Chapter 69: The Change of Life

2 Weeks have passed and changed the life of a man who looks so messy. There was no longer a firm and authoritative figure, now there were only men with shabby and dirty looks. Since the return of his wife's memory, the man has lost his life as well as other family members. The jokes, the laughter, the happiness felt so far away for them to reach.

"Sam .." call Jasmine to Samuel, who is sitting there staring at the window. Jasmine then crouched down staring at the heartache of the son who did not respond to her.

"Son, let's eat first" Jasmine asked. Samuel just shook his head and continued his daydream.

The man misses the figure of Nada who prefers to stay at Mikael's house. Various ways Samuel did to take Nada away from there, but Nada instead scolded her like a child.

He who initially wanted to live there, was required to return to Jakarta because his work had been very piled up. Samuel did not want to trouble Leo and the Duke even though both men were available to hold his job. Even so, Samuel always took the time to visit Nada.

Jasmine finally relented and opted out of the room, leaving Samuel who instantly turned his back with tears spilling over. He was very tired with all the work, plus had to monitor the condition of the tone that had not been developed.

"Darling, I miss you the old days" Samuel said as he stared at a picture of himself with Nada on his phone screen.

Meanwhile, Nada lived her day full of happiness. He continued to talk as if beside him were Mikael and Andre. The woman was still trapped in the world she created herself even though sometimes Nada felt a sense of emptiness, but hurriedly brushed aside when she saw Mikael and Andre coming towards her.

"Dad, I want some chocolate, okay?" tanya Nada to the figure of Mikael whom he saw. While Steve and Yuni who chose to accompany Nada in the house, was made more frustrated because the attitude of Nada became more so.

"Darling, what should we do?" said Yuni who was crying looking at Nada across there. Steve was silent. He no longer knows what to do. The doctor who used to treat Nada had done as much as he could, but the trauma of Nada that time was so severe that it required such a long process.

"Pardon me, sir. I'll fix it" the employee said in fear. It's been 2 weeks, Samuel's been very temperamental. The man was sensitive to everyone until Leo, who was his assistant, was overwhelmed by Samuel's nature.

"You go, you go" kicked Leo out not to add to his headache. Leo took a breath while looking pityfully at Samuel. He knew so well that Samuel changed because of the tone.

"Sam, you go with Nada. I'll take care of the company with papa."

"You don't know what hurts the most? When you love someone so much, but he doesn't think you exist. That's how I feel now" said Samuel and immediately stepped away leaving Leo speechless because it applies to him.

Samuel walked quickly to the elevator. Although he always got rejection from Nada, but this time he will try even harder. He would never leave Nada whatever the woman's condition was.

"Hello Pak Ujang, please deliver the car in front of the company. I will drive myself to Bandung," said Samuel and immediately turned off the phone.

A few moments later

"Shit!! Why so jammed?" samuel was upset and turned the other way to Bandung. A journey that felt so long for her who desperately wanted to embrace Nada.

"Honey, I'm coming" said Samuel smiling, but suddenly ...

"Hi" said a mature woman to Nada who was sitting sweetly in a cafe.

"Hi, you're finally here" welcome Nada to hug her friend.

"How's your treatment? Smoothly?"

"Yes, that's it. I just need to check myself regularly. What about your job, Dina?"

"Everything is going well" said Adel who was called Dina. The situation had returned to the starting point where Nada did not recognize all of them. Although Nada's trauma was not what it used to be, her memory was lost again. No one knows why this could happen, but it might be best for everyone.

"Thank God. Oh yes, I will continue my studies in America. I got a full scholarship there," said Nada girang.

"Well, really? Congratulations!" Adel immediately embraced Nada. He deeply regretted the fate of Nada and Samuel who had to be separated again and again.

"Nad, do you want to see my brother?" adel asked expectantly while holding Nada's hand.

"Your brother?"

The two women finally walked to Samuel's place. During the journey, Adel held tightly to Nada's palm. Whether what he did was right or not, but he wished Nada could remember Samuel, once again.

The car that took them finally stopped in a foreign area. The journey takes less than an hour. Tone turned his head feeling like he had never been to this place. He then looked at Adel who was staring at himself with tears that had been spilled.

"Din, what's wrong with you? Don't cry" said Tone softly.

"I'm fine. Comeon, down. Mr. Ujang, please wait a minute, yes."

Nada and Adel walked along a path filled with red roses. The place was very quiet and beautiful. The birds chirped as if welcoming the long-lost owner.

"Din .. i-it."

"Yes, this is my brother, Nad. Samuel Octavio Admadewa."
