You Pinang Me As Honey

You Pinang Me As Honey
Episode 18: News

Traces of rain are still visible out there. Wet and humid air is still clearly felt. The wind is still cold touching the skin.

Arinda was still lazy to move, having opened her eyes a moment ago. He fell asleep this afternoon, after pranking a flock of gallant men downstairs. Cold air brought by the rain, as if to insult the booby Arinda who lay still in her bed.

Long enough Arinda felt sorry for herself this afternoon. The confessions of Ardan's confidants had made it seem like he had fallen from a height.

"Aaahhh.., I must look like a poor girl with no powers."

His feet kicked up a bed and an innocent blanket. Arinda closed her face tightly with both hands. Not wanting to meet the shadow of himself, who was helpless in front of the two stocky men that night.

"Damn...!!!"

Arinda cursed herself. There was regret tucked into his heart. Why did he have to go home late at night, even though some of his employees had asked him to come home early.

But...

"If none of this happened, maybe I haven't been able to meet Ardan to this day."

The expression of gratitude and thanks is more dominating his heart that had gone wrong. Now he doesn't know if he should be upset or happy. Or should I feel both.

Finally, Arinda chose to take a shower instead of thinking about something that made her own confusion. Her footsteps moved towards the bathroom.

As soon as he walked into the bathroom, someone knocked on the door.

Tokk. tokk...

Because there was no word from inside the room, he tried to open the door and look into it.

"Aryn..." But I didn't see anyone in that room. The bed is empty.

"Aryn..." Call again.

He then tried to look at the balcony, who knew the owner of the room was out there. But the balcony door was covered in curtains that blocked his view. He lifted the curtain and peeked outwards. Suddenly....

"Y........!!!!!"

A scream from behind surprised him. He turned his body and...

"Aaaaaaaa......!!!!!"

He was not surprised by what he saw. He shouted loudly, as loudly as Arinda cried, while tightly closing his eyes with both hands. He quickly turned his back to face the balcony door.

"Sorry...!!!" He said it quickly, whether it sounded or not.

"Basic pervert...!!!" Shouted Arinda whose innocent body was only covered with a white towel.

"Needler...!!!"

Pelt Ardan's back with a pillow. Rushed he ran, went back into the bathroom. Quickly he shut the door, locked it tight. His breathing remained irregular for a while. Shocked, scared and ashamed to mix into one. Close your eyes as tight as possible.

Ardan was still down, standing by the balcony door when Arinda reached the bathroom. His breath was wheezing, his chest was rumbling, his hands and feet were shaking. He tries to control himself.

Shame and fear are also felt. Don't know what to say if I see Arinda.

"What dream did I have last night...?" Mumbled.

Again, the delinquent thoughts of the adult man flashed through Ardan's mind.

"A beautiful body..." Ardan gulped, smilingly recalling the dazzling body before him just a moment ago. White skin clean, smooth smooth, glowing, if only there are mosquitoes that perch there will surely slip.

Ardan ran out after realizing he was in the wrong place and time. He forgot to tell him his purpose in finding Arinda.

Until dinner time comes, Ardan has not dared to meet Arinda at all. And inevitably, they finally met at the dinner table. Awkwardly enveloped the two, until Victor was suspicious. He thought something had happened between the two of them.

"Hi..." Ardan tried to say hello.

"Hi..." Greet Arinda. Wrong attitude. Look somewhere. Like trying to escape because you're avoiding something.

Victor saw their funny behavior. "Hi...??? What kind of greeting is that...? It's so ridiculous for them tonight..."

After they sat down, Arinda started taking rice, side dishes and vegetables for Ardan. Not saying anything. Ardan just looked down, not daring to look at Arinda. Victor became confused himself to be in that uncomfortable situation.

"This is enough...?" Ask Arinda while putting down Ardan's plate.

"Enough. Thanks, Arin..."

Before long, Ardan had already finished the food on his plate. He stood up and left the dining table. Go to the family room, alone. Arinda just stared at Ardan's back with a feeling of annoyance. He continued eating.

Victor, who was alone with Arinda at the dinner table, felt sad. And then eat it fast. And left Arinda alone, after pleading with her to go first.

In the family room...

"Ehemmmm..." Victor cleared his throat trying to greet the chaotic looking Ardan. "Sorry, did I miss something...?"

Ardan only saw it at a glance. Didn't say anything. Victor nodded, not wanting to force Ardan to speak again.

"I made a mistake, Vic" Ardan said later, leaving Victor shocked as Ardan suddenly made a sound. But even more surprised to hear Ardan's sentence.

"Error...?"

"So I was......" Not yet Ardan told me, he saw Arinda who had finished dinner. He got up from his seat and immediately approached Arinda. Victor was just dumbstruck, disappointed because he finally did not know what was really going on.

"Follow me..." Said Ardan when he was in front of Arinda.

"Where...?" Arinda wanted to know.

"Follow it..."

Finally Arinda followed Ardan without asking much. Go upstairs, and turn in the opposite direction to Arinda's room.

"Hahh, that's Ardan's room." His heart is beating fast. "Will he take me to his room...? Oh no..., what does she want...???"

But apparently, Ardan passed through the door of his room. Arinda was relieved. But not yet calm because Ardan continues to walk, passing through his study as well.

"Where is he really going...?" Arinda was still wondering, but only in her heart. Looking at Ardan's extremely cold face that night, Arinda did not dare to make a sound at all.

Ardan opened a door at the end of the floor. Then let Arinda in with her hand signal. Arinda saw something behind that door.

"Will he drown me...?" arinda's mind is getting messed up.

In front of him, he saw a fairly high glass wall, with very clear water in it. An outdoor pool, with one side of the wall made of glass. The roof of the swimming pool was also made of glass, so it could directly look at the sky.

"Follow me..." Ardan surprised Arinda. "We're riding..."

"Good...?" Thought Arinda. There was another ladder next to the wall. They're heading upstairs in that house. At the rooftop.

At first Arinda only saw the sofa in the gazebo surrounded by curtains that were tied. When he climbed again and set foot on the floor, Arinda was not only amazed to see the beauty there.

There's a long sofa on Arinda's left. To the right of Arinda is a minibar and kitchen, complete with chairs lined up on her bar table. Forward again, there are 2 sets of tables and benches complete with a large umbrella on it.

The place is surrounded by a garden and some very beautiful bonsai, as well as a glass roof that protects it. Only a few lights were deliberately lit, adding to the warm atmosphere there.

Forward again a few steps, there is a place with down 3 pieces of stairs. The floor was green, like a stretch of grass, and now it was completely covered with sky. The stars seem to be scattered up there. What makes Arinda most amazed is the flickering lights that appear in the distance.

That's where the town, where Arinda's parents' house is. It was dozens, even hundreds of kilometers away from where Arinda was at the moment.

Arinda's eyes are rounded. Face sparkles. A sweet smile appeared on her thin lips. Ardan only watched Arinda from a distance. Enjoy the beauty of the night on the roof of the house.

"How can this place be so beautiful...?" Mumbled Arinda. "This is all so amazing. You're great, Ardan..."

"Thank you..." The words of Ardan who suddenly approached, surprised Arinda. "You like...?"

"I like it a lot..."

They spent a long time in that place. Until almost midnight. Arinda was already lying on the grass floor, looking at the stars and moon in the sky without any obstructions.

About half a meter away from where Arinda lay, Ardan lay on his side and looked at Arinda. His left hand held his head. While his right hand is engrossed in playing synthetic grass in front of him.

"Wise tonight as much as you can. I'll take you home tomorrow morning..."

"What...??? Really...?" Asked Arinda while looking closely at Ardan's eyes.

Ardan nodded. Arinda just scrunched her forehead hearing Ardan's words. Surprised, because so suddenly Ardan told him.

"Thank you Ardan..."

Although happy, Arinda felt sad to have to part with Ardan again. They talked at length until the morning.
