's my job anyway." At first Akari feels a surge of happiness hearing Taki's words, but at the end of the sentence Taki's feeling disappears as quickly as he appears.

After she finished putting all her things in the bag, Akari and Taki left school. The two walked side by side, Taki's head was always staring at the sky that had started to darken, he was indeed very fond of the beauty of the sky. It is not uncommon for Akari to see a dumbstruck Taki staring up at the sky, but when asked why Taki always smiles and shakes his head, but Akari knows that the smile is fake. She has known Taki since childhood, and therefore Akari can distinguish genuine and fake smiles.

Ignoring Taki who continued to look up at the sky Akari saw beside the road there was a pet store that he often visited. "You got a pet?" Taki asked again puzzled, who in his year Akari did not have any pets. Akari just shook her head slowly and the two continued on their way. "I bought it for a koi in the back yard of the school, pity no one is guarding it." Hearing that Taki smiled and put his hand on Akari's head while ruffling Akari's hair a habit that Taki had always done since they were children.

After ten minutes later they finally arrived at a house that has a traditional Japanese style, Akari beegeser and facing towards Taki, he bowed his head slightly. "Thank you for driving me." Taki just smiled and waved his hand unnecessary marks, he did suck with something that smelled formal but Akari occasionally did this because she had been taught since childhood by her father. "It's the night I just go home." Taki turned around and left, but only one step away and Akari was startled by a voice from behind the door. "Why is it too late?"

Taki turned around and saw a middle-aged man staring intently at him. "ah uncle sorry, I was at the picket class so Akari also had to wait for me to finish." Clearly Taki is lying so that Akari does not get into trouble from her father. "Then I go straight home uncle." Akari's father nodded and accepted the lie given by Taki.

After entering Akari's house directly to her room, there she placed fish food on the table while commenting on the smile on her face. "Then tomorrow's the first day huh, I can't wait for him."
