Young Masters

Young Masters
Burden Mental

The cold that blew that night seemed to bring news if autumn was coming soon. The unshackled gust of wind made the leaves fall and fly everywhere.

Just like Yuta's ambition he can no longer stand. Yuta was being selfish this time. No matter how tired he is upon arrival from Japan and Yuhi's readiness to face reality, the man wants to force his will to put an end to this mystery immediately.

Yuta, Yuhi, and Chenle stood in front of an old pink door with a group of police and a psychologist.

The atmosphere of his home was currently completely silent. Kris did not come back from Japan, the man was still there, and there were only a few maids watching the investigation.

Yuta handed the key to one of the policemen and waited for the door to open with a thumping heart.

Yuhi squeezed the front of her dress. His feelings are mixed between fear, anxiety and also curiosity. Yuhi had no idea why she was so distracted by the room every time she passed by, and she was always terrified without her knowing the cause.

The worn-out door finally opened, with a pungent formalin scent welcoming them. Yuta entered first by pressing the yellow dim light button which made the place not bright enough to see clearly.

The gripping atmosphere was so pronounced that even though Yuta had no memory of the place and the fear that suddenly touched it was completely unfounded. The man stared blankly at the weathered wood floor with a blackened trail in the middle, the floor scorched, like there was once a fire curling over it.

Yuta's eyes slowly circulated, staring at a glass coffin neatly located on a wooden table with carvings of ancient Japanese characters. His footsteps slowly slowed down. Staring at the lifeless body-goals of a woman lying pretty with a white yukata pictured with lily flowers.

The face was no stranger to her but she also did not remember clearly every detail of her anatomy. Yuta recognized her even though the face looked paler than what was depicted in his memory.

The man stopped right in front of the coffin, his legs suddenly limp and made him fall in front of his mother's coffin. There were no words he could say other than his grievous cries and regret.

Yuhi was still frozen in the middle of the room. That pale face looked exactly like in his dream, but it was not Yukina's sleeping face that he saw, but Yukino's weak face with flames devouring his body.

Yuhi can't control this. His heart was beating very fast with his hunting breath. The charred scar beneath the soles of his feet seemed alive and brought back a sinister picture of the tragedy of that night.

The wooden floor seemed to be re-igniting, with flames swerving before his eyes. The soft tone of a woman was back in her head.

Truly Yuhi did not want to hear it anymore, Yuhi hated that voice. The girl covered her ears with her hands hoping that the voice would disappear from her head, but it was a waste. The shrill voice resonated louder and louder singing a song of sleep for him and interlinking with the sound of fire eating the body of a woman.

Yuhi cried, she took great pains not to scream. His footsteps started to rouse and step back impatiently until he almost fell backward if Chenle did not catch his body.

"He's dead... Chenle she's dead... " Lirih Yuhi with her head shook quickly.

"The fire burned him... She's dead. She's staring at me.."

"Yepy.." Chenle hugged Yuhi's trembling body and pulled the girl out.

"STOP !!! please don't sing in my head." yelled Yuhi.

Chenle did not know what to do, telling Yuhi to calm down was futile. The girl was traumatized. It was a psychological wound that could not be stopped just because you asked him to calm down.

Yuhi was crying hysterically in her arms. The girl was out of control to the point that a psychologist doctor Chenle asked to accompany them had to inject a sedative on Yuhi.

Chenle had expected this to happen. And it was the right choice for him to have an expert accompany them.

Yuhi's cries slowly subsided, her body slowly weakening with a helpless blank look. Drowsiness began to attack her as the girl's breathing slowly began to settle down and she fell asleep in Chenle's arms.

"You see everything." Yuta Gumam.

The man sat opposite Chenle on Yuhi's sofa room. Yuta turned his head to look at Yuhi's body lying quietly on the bed. Miris greeted her heart, imagining how tormented Yuhi had been all this time. Wrestling with creepy memories that cannot be tolerated by his subconscious.

"Yuhi who is 5 years old saw the murder before her own eyes. I can't imagine how scared he was at that moment."

Chenle looked at Yuhi's body. Question after question swirled in his head.

"The woman in the crate is your mother?"

Yuta nodded then he took a heavy breath as if he had a hard time accepting this reality.

"Then... Who did he kill?"

"My mother's twin sister. His name is Ayuzawa Yukino. All this time the one who took care of Yuhi as a baby was her. And I mistakenly thought she was my mother."

Yuta was not in Korea when her mother died, and she did not even know that Yukina died 4 days after giving birth to Yuhi.

Kris hides this from her by bringing Ayuzawa Yukino, her mother's twin to pretend to be Yukina.

"This case only has 1 eyewitness, she was my mother's maid as well as the Nanny of Yuhi."

Chenle was still faithfully a listener, she looked at Yuta with all her sympathetic side.

"Kris blames Yuhi for our mother's death. She also made Aunt Yukino an outlet for her grief...." Yuta again had to sigh. It's too tragic to tell.

"..... Aunt Yukino gives birth to a daughter Kris did and makes Kris angry, she burns the body of aunt Yukino and their baby daughter, and it's right in front of Yuhi's eyes."

Chenle sighed. Can't imagine the terrible tragedy Yuhi had in the past. Chenle alone felt goosebumps just by hearing this story, then what about Yuhi who experienced it firsthand??

He was 5 years old at the time.

"Yuhi is often delirious, she says the woman sings to him until the fire devours her whole body." Chenle. The man looked down and played his fingers agitatedly. She became a little stressed from imagining Yuta's story just now.

"Yes, and I was foolish not to know that such a great tragedy had befallen my sister."

"Don't blame yourself."

Yuta silent. That regret would always accompany her soul as she stared at Yuhi's face. She feels like she failed to protect Yuhi. And feeling guilty about the deep trauma the girl had experienced.

"Don't worry, I'll ask a professional to deal with the trauma even if it's a little late."

Seriate...
