Episode 14: Meet Alvin

"Hhmmm.., really big..." Arinda spread her arms wide at the edge of the balcony of her room. The cold that he felt.

It was still very early in the morning, but Arinda had finished her bath. The fog that was still reluctant to pass, slightly blocked Arinda's view towards the lake. The sunlight was still timidly breaking through the cracks of the fog. Not yet able to penetrate the pores of the skin Arinda, to just give a little warmth.

"I'll miss this place..." Arinda said that sentence slowly. Suddenly though...

"You stay here..." A voice appeared right beside Arinda.

"Ohhhh..." Arinda shrieked in surprise, while jumping away from the source of the sound. Without Arinda noticing, Ardan had already been standing there for a while. Enjoyed the beautiful view that morning.

"Since when have you been here...???" Ask Arinda with her eyes still round.

"Since then..." Answer Ardan. "I knocked on your door, but you didn't answer. Then I went in, I thought you were still sleeping...."

"What...???" Shouts Arinda surprised Ardan. "What would you do if I was still sleeping...???"

"Hiihhh.., you pervert..." Ardan Sahut. "Where might I do things while you sleep....."

"What...???" Arinda shouted again. "So you can do things even though I'm not sleeping...?"

Arinda shifted slowly away from Ardan. It was as if Ardan would do something if they were close together.

"Hey, what the fuck is...?" Ardan's upset. "Why do all my answers seem so scary to you...?"

Arinda simply threw her gaze away from Ardan. Scared, but more embarrassed by all his words.

"Basic perverted brain...!!!" Ardan said furiously, making Arinda even more embarrassed.

"Then what do you want to enter my room secretly...?"

Ardan breathed out his breath violently. Still upset. He tried to speak slowly to Arinda.

"Arin.., listen to me first..."

Arinda only glanced at Ardan who was still about to speak.

"I told you, I knocked on the door. But you didn't answer. I thought you were still sleeping, so I wanted to wake you up. Today we go to the amusement park. So, you need to get ready."

Arinda just smelled a smile. Resist his shame. Right too, he thought. They're going to the amusement park today. Arinda regretted accusing Ardan of all sorts.

"Yes, sorry..." Arinda felt guilty.

"You're prepared. I'm gonna go out for a second. We'll leave as soon as I come." Ardan said without giving Arinda a chance to talk again. Because he rushed up and out of Arinda's room.

"Ohhh..." Arinda felt like she had made a mistake. He patted his chest slowly. "It's a good thing he doesn't get angry easily..."

A little while later, Arinda was already busy preparing herself. Arinda's bedroom door was knocked again.

"Yes..." Arinda from the room.

"This is Bi Imah, Ms. Arinda."

"Oiya, Bi Imah. Just go in..."

As usual, Bi Imah came with a waiter to bring warm chocolates and morning snacks for Arinda.

Shortly after Bi Imah and the waiter prepared the dishes on the balcony table, Arinda was done preparing. Then followed Bi Imah to the balcony.

"Bak Arinda is so beautiful..." Said Bi Imah praising Arinda who looks beautiful and looks different that morning.

"Thank you. Bi Can it be..." The knot smile adds to Arinda's beautiful face. Then he sat down and enjoyed his hot chocolate. Don't forget to pick up some of his favorite morning snacks.

"Yes, Miss Arinda..."

"Mmm, thank you very much Bi, it has served me well during my time here. I feel lucky, because there is Bi Imah who accompanies me. Because if you don't....."

Arinda did not continue with her words. He simply bowed, recalling what had happened in that place. He felt his heart breaking and was deeply hurt a while ago. But now, he feels all right. Although he still did not understand, from where was the very close relationship between Ardan and his parents.

"It's been my duty, Ms. Arinda." Bi Imah smiled. "I'm also very grateful that Ms. Arinda is not a hassle, staying calm even though Ms. Arinda's heart is messed up..."

Arinda smiled happily at Bi Imah's words. They chatted for a while. Then Bi Imah asked permission to go down because he had to prepare breakfast at the dining table downstairs.

Arinda lives alone on that balcony. Enjoy the beauty of the morning that he will soon leave. He waited for the day he would return home. Gathered again with his parents and beloved sister. Even so, Arinda did like the place where she was sitting right now, and it was a pity to leave it.

"Aryn..." Ardan has arrived.

"Hi..." Sapa Arinda's.

"Ago daydreaming...?"

"No..." Arinda smiled, looking towards the lake. "I'm on vacation here. My spirit has returned. I want to go home, and go back to work with a new spirit. Hehe.." Arinda.

Ardan was silent. He smiled at Arinda's confession.

"Mmm.., Ardan. Cepetan anter I'm home, yeah..." Said Arinda later.

Ardan approached Arinda. Looked at her beautiful face that morning. But that's not what Ardan is looking for.

"You want to go home...?" Ardan asked who was answered with a soft nod by Arinda. "alright. Later, I'll take you home. But if you're ready to go home..."

Arinda frowned at Ardan's words. Then focus again on the lake. Don't want to know more.

"Let's get down..." Ardan. "We're having breakfast, just leaving..."

Arinda nodded, then followed Ardan down towards the dining table. While descending the stairs, Arinda saw Ardan greeting the little boy who was with Victor in the living room.

"Here, Arin..." Ardan waved his hand asking Arinda to come closer.

"Alvin, this is Aunt Arinda." Ardan introduced his son. "Arin, this is Alvin. My son..."

Arinda was asphyxiated as hearing it. It froze where it stood. For some reason, he himself did not know why.

"Hi..." Sapa Arinda waved her hand and squatted down before Alvin's small body. And invite him to shake hands. "I'm Arinda. You're so handsome, Alvin..."

Arinda's words made Alvin smile spoiled, after earlier he looked coldly at Arinda. Alvin did not return Arinda's invitation to shake hands. But holding up her tiny hand invites Arinda tos.

"Hi, aunt Arinda. I'm Alvin." Alvin's words were clear, even though he was 3 years old. No slurred at all. "I'm the son of boss Ardan. Can we be friends...?" Alvin said later.

"alice, Alvin. You're so adorable..." Arinda pinched Alvin's cheek. "From now on we're friends. Okay.." - Okay..."

They also talked for a while. With a chat that makes them like 3-year-olds too. For Ardan, Arinda is no less adorable when dealing with Alvin. And Ardan was relieved, as the two of them could get that familiar quickly.

They had breakfast together at the dinner table. As the day before, Arinda served Ardan first. Then he lets Victor have breakfast, as he also has to help Alvin. Only then did he take his own breakfast.

After the breakfast was over, they immediately set off for the amusement park. Arinda understood now, why they went to the amusement park.

Without saying anything, Arinda smiled looking at Alvin sitting quietly in the car. The boy was engrossed in coloring a picture of the plane in his coloring book. He seemed to enjoy the activity because the car was traveling at medium speed.

Today Ardan did not bring a driver. So Victor's driving the car. Ardan sat in front. Arinda and Alvin sat in the back. Alvin seemed happy to make a friend. Arinda makes the atmosphere very pleasant, so Alvin feels comfortable when with him.
