Yup! We Are the Twins

Yup! We Are the Twins
Eps. 31

About half an hour later Haykal was driving the bike, now the man has arrived at one of the public hospitals in the Bekasi area which became the place where the mother was treated due to an accident.

The man ran down the hospital hallway to find where the mother was. After running here and there with the occasional hit several nurses to several families of patients who blocked his path, Haykal finally found the room where his mother was being treated. Icu room.

In front of the door of the room there is already a woman the age of her mother who is none other than Aunt Tya, secretary and friend of her mother.

He's not alone. The middle-aged woman seemed to be sitting in a row with a boy about eleven years old who was none other than Haykal's sister, Zidan.

"Heykal!" Aunty Tya denied Haykal's arrival while rising from his position followed by Zidan who was seen crying a mouthful.

Haykal paid no heed to her sahutan and Aunt Tya and Zidan's gaze on her. The man hurriedly opened the door of the ICU room before him.

"Stop! You are forbidden to enter!" A nurse who had just walked out of the room prevented Haykal.

"I want to see my mom." Haykal. His pair of eyes seemed to be flushed and glazed with the roar of his irregular breathing.

"Sorry, Mas. For a while the patient could not be seen. You can wait for him outside." Said the nurse, making Haykal inevitably obey.

The man resignedly distanced himself slightly from the ICU entrance then sat himself in the waiting chair with Zidan and Aunt Tya.

Many times Haykal kept taking deep breaths. His two hands were unceasingly continuing to shuffle his hair until it was disheveled. The man's thoughts were everywhere. He was afraid that bad things would happen to his mother.

"Sister..." A soft call from beside Haykal made the man instantly distract him.

"Sister..." Zidan, his sister whom he had not seen for a very long time, hugged him from the side crying.

"Mama's not gonna leave us, is she, sister?" Rengek Zidan's. Trying perhaps Haykal released a tight hug from his sister.

It's not that Haykal doesn't like being hugged by Zidan. He just didn't want his sister to be a weak figure.

"Lo, it's a boy! You can't cry, boys cry!?" Haykal scrambled his sister's head while chuckling.

As much as possible he comforted his sister, even though the man was actually not okay.

Zidan tried to wipe away her tears as her brother said that men should not cry. However, when her eyes accidentally stared at the school uniform worn by Haykal, the boy's eyes were rounded, looking at his older brother with a worried look.

"Kok, is Haykal's uniform dirty?" Zidan began to move from the chair while groaning his brother's body.

Haykal whose mind was anchored everywhere immediately focused on the uniform he was wearing.

"Lho's? Brother's arm is bleeding?" Screeches Zidan makes Aunt Tya who is calling someone suddenly turn his attention to the two children of his best friend.

"What's wrong?" Aunt Tya approached Haykal and Zidan.

Haykal glanced at one of his arms which he said was bleeding. And sure enough, his left arm was seen bleeding until the blood dripped onto the floor.

Aunt Tya who saw it was of course made in shock! The middle-aged woman ran looking for a nurse to bandage the wound on Haykal's arm.

It didn't take long, the middle-aged woman returned before Haykal and Zidan with a nurse carrying a P3K box.

"Take off your uniform! Why can't I believe this?" Aunt Tya asked worriedly while trying to help Haykal remove his school blazer.

The man did not answer him directly. He stared blankly at his arm with an occasional snide laugh.

"Cuman is late." Haykal flat.

"It's gotta be stitched." The nurse looked at Haykal, then Aunt Tya took turns. The look of his face was a little tense, let alone the blood still continued to drip, but not as bad as before.

Aunt Tya seemed to pat her forehead while hissing. The gaze of the middle-aged woman then turned to look at Haykal who was still seen silent with his empty gaze.

"You got a motor?" Aunty Tya asked, and Haykal nodded once.

"Why did you get in an accident too, Haykal! What if something happens to you?" Auntie Tya sighed quite heavily.

His eyes then turned to look at the nurse who was still faithfully cleaning the blood coming out of Haykal's arm. "Suster, stitch the wound!" Aunty Tya's words were immediately taken by the nurse.

...****...

"Good morning!!!" On a sunny morning on a holiday, Kanza said hello to her little family members who were in the kitchen.

There is already the papi drinking coffee, the mami who is busy cooking, and its absurd twin who looks upset when it is still morning.

"Za, can you help Mami peel the onions?" Chelsea, the mother, greeted her daughter who was just about to sit in the dining chair next to her twin.

Kanza sighed, before in the end the girl chose to approach the mami who was still struggling with the stove and pan.

"Cutting in the onions?"

Chelsea glanced at her daughter a moment later she refocused herself on her work. "Not really, anyway. After chopping onions directly wash the vegetables that Mami has cut into pieces, yes. Remember that! The clean ones wash it!"

Kanza took her breath back. The girl obediently obeyed the orders of the mother. Itung-itung while learning to cook too, right?

"White!" Kenzo told the papi who was still faithful to sip his coffee while staring at the tablet screen.

Called by his son inevitably Kenan who was still at home staring at the tablet screen, shifted his focus to Kenzo.

"Why? Early in the morning his face was wrinkled. Rejected chick, huh?" Kenan's words, suddenly made Kenzo immediately round his eyes while staring in admiration papi.

"Cock, Papi knows?" Sahutan Kenzo, gets a surprise delicacy from Kanza who happens to accidentally listen to the chatter of papi and his twin.

"Huh!? You're rejected by girls, Zo?" Kanza stared in disbelief at Kenzo.

The next second, the girl laughed while holding her stomach.

Seeing Kanza who is mocking him, it is not impossible that Kenzo is not upset. The man, at the speed of an eagle, pelted his twin face with a tablecloth that happened to be not far from his reach.

And at that moment, it was Kenzo's turn to laugh. Chelsea and Kenan who witnessed the twins' absurd behavior just sighed while shaking their heads.

"Heh, how nice!" Kenzo muttered with a grin.

Shortly thereafter, the man's focus returned to the papi who looked at him with an elusive look.

While Kanza, the girl had almost wanted to explode, but was immediately prevented by the mother who told her to continue cutting onions.

Being stared at like that by his papi, it was not impossible for Kenzo not to be intimidated. He with his tense face looked at the papi with occasional blinks of both eyes.

"Seriously?" Ask Kenan suddenly.

"Well?!" Kenzo does not understand the meaning of the words of the papi. The guy with a look of confusion looked at Kenan while furrowing his eyebrows.

"You're Kenan's son, neighbor Bagaskara, but you've been rejected by girls? Not wrong?" Kenan stared fixedly at the look on his son's face that looked sullen as he exhaled.

"That's weird, isn't it, Pih? Usually she's the one who refuses girls!" Kanza who is still loyal to help her mom cook in the process.

"That karma!" Chelsea Timpal.

It feels like Kenzo is currently being cornered by the words of all his family members. Really sucks.

"Know, ah! Instead of giving input, this is even muted. How, anyway?" Kenzo blurted his lips while folding his arms in front of his chest.

Seeing Kenzo's attitude that began to flutter, Kenan could no longer hold back his laughter. This attitude of his son really seemed to be reflecting on him in the past.

Kenan is not a playboy like Kenzo. He was only much admired by the women to the point of making some of them quarrel fiercely just for the sake of fighting over it.

You want to know who one of them is? That is, former principal Kanza at Melati High School. She used to be a Kenan student. He had a big fight with Jessica and Mysha during high school just to get close to Kenan.

Okay, back to topic.

"You want Papi to give you a reference?" Kenan said, suddenly Kenzo immediately rose from his sitting position with eyes fixed on the papi.

"Seriously?" Kenzo looked expectantly at Kenan.

The papi did not answer verbally, but answered him with a nod of haughty head, making Chelsea who accidentally glanced at her husband staring wryly while scolding his lips.

"Certainly, continues? The first thing Kenzo must do if you want to sneak a girl, what?" Kenzo began to re-seat himself as he continued to focus on the papi.

Kenan seemed to cleared his throat, before at last the man began to express his opinion.

"Before asking the question just now, it's good to answer Papi's question first." Kenan said, immediately answered a few nods by Kenzo.

"Come, Pih! Ask me what!"

"What kind of girl do you like, what kind of girl do you like? Feminine? Or tomboy?" Kenzo began to think and guess.

Come to think of it, Wanda is not feminine, but she is not a tomboy either. Kenzo rarely saw the girl wearing the gown or other feminine clothes that Kanza often wore.

However, even though the girl's suit was only limited to long jeans and a shirt, Wanda did not behave like a tomboy. The girl was just a little judes and had a firm personality. But if long tempted by Kenzo also end-end melting.

So actually, Wanda is feminine or tomboyish?

"Where, dad?! She's feminine, no. Tomboy's not too!" Kenzo said, suddenly got a shocked look from his papa.

"Kok, can?"

"Lo's girl type is now changing, Zo? Not the centile anymore? Monika how are you?" Kanza interrupted, carrying a large enough bowl containing processed chicken soy sauce made by the mami and put it on the dining table.

"Who's Monika? New shits." Kenzo immediately changed the look of his face after hearing the name Monika mentioned by Kanza.

Kanza was grieving, and chose not to reply to Kenzo's remarks. Better, Kanza helps her mom who is still struggling with cooking than accompany Kenzo to argue.

Can't finish later!

"That, huh?" Kenan seemed to be thinking seriously. "You're your age?" Ask Kenan. Instantly, the look on Kenzo's face, which was originally staring at the focus of the papi, immediately turned lethargic while leaning his back on the back of the chair.

Kenzo took a long breath. The man then shook his head slowly without meeting the papi.

"Hm... Is he younger than you?" Guess Kenan, and again the headband became the wrong answer to the words of his papi.

"To be more precise, he's older than Kenzo." Speak Kenzo in a clear tone.

Kenan, Chelsea and Kanza immediately turned their attention to Kenzo with both eyes widened almost perfectly.

"He's a senior at our school, Zo?"

"You don't have a crush on auntie anymore, do you?"

"He's in college or he's working?"

A cross-section of questions from Mami, Papi, and her twin sister, none of which were answered yes or a nod of the head by Kenzo. He desperately shook his head as he swept his lips.

"He said he was three years older, so he didn't understand his love for this handsome Kenzo." Kenzo.

And at that very moment, the atmosphere of the Kenan Family residence was instantly silent, with a look of pity fixed on a Kenzo.

...****...

Haykal had been waiting for his mother, Maya, who had not been aware of the accident.

According to the story of Aunt Tya, before the incident, this mother after the supermarket bought food ingredients to welcome Haykal's arrival.

At that time, Auntie Tya was putting some packages of groceries into the trunk of the car, and her mother was reading a list of groceries on her mobile screen.

"How much do you want to get here?" Tya, his secretary and best friend during college asked after a long time he entered various groceries previously purchased by Maya.

"Start, halt! I'm afraid someone's missing." Maya. The look on his face looks bright with the look of his eyes still fixed on the screen of his cellphone.

"Eh? Haykal, don't you, like fried chicken krispi? I'm going to buy some fried chicken first, yeah, up ahead!?" Maya then turns to look at Tya while stepping her legs closer to the woman.

"What if you buy now won't be cold?"

"It can be microwaved!" Maya's words are only taken by a nod of understanding by Tya. "I used to nitip my hape, yeah! If anyone calls especially Haykal, answer immediately! Tell Mama to shop for a minute." He said again, then melengos left Tya after he had previously left his phone to the woman.

The position of the fried chicken restaurant building said by Maya happened to be right across from the supermarket.

When he was about to cross the road, he forgot to glance right-left. His mind was too engrossed in imagining the arrival of his second son later who he had not met for so long.

And, as you think. Maya who walked in a hurry without glancing to the right and to the left, was hit by a two-wheeled vehicle from the west which at that time drove very fast.

As a result, Maya's body bounced far enough to reach the middle of the highway.

Tya who witnessed the tragic scene was clearly shocked as well as in disbelief.

With a stride, Tya ran towards the body of his best friend who began to droop weakly with blood that began to pour from some parts of his body.

"Mama should behave like that first. Don't be so smart about me. In that case, right, Mama wouldn't believe me." Grunts Haykal. His eyes were still focused on the mother who was still unconscious, even though she had been transferred to the hospital room.

Haykal took a deep breath, then got up from his chair. He decided to get out of the room and get some fresh air.

Come to think of it, the pain in his left arm was only felt at this moment. His legs, which were fine, began to show his pain.

His uniform was dirty and his left arm was torn off. The cell phone he put in his blazer was destroyed by an accident that hit him before he reached the hospital.

"Sister Haykal? Where's the brother going?" Zidan, who came out of the bathroom in the nursery, immediately greeted Haykal when he saw his brother touching the door knob.

Hearing Zidan answer him, Haykal immediately turned his body while looking at his sister.

"Gue wants to go out. Take care of Mama, yeah." Haykal's words, immediately invaded by Zidan who suddenly ran towards him while firmly grasping one of his arms that were not injured.

"No intention of leaving, right?" Zidan looked at Haykal with a full glance. He was afraid that at any time this brother would go back to leave himself and also the mother.

"No! I want to get out of the wind. Don't, really." Haykal said, while trying to release his sister's hand that was still firmly grasping her arm.

"Really?" Asked Zidan who was immediately taken by a definite nod by Haykal.

"Zidan's coming, yeah?" He said, suddenly making Haykal immediately furrowed both eyebrows.

"Well? You don't believe in me, brother?" Haykal looked at his sister's bead with a contrived look as if he was holding back emotions.

Zidan did not directly answer Haykal's question. He scratched the back of his head while blasting his lips.

"It's not that."

"Continue?" Haykal raised one of his eyebrows with both of his arms which he folded in front of his chest.

"Gue laper, brother. Treat Zidan to a meal, yeah?" Zidan continued, making Haykal suddenly develop a little laugh.

"Rubid... The language is cool! Okay, I'm the deal. But there are conditions!" Haykal grabbed Zidan's shoulder as he walked out of the hospital room.

"What tuh?" Zidan asked, beginning to guess.

"Gue pinjem hape lo, huh? I'm angry about it."

"What are you doing? Don't-don't you want to waste my FF account again, huh? Ogah, uh! Buy it again, you've got a lot of money, brother!" Zidan immediately released Haykal's arm. However, just a moment apart, the next second Haykal re-embraced his sister's shoulder with a rancid smile rising on his face.

"No, elaah! Lo so adek su'udzonan mulu feelings!"

"Yes, that was it!"

"Yes, right, that was before! Now I'm not! Seriously, bye! Well? Can, dad? Let me buy you a quota, how much?" Tawar Haykal, trying to negotiate with his sister who can be categorized as a human who does not easily believe in the words of others.

"How much do you want to buy? I don't want 1GB, 2GB! Five minutes is up, too." Okay, looks like this little sister is getting a little interested in the offer put forward by Haykal.

"Heh, I give you 50GB, huh! No, 100GB if you want!" Haykal. And at that very moment, the look on his sister's face was instantly sumringah with the look of her pair of eyes fixed on Haykal.

"Promise, huh? Watch out you lied! Zidan Aduin Mama!" Threatening Zidan, making Haykal immediately develop his laughter.

"I thought I was lying! You said I had a lot of money, how about it?"

"Yes, yes! I am now laper. Jajanin, I don't want to know!" Zidan said, then forcefully pulled his brother's arm to immediately find a place to eat.

...****...

Time has shown two o'clock in the afternoon and Alex in his casual suit is standing in front of a long mirror in his room.

As Alex said this afternoon to Kanza, he will be doing their first date this afternoon after a while before he has re-contacted Kanza and persuaded the girl all-out to go to their first date.

Cklek!

The sound of his bedroom door opening from the outside, made Alex suddenly turn his gaze toward the source of the voice.

A middle-aged woman, standing firmly in the doorway of Alex's room who is none other than her mother. Sandra.

"You want to get out?" Sahutan from her mother got a response in the form of a small smile from Alex.

"Awhile, really. Can you, Ma?" Alex asked, continuing to smile sweetly.

"You've learned? He said you're in two weeks at the Olympics, right? Who are you playing with?" Cross-question from Sandra, answered by a small breath by Alex.

It's always been this way. The first thing they asked Alex when he wanted to ask permission to leave the house was about learning, learning, and learning.

Is there nothing else besides that?

"Udah, Mom. Later to come home to play also Alex can learn again." Reply Alex. The look on his face that was originally smiling, instantly changed into an expressionless flat.

Sandra looked shaken. "Yes already. Don't be long, yeah, play it! Papa you're at home again. I don't know if he's going to like what if you're not home, let alone forget to learn!" Sandra then patted her son's arm lightly with a faint smile. "If that's Mama's going down again, huh?" Then, walk out of Alex's room without saying another word.

After leaving his mother, Alex then again sighed. He thought, until when will he continue to be restrained and demanded to be always perfect like this?

"Learning to be a successor. Is my life just to be a successor?" Alex muttered, clenching his hands firmly.
