CHAPTER 18

Kin was lying on a sofa located in the basement of Dhananjaya Guest House. In front of him, Uncle Bob sat cross-legged on the floor. This figure who was like a father to Kin, was seen watching Kin who was fainting with worry. Then, on the other sofa, Nicko was seen sitting limp while sticking a small red towel on his forehead. Nicko's face still looked pale, his back was squeezed onto the black sofa. While on the desk located next to him, it appears Leta is focusing on reading books. He seemed to be seriously reading word by word in the book he had placed on the table.

At the bar behind the stairs, Hendrik Morgan stared at Sonia Robert, who was downing a full bottle of red wine. “Hey, Sonia. You will immediately lie down if you drink that much,“, Hendrik told Sonia who was sitting in a bar stool next to him.

Sonia placed the empty bottle of wine on the table, then glanced at Hendrik. “Grandfather, I won't get drunk,“.

“Yes, if you drink only a spoonful.“

While lying down, Kin glanced towards Uncle Bob. “Hey, Uncle,“ reply Kin. “I was exhausted until I fainted,“ he continued.

He told me about something called the Zodiac, Titan, and stuff. Then suddenly I heard your voice.“

Uncle Bob smiled listening to the story that Kin thought was a dream.

“Uncle, when do we paint the ceiling color with wood color?“ ask Kin wonder. He only realized there was something unusual about the room he was in. Kin roused his body, then sat straight facing the direction of the bookshelf. “I never knew we had that many books,“ he said as he glanced at Uncle Bob who was still sitting on the floor. Then Kin faced to his right; he saw Nicko sitting on the sofa next to him and Leta staring at him from the desk. Kin was facing to the left; he saw a bar, where he found Sonia Robert and Hendrik Morgan also staring at him. “I think, I am still in dream“, said Kin while staring at Hendrik.

“Kin, you're sober,“ reply Uncle Bob.

Kin glanced at Uncle Bob and said, “you're kidding? Did Uncle not see Prime Minister Hendrik Morgan sitting there?“ said Kin while pointing towards the Bar.

“Hey, Grandpa,“ whispered Sonia to Hendrik. Hendrik put his ear close. “Do you need, I flush him with water?“ ask Sonia.

“No need. I enjoyed this scene,“ replied Hendrik with a smile.

“Kin, what Lo said about the incident on the beach, everything is real,“ said Nicko.

Kin stared at Nicko who was sticking his towel.

“That, on Lo's cheek, there's a wound. Maybe it was Lo dapet the time of the incident on the beach,“ continued Nicko.

Kin stroked his right cheek, he felt a scar there. “Not, this I got when I met the Golden Hairy Sheep in a dream. He kicked a rock hard, and it shot up my cheek,” Kin said. Kin seemed to still not believe what was happening.

Hendrik got up from his seat and walked towards Kin. “Kin, maybe you are still confused by what happened today,“ said Hendrik. Then he sat down next to Kin. “But what I need to tell you, the world is in need of your ability right now,“ Hendrik continued.

Kin looked at Hendrik in wonder. “With all my respect for you, Mr. Minister,“ said Kin, then his head was subdued. “You know, yesterday I was just a representative of the owner of this little inn, and a few hours ago, I almost had a heart attack seeing Leta, a CEO of a leading company came here with all his humility he spoke to want to know me.“ Kin raised his head, then looked towards Hendrik. “And now, a Prime Minister handed the task of saving the world to me?“ continue Kin. Then Kin looked towards Bobby. “Uncle, if everything I thought today was a dream come true, you know? There is something strange from our family,“ said Kin.

Bobby let out a long sigh hearing Kin say, then he stood up then walked towards the wall next to the sofa that Kin and Hendrik were sitting on. Bobby took a picture of the wall. “This is all the destiny of our family, Kin,“ Bobby said as he handed the photo he took to Kin.

Kin stared at the photo he was holding with both hands. In the photo, he saw his father standing in the middle of the— being groomed by two men on his left and right; one man was of East Asian stature; the other was a Western Man.

“Who are the men standing next to dad?“ ask Kin.

Nicko tilted his body to see the photo Kin and Bobby were talking about. “The Asian man standing to the left of your father is named, Hyde; a man of Japanese descent. While the man standing to his left is, Bobban; a Russian,“ said Uncle Bob. “Your father is known by the name, Aries. Hyde is a fighter known as Cancer. Bobban is a Sagittarius. They are Zodiac,“ continued Uncle Bob.

Kin's body trembled hearing the Zodiac's word. Something he heard from the sheep that was repeatedly present in his dreams.

“Kin, maybe too hasty if you have to explain everything to you today. You still seem very confused by all this,“ said Hendrik.

“Bob, let Kin alone first. Let him calm his mind so that he can reflect on all this,“ continued Hendrik, while standing from the sofa.

Bobby nodded his head. Then he bowed his body and held onto Kin's shoulder with his right arm. “Kin, everything in this room can answer all your questions. This place is under the inn. Your father and I built it,“ Bobby said. “Everything inside you and this room is Davin's legacy to you,“ Bobby continued as he raised his hand from Kin's shoulder and stepped towards the stairs.

Leta and Nicko stand up and follow Bobby and Hendrik, walking away from Kin. Sonia stood in front of the stairs.

“Pak Pedana Ministers,“ says Kin.

Hendrik twisted his body.

“My father was helped by Sagittarius and Cancer while carrying out his duties,“ continued Kin, his eyes looking at the photo he held. “At least, find me some friends to fight with me.“

“You already have it, Kin,“ replied Hendrik.

Kin looked towards Hendrik.

“Pure Descendants?“ sahut Kin's.

“Ya, Pure Descendants,“ Reply Hendrik.

Kin stood up from the sofa. “Include me,“ pinta Kin.

Kin was surprised to hear Hendrik's words. He looked at Leta from head to toe.

“Sonia, you too Zodiac?” tanya Kin, her speech trembled.

“I am a beautiful Zodiac that makes you nervous, because in this city you will never find one like me,“ said Sonia mimicking Kin's previous remarks.

Kin's face flushed red, he remembered what he had said to Uncle Bob in the room.

“Kin, make peace with yourself. Accept your destiny and immediately become strong,“ Leta said as she walked away from Kin.

“Leta, Sonia. I beg you to stay here,“ said Kin. “I need your support,“ he continued.
